I voted for NO because this will not have any effect on price of Bitcoin. Venezuela is an oil rich country so any chaos there will affect oil prices mostly and not everything. Although the market for other commodities might shake a little but there will be no net impact on them.

What would they benefit in return if they come to your country to capture the bad leaders over there? They might claim to be fighting the drug cartels and the government of Venezuela cause he's related to the drug cartels over there but behind the scene the US government is there for their interest  which is the large reserve of Venezuelan oil.
 So if your country also have something to offer, something that would interest the US government then you'll see them troop in and secretly milk the resources in the guise of fighting corruption, same way the French government is milking some of their colonies in Africa.

You seem to know little about my country and when you do know how the country is for the West, you will see reason why it will be a choice destination for Trump. Let me school you a little, Nigeria is rich in oil and natural gas which is the only thing the MSM wants the world to know. But beyond oil and natural gas, Nigeria have abundant reserve of precious metals like gold (in Zamfara state, Kaduna state, Ogun state and many other states). Nigeria also have rare earth metals in large deposit in states like Bornu, Yobe, Kaduna and many other States. Instead of those precious stones and rare earth metals to be mine illegally by the Chinese in collaboration with our corrupt politicians like they are doing now and using bandits and terrorists as shield, a partnership with the US will profit us more.

The price of bitcoin hasn't budged; it's as flat as a boring day. Seeing this, I very much doubt that on Monday, more than two days after this, there will be a very significant impact on other markets. I've seen Trump say some stupid things that have had more instant impact on the price of bitcoin than the bombing and arrest of Maduro.

Oh, we're both from same country then, I didn't go through your profile to see that you're my country mate, now I totally understand why you said that cause this present administration in Nigeria  is doing more good than harm but I doubt that the US government would use same measure on him since they have his file as a drug lord in Chicago but still watched him become the president of Nigeria.

I don't think Venezuela made it to top 10 of crypto adoptors in the world and they have very less number of crypto adoptors in the world to be feared that this incident could cause clash in the bitcoin or crypto markets.
Although this country is a crypto familiar place which they also have a global influence in the crypto market.
However, if we have to gossip about the economy effect of this threat, then it should be more of their own national economy markets like the oil as mentioned and other prioritized of the nations resources while though it may trigger a bit stagnation in the crypto market because however it is, there may be known and unknown whalers and institutions investors who the nations economy change may affect their Crypto investments.

No, it was not, but we all know that all financial market has been affected by the geo-politics around the world. Like the war between Ukraine and Russia wherein during that time it was a negative impact on crypto or any other market as a whole.

The Capture of Maduro and his Wife has nothing to do with Bitcoin price rather Oil Price would fluctuate greatly. As Venezuela is a country with a massive Oil reserve in the world with about 303 billion barrels. Citing a geopolitical event involving Oil and Power Play to affect Bitcoin price is far from each other. 

OP, I believe you meant to talk about how the capture affect "Bitcoin Price" and not "Crypto crash" overall, it would be great if you make it clear so most members won't be confused and tackle it from a different perspective.

It's not really about Venezuela being into oil, but about Venezuela not being a country that is considered among the world powers, that's why the conflict with American won't affect bitcoin price. Had it been another country that is considered as among the world powers, or a country that can at least match US in term of military capacity, the market would have been disrupted whether the country is more into oil wouldn't have mattered. Most market participants don't see Venezuela as a threat to the US, so there's no need to panic.

I managed to check the market and saw that it was green;
I came online this evening and started hearing US, Venezuela and arrest. I don't seem to understand all of this. I will have to watch TV and browse the internet to understand what is actually happening.
But for the market, there's no threat. It seems that the market doesn't want to obey the cycle rule again. I am still seeing projects of 200k and I do not know what to believe.
