Gambling is all about smartness and not by going bigger and faster. In fact if you must know gambling is about being strategic and gambling responsibly. Most especially one should be that basically relying on the fun while gambling and shouldn't be that carried away with what they should be achieving or receiving while gambling.
When a gambler focused on the fun he would be gambling without being so much and overly worried about what they lose, and of course be more concerned in their entertainment level.

My goal for 2026 is not to lose money, but to win instead. I’ll try to stay away from casinos and focus on sports betting. Maybe I’ll play some poker too. The main goal is to play responsibly.

I agree with this point and really need more knowledge when gambling. Not with huge amounts but consistently increasing betting odds. Unfortunately that's very difficult and at the beginning of this year I haven't started any bets yet, still want to try out some specialized skills.

My goal this year is to spend more time on analysis to avoid wrong predictions. My friends have introduced a prediction platform that they find helpful. My past experience with them showed that these gambling prediction platforms are focused on making money.  One of them asked for the registration fee. Maybe I might consider checking some of these free prediction platforms to cross-check my games. I will not increase my budget; however, available funds will be maximised.

Happy New Year Bitcointalk gamblers! Let me be real with you op. Most gamblers who plan any gambling related new year resolutions don't really execute them well thanks to their endless greed of earning more and more and more money.

The few gamblers who stick to their plans like me either play smarter(Losing less) or just give up on gambling all together. A rare few end up earning huge regardless of whether they made any such plans or not.

I'm not going to rush in setting my goal, I'm planning of starting by April i want to use three months to clear my head from the experience i had last year. It's obvious that we are in new year, for me it is as if nothing has changed. For this i want to take a two months break to clear my head from the mess i went through last year, after that i can think of setting a new goal and also make some correction in some areas because if i don't do that i might experience that same mistake i made last year.

Since I didn't choose this kinda approach and reasoning towards gambling the whole of last year, I wouldn't dare to bring it on this year. It makes no sense because bringing it on this year means that I don't want to gamble responsibly again. I want to be on a loss every time that my finances will be very low because there is no way I will be a successful gambler with this kinda of approach to my gambling habits this year

I will go for a smarter, rather than a bigger play.....Long run success in gambling isn't determined by how large your gambling money is, but how smart you are to be disciplined even against all odds. To be disciplined means knowing the right games to go for, pputting in only the amount that you can afford to lose, avoiding loan to gamble, and also avoiding to chasing your losses....This 2026, my plan is to gamble responsibly than I did in 2025, while also being profitable.

I want to experience more wins in this new year. Maybe I will bet more often, even if with no larger allocation. Usually, I only choose a few bets with my allocation. But maybe I will try to make more bets; I might increase my allocation slightly more than usual. But maybe not much different, just a slight adjustment based on my income and needs.

Continue gambling responsibly(as every gambler out there should), hopefully end up with a positive net gain at the end of the year, but I am not raising my hopes up about it, and maybe dabble more in sports betting.

I just hope you don't push yourself too hard whenever you make a wrong prediction, since getting the wrong prediction is inevitable, no matter how good your analysis is.

Not play at all which is the most difficult goal for a gambler yet I am very decisive about it. I have stopped every access and opted for self exclusion in a permanent way in all three major casinos that I used to play. I don't care about new casinos at all as I am not going to waste money in chasing level up there too, it takes a lot of money to achieve big VIP or premium levels in any casino nowadays. I know I have already tried this before yet I never have opted for permanent self exclusion which even if you contact support of those casinos things will not be easy for you to come back, they usually by default won't let you come back without passing a lot of months as a minimum and even if you have made such time still they won't let you easily in. So let's see what this 2026 brings there for me. Cheers anyone.

Playing smarter of course you are into gambling and if you want to win the game you know how to win against your opposite and beat the game, now you considering what kind of game you wanted to play which is you are good at it, you have the potential to win. Dont play a game that you arent good at it or else you want to explore more also you can go with your comfort zone as long as its profitable with you. I prefer play smarter because you must need to consider being a self concious in your actions not all risk are worthy, not all games are ideal to play. Always manage the risk and the budget.

Don't do this, the more you are aggressive you will lose a lot of money... even if you dare to do it against the bookie is not our way to beat him, they will be the winner you should be aware of that.

Apply points 1 and 3... because in gambling you have to be careful as well as selective in the game not to get addicted, the point is this year there is no need to aim to win in gambling just do fun with a little money.

I will prefer to play less and be more selective with my bets. Not because i got hurt in 2025 but that’s a general principle of mine for a few years now. I don’t get the idea behind the aggressive approach anyway. To me it is a waste of time and energy. (Money too) it would also make you anxious. I’d rather be chill, bet small and random and be a happy guy for the rest of 2026. I don’t know why would anyone want anything different than this tbh but i can make a a guess. It is probably many people expect to get rich from gambling. I can confidently say that’s a bad path to take. Been there done that.

Hopefully we will see more improvements in the gambling industry this year. The industry is probably at its ath but there is always a room for improvement.

Play smarter is my goal this time. I’m playing with high bankroll amount  on my average game last year to achieved a decent amount of bet per round without exhausting immediately my bankroll.

This gives me a high risk whenever I play while my profit is not that high because normally I experience losing at the beginning and recover it later on the game.

I changing my strategy to become less riskier this year.

This is more of New Year resolution on gambling and from my experience on resolutions on the new year, many times we don't keep to what we have resolved to do as the year runs either because of pressure or just choice to go back to what we are use to. I will just take mine as it comes, I'm not resolving to do anything beyond what I have been doing, gambling responsibility with the amount I can choose to lose so that I don't get into pressure.

I wish I can understand the soccer game better so I can play smarter. I have some friends that record a high win rate, but I'm not that good yet, maybe I should dedicate more time to research and even consult them to know their prediction patterns.

Happy New Year! This year I want to be more aggressive. Before, I always played safe with limited budget. But now I feel ready to take more risks and hopefully get bigger wins. It's risky, I know but I'm excited to try it!
