That can only work if the president in question has human sympathy, the way leadership is done in Nigeria is far much different from that of other countries especially the western world that values citizens and not only interested in there self wealth. It's so disheartening considering the rate at which people are suffering and just like that the tax thing came in, there has been so much unrest since from the very onset when the tax bill was passed till date, people are just talking about it, once you just signed in on social media the matter is every where people asking questions up and down.

The rate of unemployed youths are just too much, and the government are not concerned at all, for the very ones who are even managing the work are not being treated right by their employers and on top of that small salary that won't even come when its meant to come will still be taxed. It's so sad and people are really complaining about it, even if the youths decides to rage we all know the country we're in, it will even make things worst. Have had so many narratives concerning this tax thing that if you're not careful you can even develop BP because of it, was at the market few days back and those women selling pepper and tomatoes were just pouring their heart and you can literally see how worried they're.

Taxing isn't the problem but what I'm even more worried about is the people who are being involved, some say just the salary workers, others say it also involves those selling pepper and other food stuffs at the market since their income is what the government is interested in, and then the narratives or description when you're sending someone money that is everywhere now is confusing a lot of people.

We're just in a country where our Leaders do whatever they want without considering it's citizens, people are really going through a lot and this tax thing will put people on edge. Getting a good job is like war and once you manage to get one payment is another thing entirely, our Leaders are just leaving the most important things and that's too bad.

If you don't have bank account then the tax is not for you because is assumed that what the person is getting is not even enough to feed them or they're not working at all, so even if they do it by stopping people anywhere they see them, the moment you tell them that you don't have a bank account they will no that kind of person are not the ones they are looking for, they have a benchmark so you can try and read it so that you will no what qualifies people to pay the tax and those whom the law says they shouldn't pay, I'm just sad that Nigeria was free tax country to some extent but with this we are living in a tax country presently.

Me I don’t have problem with the government deciding to tax its citizens who are in pole position to pay the required tax levied on them, afterwards even in the most developed countries for example in the Uk, they pay some certain tax. But my only problem with the Nigerian government is that despite collecting taxes from it’s citizens you will still be wondering what they are usually doing with this money because if you look at these other countries where they pay lots of taxes the government is really working to also try to make the lives of the citizens more better, but here in Nigeria the case is different. We have been paying taxes for long even paid Value Added Tax (VAT) on consumer goods, it was that bad but we still didn't complain. All the taxes that has been paid over the years where exactly has the money gone to if not to done personal pockets of some few individuals in the country. These countries that pays high taxes, the government has already provided an enabling environment for all of its citizens to strive upon, quality social amenities even jobs on arrival after schooling for those who are in school and jobs also for those still schooling. So when the citizens of these countries pays tax, they already know where and what the money is ment for, but we cannot relate to this in our own country. this administration na the most unserious administration for my submission , if no be government wey no serious, you never even fit fix all the basic amenities of the country including our very poor insecurity situation and you want make people stil they pay plenty money to the pocket of the government. Understanding you well, you are talking about how the government will tax those that don't bank account, do you also know that they understand many citizens who are not using Bank account. They different accounts in other Banking system like opay, monipoint, kuder and many more. And if you understand this very country, they plans already
before coming to let you know there plans already. Weather you are jobless but they transfer in one way or other so they will be tax doing the transaction.
