It's indeed a great investment for those who stay by the side of the house. Investment is never zero. Not gonna lie, I feel like the title is a bit misleading, not sure if someone has mentioned it before. When someone mentioned gambling, I imagined it as the act of playing games or placing bets itself, and when you put investment in it, it means you think placing bets is a form of investment, not running a business to manage a casino or something else. For example, I'd never think about a detective business when someone mentioned "adultery is a form of investment".

Anyway, obviously running a business is just that, running a business. I don't think it's similar to buying Bitcoin and selling it 4 yours later.

But then having a share with a reputable gambling company can be a fairly good investment. ..This is coz gambling companies as we already know has more edge than it's user and they tend to profit more from the odds and also from having many users. I think he is stating the company's gambling owner side.  There is indeed two ends of the stick here, the one who is gambling, and the one who hosts gambling.

Anyway, I think there's not a single crypto gambling company that's public. So, it's kind of hard to invest in one. Moreover, I haven't heard of any lately that conducted a crowdfunding or solicited investments from anybody.

Just because people are winning from gambling, building houses, and buying cars doesn’t mean gambling is an investment, just because you are good at making predictions doesn’t make it an investment. Either you good at making predictions or you not so good, gambling remaining the same, and it can never be called investment.

Actually the OP is talking about gambling companies selling shares, and not people gambling. If you tag gambling as an investment, then you are already misleading people, because some people will start pumping money into gambling, and they going to call it investment.
