Consensus: Custom PoS mechanism (QTUM fork) optimized for 1-second block times, enabling near-real-time confirmations suitable for payments, trading, and high-frequency dApps.
Block Reward: 0.08333333 WATTx per block (paid to validators/stakers).
Halvings: Bitcoin-style halvings every 126,000,000 blocks, halving the block reward to create predictable scarcity and deflationary pressure over time.
Supply Model: Uncapped initial issuance with halving schedule (similar to Ethereum's early model but with Bitcoin-like reductions).

Universal Cross-Chain Settlement: WATTx acts as the neutral settlement layer for atomic swaps between any UTXO chain (e.g., BTC, LTC, DOGE) or EVM chain (e.g., ETH, BNB, Polygon). Users lock funds on their native chain and claim on the counterparty chain via on-chain proofs – all coordinated and finalized on WATTx for speed and low cost.
WATTxChange.app DEX: Fully decentralized orderbook with on-chain matching and atomic execution. List and trade any coin without permission – true open liquidity for the entire crypto ecosystem.
Node Hosting Incentives: WATTx enables smaller blockchains to achieve better decentralization by paying users in WATTx to run their nodes. Partner chains integrate a simple reward mechanism where node operators receive both the native chain's rewards and additional WATTx payments per block.
