... So, this coming 2026, what would be your Gambling-related new year's resolution?
Try out new games? Bet on new teams? To gamble less, or more?

Nah. I don't have gambling new year's resolution. But, I did try new games yesterday (which was apparently, 1st Jan), it wasn't intentional, I just was exploring casino and tried new games and lost some money.

What do you look forward on 2026 when it comes to gambling? New casino and unique features? New ways to gamble?

I have intention (but I am not committing myself yet), to make season long bet(s) during upcoming IPL season, let's see if I feel ready to lose money.

In addition, during 2025, I had a lot of ideas about strategies for working in sports betting and on forecasting platforms. However, cryptocurrency investments and analytics still take up most of my time. This is exactly me. Since my tactics didn't get me in trouble in 2025, I don't see any reason tampering with that. After all, they say, it's not wise changing a winning team in the middle of a game. I will maintain that stance for now.

In addition, I will devout more time to other online stuff that aren't gambling to further boost my finances. As the economy gets worse with inflation, one has to adopt means to increase one's earning power.

My gambling related New Year's resolution is to stay in good control to avoid serious problems like huge losses.
I myself am a person who is not easily attracted by new games, even from the beginning I did gambling until now I still stick with the same game. Once I tried a new game like rocket but I was not interested in doing it more often.

What I am looking forward to in this new year is the luck that really turns and gives me a big win, I don't expect hard but I want to feel a really large-scale win.

I, on the other hand, love slots and poker and dislike betting. That's because betting makes me incredibly nervous, and then I can't calm down all day, especially when the bet won't win for several hours. During this time, I literally felt how much it was affecting my health, because the anxiety was colossal. Maybe I should have bet smaller amounts, but then I'm not very interested in watching the matches.

Fortunately, it's new year already but however I have to say this that, the new year is a calendar timing not your timing, always remember that you are you and will keep being you even though the year change you probably will continue from where you stop but resolution is very possible after an examination of last year yet not much will change in the end but a better and responsible you should be activated but bare in mind that you can plan to change and start with full force and end up being not much changed.

Away from the above, what you said is right and I agree, new year is just one of the ways the universe separate time and seasons, people can change whenever they want, somebody who is doing something wrongly and knows what he or she is doing is wrong doesn't have to wait till the new year to decide to change, you can choose to change immediately and make something better out of yourself.
People are already used to making resolutions during the new year, but personally, I believe we can make resolutions any time and season of the year, it all depends on what your plans are as a person, and or what you want to achieve in a set period of time.

Thank you for all that correction, however no one can deny what I said is true, changes doesn't apply to new year or a change of season but basically on how someone feels at a point, if it calls for change then it is what it is, a year can come and you still find yourself struggling with the same fate even after proclaiming changes.

Being disciplined is my goal, not just in gambling, but in all aspects of life. I don't have big goals related to gambling, and I never have. Of course, I'd be happy if I won big. I don't have that kind of expectation when gambling, so if I win, I'm very happy that day. After a win, when my brain tells me I need to relive that moment, I try to stop it, trying to control my thoughts, realizing it's an illusion.

My resolution for 2026 is to stop chasing bonuses and start being much stricter when auditing operators. We’ve seen a big rise in web3 gambling lately but as the OP mentioned, greed often gets in the way of a solid strategy.

I'm not familiar with web3 games. But I will say that it could still be sports betting that might take a big hit or it will continue it's run this 2026. Most of the casinos right now have sports betting already and there are still some who wants to join the fun by having a sports bookies on their casino.

For slots, I think every operator will come up with their new games, new themes and trying to go ahead from the competition by having the first one to released new features. So it's going to be very competitive and the real winners is us gamblers in the end. And obviously, we will see new casinos as this is a billion dollar industry and owners wanted to get a slice on that big pie.

I actually don't really care about the potential that 2026 gambling will have in any way because I just want to go with the flow when it gets better.
Gambling in 2025 was good enough for me with all the methods and even if later in 2026 there is no change or there is new gambling with web3 I will just stick to my beliefs as a gambler where I will only try if it is profitable then I will continue.

The most important thing for me is not the place of gambling for now although it can be a consideration but I now just want to focus on making my conditions better especially in financial arrangements and restrictions made. Last year I will say that it was not that bad to me even though I didn't experienced a big win but I didn't do bad either because i was pretty more conciouse about my gambling budget, I always maintain my lane regardless. However, now is new year perhaps a fresh beginning and it an opportunity for every reckless gambler to make fresh and sensible decisions, this is also a time for an addicted gambler to correct their wrongs with a healthy and more save gambling life style if they still want to be in the system without having further issues.

Its really quiet frustrating if it happens that you really expect a lot to win especially if you think your team have high chance to win, but suddenly you lose. But this is part of consequences of betting on sports you like since everything does not give you any guarantee.

Even though that situation happen for many times I still find sports betting as exciting option, especially if you watch the game live. Since its add up some entertainment value of the game.

I've definitely decided that in the New Year 2026, I'll return to poker, and so I'll train hard to get back into shape, when I was able to take second place in major online tournaments, and when I'd invest a couple dozen euros and then walk away with several hundred in prizes. I want to recapture that feeling and that desire to relax while playing. But, of course, I won't forget about self-control.
