The behavior you are seeing is because I test for bugs on the forum frequently. You can see the  badge for security hunter on my profile for submitting valid bug on the forum.
This sounds plausible. I wouldn't want to get tagged either if I change or reset my password as many times as I want.

I did look for that badge, could not find it.  Now I know what it looks like.  I'm going to revise feedback to neutral until he provides a signed message - just because he tested for bugs in the past does not mean we ignore all suspicious behavior.  Where is Theymos to verify this account that helped the forum has not been hacked?

This is possible but until @krishnaverma confirms this himself, I will doubt the possibility if that being the case. Signing a message should be a good idea to prove that he is still in charge of the account because I'm convinced it is the work of someone trying to take over that account. If it were a simple case of forgetting or trying to change the password, it will not lead to changing of the email address, and the frequency of those attempts seems like someone trying multiple options.

I have tagged the account.

The behavior you are seeing is because I test for bugs on the forum frequently. You can see the  badge for security hunter on my profile for submitting valid bug on the forum.

So, I request you to remove the tag .

Thank you for your work in bug testing this forum.  Like others, I don't see a bunch of password resets at one time as being worthy of a negative feedback rating.  That's actually insane.  As someone who has also had threads created because I changed my password, people need to stop trying to police everything.  There are literally people here in DT who think users owe them an explanation for everything they do or else they will try to label them as scammers.  It is a problem plaguing this forum for a decade now and this place will never have any talent or projects worth participating in if this continues to be acceptable behavior.

What's more annoying than a moth hitting a light over and over expecting something different?    One that complains.  :/

Oggy - that is the way Theymos set it up and (according to you) you were fired from the treasury for it.  A moth can't learn, but you should be able to.

Where is Theymos to verify this account that helped the forum has not been hacked?

He is too busy to discover this thread on own. But if you PM him asking if I submitted bugs on this forum related to password and email change on bitcointalk , I am sure he will reply to you when he is free.

krishnaverma has for quite some time been in the habit of poking around for security flaws, and he has in fact found several which earned him bounties. For example, he most recently earned a bounty for noticing that some pages stripped whitespace from passwords, while others did not, which reduces password entropy and could cause someone to get locked out of their account. This is less severe than the lowest $1000 level on the security bounties page, but I felt that it was significant enough to award a sub-$1000 amount.

So this password-changing behavior is not unusual for him.
