CriptoIntercambio is a scam, I swapped on 2.1 BTC on Exodus for USDT but never received the USDT, it's the same entity than Changelly which is also an unregulated project allowed/integrated on Exodus, Ledger, Safepal, Tangem, Ellipal... which is Marella LLC located in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, support is ghosting me! I need help and advices please, what should I do at the moment?? Please help

Nothing can really help you here. You should pursue legal action, starting with suing Exodus and all the wallet companies that integrate it, as they profit share from the exchange's activities.

Exodus in-house swap service is really problematic, there have been so many different cases of customers running into problems after using third party swap services in Exodus and i don't think this problem is coming to an end anytime soon.

That said, i am surprised you withdrew 2.1 BTC at once through Exodus swap service, i wouldn't do it, nobody should do it. If you want to use a third party custodial platform, then you must break down your withdrawals into smaller amounts, don't withdraw it all at once. So if you eventually run into problems while swapping, your losses will be minimal.

Just curious, when did this happen? What did they say? Are they asking you to do KYC verification? There was a case posted here last July where the guy who swapped BTC to USDT and didn't recieved his funds on the supposed alloted time, eventually got his funds back after a week or so after complaining, that being said, there are people complaining issues against Criptointercambio and Exodus.

I was right in leaving Exodus. This is not the first time Exodus has partnered with a scammer; now their new partner has done it again, and they cannot partner with the right exchange.

2.1 Bitcoin is such a huge exchange. Did OP already use that exchange before to trust the 2.1 Bitcoin right away? I agree with one member's opinion that Exodus might be conniving with these exchanges to scam their users; people should dump Exodus for a better wallet.

I also think that has to be right, it cannot just be a coincidence that most of the third party exchanges integrated into Exodus' swap service is a scam, they have to be a part of it. Maybe they get something out of it all.

There was a lot of scam accusations involving N.exchange and Exodus and many of those accusations are still unresolved. If Exodus were not a part of all this, they would have reviewed their third party exchanges and made necessary changes, but they haven't.

Is this for real? Because I am really finding this hard to believe, i honestly can not see myself having up to even 0.5 bitcoin and when wanting to swap the bitcoin, I will be making use of an unverified swap exchange, I can never take such risk no matter how reputable the wallet I am using is..

Saying this because it takes really nothing to move such amount of bitcoin to a reputable and well trusted exchanges like binance, bybit, Bitget and perform the swap there.
Yeah, I know this are kyc enabled exchanges but isn't it better to go through the KYC verification which takes less than 3 to 5 minutes on some exchanges, than risk losing my precious bitcoins worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on a non-kyc swap service I've never tested before to guarantee their reliability?

Lately, Exodus has been abetting scammers in their ecosystem. I could remember sometime last year, a complaint was raised here involving one of the swap exchanges under Exodus, and to date, it seems they are yet to rectify that issue, and now another huge scam has occurred. But OP has been a member of this platform, looking at his profile, and I am surprised OP could still fall for such when there have been lots of complaints here about the Exodus wallet and its loopholes affiliates, or whatever you call them. It is obvious that the money is likely gone, and there is nothing OP can do about it anymore.

A couple of weeks ago, OP made the post above, complaining about this same service. About how they confiscated his $320,000 USDC since March 2025, and up until now there is no update in that thread if OP received his money back. So i cannot understand how OP can have an unresolved scam accusation against Criptointercambio and still go on to use Exodus third party swap service which has this platform integrated, to swap 2.1 bitcoin for USDT.

I find it difficult to wrap my head around it and i would love it if OP can comment on this.

Imagine choosing to use exodus swap as though there are no other, much better and transparent services out there. Worse still, trusting them with such a huge amount. I have seen numerous complaints about Criptointercambio. I still wonder why Exodus decided continues to partner with them despite the many complaints.

Excellent observation. These are substantial amounts we are talking about. OP is a rich person to trade these amounts in a single transaction. OP should give us more proof that what he is complaining about, the amount he traded, is all true. I know he can still access his wallet. Why not show us a screenshot of the transaction and blur parts that OP thinks will expose his information?
These two threads don't add up to what he claimed.

The same reason why they still partner with N.exchange despite all the numerous scam accusations against that exchange, both on and off the forum. Any serious platform that cares about their reputation would have taken action and made some well needed changes. But since Exodus has chosen to stay radio silent about everything going on with their third party swap service, then nobody will be wrong to say they get a piece of the stolen pies.

For anyone in the same situation, here’s what to do: send a ticket request to their support https://criptointercambio.support/ clearly state that you will involve a lawyer if they do not release your funds. Shortly after I did this, they refunded me. Their service is completely unregulated and appears to be operating illegally in many countries.

Thanks for posting this update, i would prolly not have seen it. A lot of selective scamming platforms do this, they seize funds from a lot of customers and only pay the few who make the most noise or are more persistent in getting their funds back.

Happy ending for akmal1984. It's definitely terrible to have to wait 10 months to get your money back, but glad you were able to and hopefully a valuable lesson learnt in the process.

On closer inspection, OP is the same person who reported his case was resolved. If he had acknowledged that it was resolved using the support contact he got, he wouldn't have had to create a new thread.
What I'm wondering is that I didn't find any support contact that points to a *.support domain. The only one is support@criptointercambio.com. If OP ends up doing the same thing (editing the OP with that site), I think the OP is just trying to shill his fake site, and this case never happened.

The *.support domain published by OP is fake and not associated with Criptointercambio.
OP is trying to redirect users to a phishing domain by promoting a fake recovery process to draw attention from the forum. Account akmal1984 has been probably changed hands due to recent email address and password change plus the scammy behavior.

That was a good catch by Albon. This guy is a scammer and is using this section to perpetuate his scheme. He probably bought a fake account from scammers to gain trust in his thread.
The two threads are questionable. This is a well-conceived scheme because Exodus has past issues with its third-party exchanges, and OP found a way to exploit it. It's good that the scheme is exposed this early.

I knew this guys claim was somewhat suspicious and i earler called him out in this topic, asking for clarifications, which he obviously didn't chime in to give. He claimed to have lost huge amounts twice, at separate times, using the same service, even a newbie would know better than to do that.

It's because of people like OP that we don't jump into the defence of the "plaintiff" in this Scam Accusation section, except they provide some kind of evidence.

OP's account akmal1984 has likely changed hands because of the recent email address and password change that was proceeded by a scammy behavior. He found a strange idea to benefit from the account and might even possessing other accounts probably sold or hacked.
