Playing less and playing more selectively is better for 2026, choosing option 1 again is not a good thing because it will be able to trigger addiction, it is not a good end because we will lose all the time if we are already addicted to gambling, playing smarter can be another alternative choice option because this will be an optional choice when betting can be bigger or smaller in the use of funds depending on the opportunities we get later when gambling.

I see 2026 will be more beautiful than the previous years, more discipline in gambling responsibly will be very good.

I will start everything new in the new year, I will gamble with the aim of not making the same mistakes I made while gambling in the past and I will gamble only with the money I can afford to lose and enjoy the real fun. I will gamble in small amounts so that I can control my emotions and greed, gambling with more money does not control emotions and greed, the risk of losing too much money increases. So I will always set my border and manage my gambling wisely.

These are hard choices for me, I can go for all of it at the same time but it cannot be done. Maybe my best choice is the last on that list and that's to become smarter and not to aim too much bigger. Because with that, even if I have no plans to gamble I won't be thinking of winning big. And that's the typical casual mindset of a gambler which seems to be okay. The second choice is an aggressive one, I've been there and can say that it didn't work for me and if I'm going to try it again, I might end up the same still.

I would stick to my norm of playing smarter, not bigger and more selective with the kinds of bet I pick.
I learnt some great lessons from my gambling activities last year and am glad that towards the end of the year, I observed how I played and made some adjustments to come up with the final conclusions I have made.

I have not thought about setting a gambling goal for 2026, but nothing will be more suitable and satisfying to me than playing smarter, going in with less money and trying to raise it to a higher amount, and then knowing when to call it a day instead of being too greedy.

Gambling is all about smartness and not by going bigger and faster. In fact if you must know gambling is about being strategic and gambling responsibly. Most especially one should be that basically relying on the fun while gambling and shouldn't be that carried away with what they should be achieving or receiving while gambling.
When a gambler focused on the fun he would be gambling without being so much and overly worried about what they lose, and of course be more concerned in their entertainment level.

All of gambling rules are only working when you are beginning and once you started to be drenched into your adrenaline pump, you will never follow any rule like you are owning the entire world. So being smart and going slow and steady kind of guidelines will not be working for me once I get into gambling. Initially I am planning for everything like having limited by budget and gambling for 1 or 2 hours alone, even I will be making any profit, I should not continue but all of them getting forgotten after started gambling.

Bringing changes to gambling habit is not possible just by a resolution for a new year but it should be followed on each session of gambling through out a years so that it will become a practice rather than remaining as a resolution for every year.

Play more and go harder is freaking crazy and I don't think I can advise anyone to ever play more and go harder because the more you go harder the chances for you to lose money from your bets. Gambling is not for those that still have their emotions trying to teach them where to play game and how to avoid games that can become profitable for them. Fear is what will reduce the possible chances of earning.

You know, it is when you are winning that you can play more in the New Year but if you loss more in the previous year, to play gamble became a hard thing to do and that is the situation I am now. 2025 was not a favorite year before like many so I am not involving more in this year instead, I will only play games (sports) that are well assure. Premier League, AFCON, LaLiga and World Cup and other Leagues.

As far as I always gamble for fun, playing smarter and not bigger is always my mindset. That is what I have been doing, and that is how I will continue to gamble. In fact, I always have a budget for my gambling activities, which has helped me not gamble recklessly. If even possible, I have a plan to reduce my gambling activities, even though I don’t spend much on gambling. It would still be good to reduce the amount I budget for gambling every month. Luck plays a very big role in gambling, and that is why someone needs to always gamble smarter, not with bigger amounts, so that they remain on the safer side.

I have bills to pay and I'm not satisfied with the current income I make monthly, as it's not enough to feel stable and secure, so I don't have any plans for gambling in 2026. There are priorities right now which forbid me from gambling, due to that primary guideline: only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Since I don't have money I can afford to lose, I can't gamble at all.

If you are on the same condition as well, don't feel ashamed or afraid to give one step back on your gambling habits too. Think carefully on what you are going to do with your money on this new year. Time is a limited resource and we can't give ourselves the luxury of wasting it recklessly.

Everyone's plans for the new year may be a little different. Everyone will try to learn from the mistakes they made in the past so that they can good start. Although there is no such thing as new or old in gambling. Only those who control themselves while gambling will be able to survive in gambling. I think that even if everyone has a new plan when the new year comes, it will not be very effective in gambling if they cannot control themselves. If you want to be a smarter gambler in the new year, that is definitely a good principle. But after becoming smart, you have to maintain consistency. Even if you try to control yourself with a lot of focus at the beginning of the year, if it is not under control after a few days, then there is no point. I will try to keep betting like before, but I will try to be more cautious.

Play smart I can say, it's may be less rewarding to go harder and harder since gambling is a game of luck, you can only try harder and get good results on what truly looks real. When approaching gambling with a play smarter mentality, almost every result will shift and even if it fails, it won't be a much failure.

Although since I no longer gamble, I can forward the goal to my brother who constantly gamble everyday to try been smarter this year, maybe the result could be smarter too.

This is a very good one my dear, to play smarter is a wise decision to make as a gambler. By gambling smarter you will know how to manage your bankroll so that you don't get yourself into series of depts after losing all your money to gamble.

This year is going to be a year to play smarter and pay attention to other things that matters more than gambling but when I go gambling at the time I want, it's going to be a go harder. This is a very good point my dear, there are more important things than gambling, payimg more attentions to other important things will be better than putting all focus into gambling because of a jackpot that you have no assurance to win.

At first you should understand the reason for gaming and gambling before you know the next approach and directives to follow while gambling, and when your gambling moment are correctly defined then you would know what you are doing before knowing the next steps to follow while gambling. Gambling is about decision making and not what you are chasing at the moment, and of course we could also talks about the entertainment purposes before putting the benefit at the forefront. And yes many people nowadays talks more about the profits or benefits and refuses to focused on their plans and walks toward it without entirely being subjected to addictions.

I know that I don't spend much time for the gambling alone in my day so that part is perfectly fine and I just want to continue with that rate but as I said in other thread I want to try new games and imporantly not just few bets but one good session and see whether I am lucky with other games too. And I often wanted to get better at poker but I am not moving anywhere so how about getting a good one on poker is also should be added to the list.

Omo for me the most important one is discipline, but not just playing less,  it’s understanding why I play.  See most of our losses are not because of bad luck but because  of temptation of playing more maybe I might recover,  making emotional decisions, or trying to chase feelings instead of a plan.

And I will also treat gambling more like a calculated decision and less like entertainment driven by mood.  I’ll do this by using time limits,  money limits,  being okay with losing and making better decisions, and even taking a break if I need to.  See, sometimes the best thing to do for yourself is not to play at all.  If 2026 want to give us anything, I hope it brings us better judgement,  less impulse and more self-control for everybody. Let’s hope for the gift of not making stupid decisions and losing to that decision this year.  Let’s hope to not make rash decisions to win a game and instead make the responsible decisions to win.
