There are allot of take aways one can take away from crypto investments as it requires some levels of self discipline for anyone to successfully invest in crypto currency. This is the reason why not everyone can go into crypto currency and there are even those who has called crypto a scam due to certain characteristics that, are expected from investors. patience is a virtue that is rare in our country especially among the growing youth population and crypto currency has taught us to be patience because the more you wait for your investment the better because crypto investments is not something that can be done on a hurry and made gain, it doesn't work that way.

I see alot of people just pasting what the OP has already highlighted, for me, everyday is a lesson on my journey in Bitcoin Investment, I have acquired some of this qualities but the one am proud of, is my increase in knowledge in an untapped economic poll. Investing in Bitcoin taught in the difference between gambling and planned strategic execution of trades, Bitcoin investment introduced me to Bitcointalks where I have learnt alot and I have will continue to learn especially in interpersonal relationship with other crypto enthusiasts, so for me, I have gained and developed alot from the crypto space.

Crypto can't teach all this. All it does is to reveal your character and makes you want to improve unless you don't want that. So just saying crypto develops character is false. Why do I say this. The same market produces two people. One that chases the market and the other discipline. All it does is to reveal. Those characters can only be developed if the person wants it. I agreed with you mate, crypto doesn't automatically change our character in the market because we're in charge and we're the ones that will choose to either develop or remained stagnant in the market. Crypto exposes our very habits, those features we're scare of letting out, crypto shows everything,nour behavior, emotions and so on.

There are two people in the market, both of them are influenced by crypto where one is changed when it comes to taking decisions for himself, he becomes more disciplined and follow his principles while the other one is distracted by market trends and at the end of the day, he makes impulsive decisions which never yield results for him.

Your experience and years of being in this forum must have benefited you in many ways. Because apart from the fact that you can earn through signature campaign,the knowledge you have gain from people quality posts is also part of a great benefit. Clearly speaking,I believe a lot of people in this forum didn't know much about bitcoin before joining the forum but the moment they joined,their knowledge in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies gradually became widened. The good thing is that these knowledge are free of charge as you don't need to pay anyone a dime to learn. You just need to read quality posts and then learn some few healthy points from every each of them everyday.

You are absolutely right with the points you made because the noise currently in the cryptocurrency market is causing a lot of FUD and FOMO and an investor has to learn to filter out the noise in order to get the best return on their investment.
Another thing is that in the crypto currency market, red and green are symbolic and while red may indicate danger and a dip, the most profitable investors know that red means go or buy and green could mean pause and hold.

Lastly, with the recent case of coldcard incident, it is up to investors to do their research so as to know how to secure their investment because some are rushing into ETF and others think CEX are even safer, but the truth is that no one knows which is safer, but it is you the investor who bears the responsibility of self custody and that means you owe it to yourself to know the best practices to hold your funds singly or separate in different safe wallets that prevents total loss of all your funds should any such case of hack happen in the future.

OP I think that you’re overstating the effect of crypto on an individual. Most of what it’s described in the OP aren’t even qualities associated with cryptocurrency but rather Bitcoin. Bitcoin will teach you patience if you’re an investor and your consistency in investing builds your confidence and discipline in bitcoin and these are qualities that also help you in life.

Cryptocurrency doesn’t teach you to control fear or greed instead it feeds on your fear and greed and pushes you to make decisions on it, it’s only a disciplined investor in bitcoin that gets to control his fear or greed.

You’re just generalising qualities of a good investor as what crypto teaches. Being in the crypto space comes with it’s lessons and experiences which forms the character.

I one needs multiple stream of what income that means not everyone can manage Bitcoin, because now even have the opportunity to have multiple sources of income like you said. Life is not equal with everyone in that regards, carefulness is very important to all decision making in investing in Bitcoin even if you have multiple sources of income and is not careful. That he or she will later loss it all to carelessness from part of the investor.
