I believe this is the question in the minds of many Nigerians. In the beginning, most people arrived at Bitcoin with the hopes of making a quick buck. I think the earlier we start seeing Bitcoin as a regular investment option that as well demands patience just like the others, then the better for many investors. Not related though, but even your regular land investment_{(which is quite popular in Nigeria here)}, demands time as well to appreciate, so i clearly don't see why Bitcoin should be an exception when it's clearly not a magic. Well i won't blame anyone though considering the fact that a lot of investors are still tied up in the world of random projects that promises 10x-100x, or even more, in a very short time. The thing is that people should not  have high expectations of returns when they invest in Bitcoin. The issue has always been with respect to the poor understanding that a lot of new investors always have that makes them mistake everything that's in the crypto space to be same thing.
