Here is the argument to with with a RandomX.

M3 Pro (12 cores): ~3,300–4,150 H/s

M3 Max (16 cores): ~7,100–7,580 H/s

Bitmain X5 200KH/s

Bitmain X9 1000KH/s

Bitmain X5 is only around 25   M3 Max laptops
Bitmain X9 is only around 138 M3 Max laptops

RandomX is still CPU and it really gives more decentralisation comparing to other algos like Blake3, Equihash, and others.

Going with GPU in 2026 and massive AI trend is very dangerous road.

There is not other best option of decentralisation in 2026

On top of it having Bitmain X5/X9 it is not like just click and join mining, it still need the pools.

Going with RandomX - LUMENYX really will be the unique project in the crowded space of EVM, privacy and PoW.

Good analysis on the X5/M3 comparison.

You're right - RandomX is still more decentralized than GPU algorithms.

We've been doing deep research this afternoon. Here's what we found:

The X5 uses RISC-V architecture (SG2042 chips) with ~8GB DDR4 per SoC.
Simply increasing memory parameters won't stop it.

Our solution: RX-LX (RandomX-LUMENYX)
- Fork of RandomX with modified VM
- New opcodes requiring AES-NI and PCLMUL (x86 only)
- SBOX remapping that invalidates existing X5 firmware
- Pointer chasing that penalizes RISC-V memory architecture

Result: X5 firmware produces invalid hashes. Day-1 CPU fairness.

We're implementing this now. More technical details coming soon.

Privacy is optional by design. Here's why:

**The Problem with Mandatory Privacy:**

February 2025: Binance delisted Monero, Zcash, Dash from EU/US platforms.
Kraken, Poloniex, Japan, South Korea, Australia followed.

Privacy coins with mandatory privacy = cannot be listed on Tier 1 exchanges.
They cannot reach mainstream adoption. Slowly being isolated.

**The LUMENYX Solution:**

Privacy is a layer on top, not forced on everyone.

- Base layer is transparent (like Bitcoin, like Ethereum)
- Anyone can build privacy solutions on top (mixers, ZK protocols, Tornado Cash style)
- Users choose privacy when they need it
- Chain can be listed everywhere - Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, all of them

**Result:** Maximum adoption potential + privacy for those who want it.
