Was pretty miserable when the big dump happened back in october and my lighter position got wiped out just like that.
The good thing is I good pretty good airdrop from lighter and apparently they allocated 25% of their airdrop so it kinda make me whole from the losses I incurred that day.

But overall this year has been quite the ride, from meme coins to some hyped up projects I traded most of them and i closed 2025 in profit.

Since the beginning of 2025 I have been very good at trading and have been experiencing considerable profits. And from the beginning of 2025 till October I have been quite self-reliant and I have been bullish. But the month of October has stopped me with a big loss in my trading and till now I am stuck. But I will definitely profit from my trading because even if I have to wait for a long time I am willing, but 2025 has taught me something and I have learned that I have to be deprived of greed.

Although the amount isn't that big, I do make money. Maybe if I wasn't greedy and reinvested my profits back into the market, the amount would be quite large. But that's trading and that's the market. Sometimes when we've made enough, we just get impatient to make more profits. And in trading, the analysis and strategies we use don't always work. I've also lost money and experienced some losses. However, the amount doesn't make me lose my profits when accumulated and compared to the profit-to-loss ratio.

But honestly, in 2024, the market seemed to bring me much more profit than in 2025. I hope that in 2026, I can be more consistent in generating profits from trading.

The first few months of the year were good, but the last quarter, I lost a lot! All of my profits during the start of the year 2025 was all gone in only a few months. It's really a coaster. I was already winning, but shit happens.
But that's fine, I still have my capital, so for me, I can make them all back this year 2026. I already learnt my lessons, so for sure those mistakes I made will not happen again.

To be frank I wasn't that into full time trading as I wasn't that dedicated into trading, but however, I have been thinking of venturing into trading this Year, although I must not start this January maybe after I have made some savings then I can venture into trading full time, I also understand that there is no assurance in trading or one can't just define and be certain of amount they could be making while trading but at least after some research and sound studies one could definitely make money while trading, and of course that could take time while trading.

Speaking on PNL's then i can say that im on positive but not really that much, which means that i would be needing to make it better for this new year on which of course im still thankful that at least that after all the years on having that trial and error on which i do find myself that at least making up some money but of course I wont be making myself that confident because once you do have that kind of confidence then it will be that stop you on making yourself better and thriving to have even more better trades. Im keeping on learning on everyday on which that Im targeting that i will be making money consistently or something that you can be able to survive no matter what the market condition would be.

2025 is good but i would be needing to be better on 2026 and so on. We do know that once you do achieve such consistency then money comes in the line but of course it would be that a bumpy ride. Learning trading skills is never been easy and if you wouldnt be doing the hardwork then you are just that having no progress at all.

In as much as you can't deny the fact that trading is high risk and one can lose significantly if you are trading without knowledge of the market and  how to apply the right risk management.

BTW trading can be a steady companion in terms of making so level of profits and losing the minimal amount that you can afford,  and for that reason I will say trading was a means to a good end for me in some ways although with recorded loses also.

For newbies, don't trade and if you must trade make sure that you have good knowledge and skills to give you an edge above the market volatilities.

Yes, and also the newbies should always know that what they are first doing is not trading but more similar to gambling, so using very small amount of money that they can afford to lose is very important. Even if they are becoming a good trader, they should still stick to using a very small amount of money to trade.

To be honest, trading in 2025 was really miserable for me. It is through trading that I lost money in crypto during this period, and the cause of it was memecoins. I was just trading memecoins throughout 2025, and I admit that I regret it.I did not focus on trading all these past years; I only tried it once in a while, and I did not regret that. But as we entered 2025, some of my friends who made it in crypto claimed they succeeded through trading, and the way they traded was memecoins. That is how I started focusing on trading.

Almost all the money I made from airdrops was lost in trading, but I was lucky that I was not greedy. If not, I would likely have lost my Bitcoin investment as well. It is always easy for someone to tamper with their Bitcoin investment after losing all their money in trading. Someone might think, Let me sell my Bitcoin; maybe I will recover my losses but that thought never came to my mind.

It's really possible to make money in trading if you've got the resources and experience. But I am not going to give that false hope to the newbies because it's hard to get into that point that you'll be a profitable trader. Most of the traders honestly speaking are losing more money than making from it. Although they have a reason and plan with that through back testing and also accumulating on the side for investing and diversification. Those who are focused with trading, they know setups and have mastered the market not just through technical analysis but also with the news that could affect its movement in a day. If it's about being profitable in 2025, I was because of the bull run and through patience of holding.

It was flat for me. Many people I know lost money. Compared to them I can say I am in a fairly good shape. I learned it long time ago to not fight the market direction. It is almost impossible to make money in a bear market. In fact, the more trades you make, the more money you lose. (That’s true regardless of the market direction for me for some reason) I make the most money by doing nothing. Yes, doing nothing pays the most buck. I don’t understand why people get obsessed with trading. They must be thinking they can outsmart the markets. Some learn it eventually, some get trapped in the loop forever. I am not talking about doing a few trades per week or month. That’s usually fine but there are traders who make trades every day. That doesn’t look healthy to me.

My trading this year was poor and I suffered losses. Although the losses weren't significant they made me realize that I need to learn more about trading especially in controlling my emotions and choosing coins with sound fundamentals.

Honestly, I don't trade often because I prefer long term investing. Trading is difficult for me especially if I don't follow the market well. Missing information can lead to missed opportunities to profit. However I still trade with a small amount of capital so even if I experience losses they serve as lessons for me to trade this year. If I experienced several losses last year i hope this year I can improve especially in terms of profits.

Well, for now I'm currently in profit, but I don't think I'll have already recovered my losses before I have lots of mistakes in trading where all my balance is gone and gets liquidated. I thought before that I could replicate other traders who don't use stop-loss, but the fact is I just made myself vulnerable to liquidation that led to losing much without using risk management.
I learned a lot in trading by experiencing all the mistakes, and before the end of that year, I made a good profit, but still I didn't fully recover all my losses; however, even if I still have some mistakes or lose trades, I still make a small profit and take less risk. I hope this year will give me more positive profit and recover all my losses.

I know anyone here also experiences losing, but that's part of the trading journey; just treat your losses as your payment to learn from mistakes.

Many people have face tough time last year in trading, they have face challenges but some few have get more opportunities and get huge profit in trading and he as change some of there life and become something. Early last year when I try to trade i see he didn't favour me and some of my friends told me that not everyone used to get the benefit of trading but if I can focus more in t I will understand it better but I see like he won't favour me like others, so i prefer to just start investment in Bitcoin to get profit i don't too like risk because am not that strong in finance so I prefer to minimize my risk and invest in bitcoin and I see this DCA method always help very well but this season will be a great one and I will try to focus in trading this time and see if this year will be my best time to get benefits in trading.

So far for memecoin it was the worst but for spot I did more than 5x especially with privacy coins. It'll only be miserable if you stop I guess. Probably at loss for this year but still hopeful for this year too. I'll probably be holding spot, leverage and memecoin was probably a worst option to take this year.
