I understand your pain Ucy but don't use God's name in vain. I hate when people involve God in things that God will not intervene in as if the captured leader is a holy and a direct son of God. Nevertheless, Invading another country and capturing their leader is definitely something that is against UN convention but unfortunately, no one is speaking up, not even China that claim to be a super power. If the case of Venezuela succeeds, other countries will follow and that may be taking the world back to the dark ages of war and bloodshed.

Honestly, I couldn’t even think in a million years! Citizens jubilating on the street after their president has being abducted by another country’s president could mean another thing entirely. I don’t know much about Venezuela but the whole news about his abduction have been around drugs, so maybe the citizens are facing bad ordeal of not a very good leader, if not, why will they be celebrating his arrest. This is one of the top news around now and Donald Trump has also publicly said things about this and his involvement in it. A press conference will take place by 11AM according to him, we will get to know about the situation.

Ironic, because everyone here is pretty aware Maduro stole the lastest election in this country and he was just a dictator living withina facade of democracy in this country.

Trump is very sensitive to people who steal elections. It hurt him, deeply, when it happened to him in 2020. They tried to get Trump legally placed into prison through fake court adjudications. Thank Goodness that the US is different than Venezuela, and they couldn't do it to Trump.

That's one of the reasons Trump is against Venezuela right now. He isn't against Venezuela, per se. He is against Maduro and the people who align themselves with him.

Of course, there are other things, most of which have to do with enforcing the Monroe Doctrine... an enforcement that many other late US Presidents didn't do. It's about regulating the influence China and Russia have over South and Central America.

Abducting the president of Venezuela is not going to solve the problematic scenes on ground. It's probably making things worse than before and I would urge Donald Trump if I happen to be in the shoes of his personal advisor. But you do know this is hilarious? Never a year or on the trends have I heard about a president of a country been Abducted. Clealry politics is a dirty game, that a person will stood so low to become a puppet in another's man country.

Actually, it is a common thing for people to believe God allows these kind of things to happen.
I have seen people here in Venezuela claiming Maduro was ousted from power because God allowed it to happen.

So depending whom you ask, God may have a direct involvement in politics or now. My personal instance is God not having anything to do with human politics, it would go against much of what we have learnt from the Bible.

Though, one indeed needs to talk to God when moments of uncertainty like these in Venezuela come and one does not know how to face it.
