Which AI-based tokens would you buy in 2026?

I'm not a fan of AI-based tokens, but I'll continue supporting the Venice token; it passed all my criteria. The only downside is that the contract creator can alter the contract based on GoPlus Labs' analysis and what is shown in their Coingecko listing.
I'm using the platform and it's one of the best AI I've used.
All the features are great, and the roadmap is attainable, and of course, it was created by American cryptocurrency entrepreneur Erik Voorhees, and that's what makes it worth investing in for me. The project was controversial in its early stages, but the features are all worth it.

As with other areas, I believe the key tokens in this field are TAO and RNDR. We can say that these two coins, in particular, will once again make people take notice of the AI hype. While we believe they are currently undergoing an accumulation phase, it is possible to acquire a small amount of each of these two coins and set them aside. TAO has a broader and more distinct area of interest compared to its competitor, but RNDR has just as much potential to deliver results.

These tokens are good, but I believe they are oversaturated these days. Everyone is already holding a "piece of the pie". Which means, chances of such tokens experiencing a huge "pump" all of a sudden are slim. Better try new coins, I guess. For what I know, the AI hype is still on-going. It's going to take a long time before the dust settles. Combining AI with Blockchain sounds like a great idea. But adding Quantum Computing into the mix, would be even better. That's the next big thing. Just wait until you see the first Blockchain which makes use of Quantum Computers. AI will be left behind in the dust, as investors flock to new projects making use of the tech.

Speaking of AI, would you imagine NVIDIA launching its own crypto someday? That would be huge. I'd have money ready to invest if it becomes a reality. Just my two sats.

It would be TAO. I’ve seen some crypto influencers post, and TAO is also one of their picks. This coin has the potential for long term holding, unlike other so called AI coins that are just riding the trend. What I’m really watching out for is if OpenAI/ChatGPT launches its own token. If they ever do in the future, considering how widely known they are, I’d definitely buy it. As of now, there are no leaks that they will launch their own token.

I share the sentiment of most commenters regarding AI tokens; TAO stands out as having the most significant potential for further price appreciation.

Despite the recent price dip, TAO is quite unique because its price often surges unexpectedly, making market timing difficult. However, I personally believe it remains a strong candidate for a long-term hold.

From what I know about TAO, influencers have been using it as a narrative since its inception, so it depends on whether they still believe in it or have already sold. Sudden increases should be questioned, as without clear fundamentals, TAO could pull the rug out at any time, like when they unexpectedly pumped, as you mentioned.

Putting all in into the Virtual. It's not only offering gimmick, but it's often used by people too. So, i rated them so high based on their usability compared to the other ai tokens exist, which is offering buzz word only.

That's also the reason Virtual is sitting at the 76th in CMC. It's being priced high not caused by its noise, but utility.

I don't really invest in AI token because why invest in AI token if you can invest in $NVDA, $TSMC, and other stock. I see it as kinda pointless.

If i invest in crypto it should be a real crypto asset like bitcoin because that's where crypto really shine, not some pseudo-artificial intelligence token but a real privacy preserving cryptocurrency like bitcoin or even ethereum.

Maybe its too early for me this time of the year to buy any for now, instead i would rather prefer to watch and speculate for more before taking decision upon anyone of them, i cant afford to use my money in feeding shitcoins this new year, better late than never, the year is still fresh and young.

I thought "Worldcoin" was already associated with OpenAI? I mean, OpenAI's co-founder Sam Altman launched Worldcoin. Now, integrating WLD into ChatGPT? That's another story. Perhaps, WLD will serve as "resource credits" for users to interact with ChatGPT. The more WLD you have, the more queries you'll be able to make.

For now, RENDER and TAO remain the best AI-focused projects in the crypto/Blockchain space. I don't think newer projects will be able to outmatch them. These tokens might be oversaturated, but that doesn't mean you can't make money with them. At least, in the long-term. For short-term gains, it's best to look elsewhere. New and unproven AI-based crypto projects are more suitable for this. I've read the Near Protocol (NEAR) is the next big thing. It's a Blockchain which makes use of AI agents. Who knows? Maybe it will "boom" someday. I'd buy, and "hodl" just in case.

I also thought of it but I am no longer to put that hope in it. I've invested some money in it and thought with its association with OpenAI will make it worthy. The mistake I did was I didn't take profit when I should have been up around $200-$400 because I've became greedy. And that's why I stopped and now I am in losses with it. Learned the lesson that I am advocating with that anyone who's in profit should take the profit because if you don't, the others will do that for us and they're going to leave us with the cheaper profit until we ran out of it.
