I’m posting this as someone who has been following BlockDAG for about a year now. This is not an accusation and not financial advice — just my personal observations after watching how things have changed recently.

For most of the time I’ve been involved, leadership visibility felt limited. Names like Anthony and Liza were present earlier on, but over time they’ve disappeared from communication. Recently, Gurhan Kiziloz has stepped forward much more clearly as the main public figure and leader of the project, especially through AMAs.

That shift alone isn’t necessarily a problem. Projects evolve. Leadership changes happen. But when leadership becomes more visible, expectations around communication and transparency also increase.

What concerned me was the tone during at least one recent AMA. From my perspective, Gurhan came across as unusually aggressive when responding to community questions. Some comments felt dismissive, and at times openly insulting, including calling people “stupid” for asking questions. Regardless of intent, that kind of response doesn’t inspire confidence, especially from someone now positioned as the face of the project.

Stress and pressure are understandable, but how leadership reacts under scrutiny matters. When reasonable questions are met with frustration instead of clarity, it raises questions rather than resolving them.

Combined with this, there are still areas where I personally feel clarity is lacking — particularly around concrete progress versus future claims. I’m not saying development isn’t happening, but as a long-term investor, I expected more direct explanations by now.

What pushed me to write this is that many concerns seem to be shared quietly rather than discussed openly. That kind of hesitation to speak publicly usually isn’t a good sign in any crypto community.

I’m not telling anyone to buy or sell. I’m sharing why recent events  especially Gurhan Kiziloz stepping into a visible leadership role and the tone of communication  have made me more cautious than I was before.

If others here have been following BlockDAG or the recent AMAs, I’m genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives. Open discussion is how people protect themselves in this space.

It’s interesting to hear from someone with firsthand experience in BlockDAG. What specific observations stood out to you during your year as an investor?
