Maybe short term, there are people like that who are very good at predicting sports bets but on the long run they have fumbled or can I say that they lost their powers or something? Maybe.

I don't believe in the power of prediction because on the long term you run out of luck just like everyone, I will only believe it the predictor isn't human, many someone who is not of this earth, and alien or a brainiac maybe, I tried, I did my best finding such people who are good at predicting sports but it doesn't take long for me to figure it out that we are all similar, they use data analysis and they predicted the matches, same thing that AI would do.

When I first started betting, I often missed the mark due to my lack of experience in the soccer I was betting on. I was in despair, but then I found an influencer on Telegram who very clearly and interestingly explained why one team would win and another would lose. I saw that he had a lot of followers, so I started betting as he told his audience.
But eventually, after about three successful bets, he started making constant mistakes. Because of this, he attracted a lot of hate from the audience, and I unfollowed him, realizing that I need to think for myself.

This is where a personal determination comes in. We all need to realise rhat what works for Mr. A might not work for you.  And because he is doing it and getting results it means ot will.also work for  you. The moment you realise that im sure life would be abit easier for the choices we make.
If I am somebody who has been gambling before and and had to quite because it doesn’t really favour me . And I come across someone who has been consistently winning in gambling i doubt i will go back to it. I already accept my faith that it is not my thing.

No I won't change my mind and that is the right thing as well, maybe the one who is successful is good at it and predict the games based on many factors which I failed to see doesn't mean I can turn into that person. I believe that it is possible to make money this way, but you need to choose events very carefully and study each game thoroughly. My mindset may change because if I am acquainted with someone who is experienced in sports betting and makes a suggestion to me, then my mindset may definitely change. I believe that in sports betting, knowledge of the sport, team identity, venue knowledge, past history of the team and win-loss record often play a more important role than luck in betting. So if someone experienced and has a lot of past winning records suggests me, then my mindset will definitely change.

It is possible, but it’s not common at all, I’ve been around betting long enough to see how most stories end people start hot, feel confident, then slowly give it all back. Thats the normal outcome, but I’ve also come across a couple of guys who’ve been winning for years, tracking everything, betting boring lines, and never chasing, watching that changed how i looked at it.

They’re not taking random bets or buying into trends, just patiently working small advantages and sticking to their process and for every person who pulls that off, there are countless others who never get there.

If I ever meet a consistently winning sports bettor, I would most likely believe that he has connections within the sports betting mafia and he gets insider info about fixed matches. Luck and consistency are two things, which cannot exist at the same time. Nobody has consistent luck. No sports bettor can win consistently just by making great analysis. Analysis can help increasing the win ratio in sports betting, but it cannot guarantee a 100% win ratio. I would never consider sports betting to be some kind of a grind or a hustle. Increasing the effort(the quantity of the bets) would never lead to increased profits.

I already believe it is possible to make a living off betting on sports, I have never had any doubt about it in my life as a bettor. However, I am very aware only a very small percentage of people can be profitable in the long term when comes to betting on sports.

It's true that sports betting can be profitable but bettors should have it in mind that winning is not constantly guaranteed cause of the luck factor and house edge, which is why only few people hit it big and the funds of the rest who lost would be used to pay those who win larger rewards. That's the reason why sports betting shouldn't be relied on cause you never can tell if you'll be among those that would be lucky to win bigger rewards. Those situation can really happen, but as always house always have huge favor since usually they win in long run. Although even if some people may say that they found best strategy to win consistently still its proven that none of it will work for long time.

So even if we say that they find loop holes or do those things that illegal to do in the casino still the casino would eventually find out and ban them together with they can freeze their account and that will make everything not sustainable. That's why same as you even if those people saying they are profitable they cannot change my mind.

I have hear stories of gamblers that had huge wins, I have read about it and I have witnessed a few but still many huge wins of people but yet it didn't make me to seriously and compulsively want to start betting more often than usual. Not that it doesn't make me feel like wanting to win such huge amount that they won but I can not chase it but will still keep trying my luck responsibly until any day the luck locates me, but I won't be compulsive to chase for it. Gambling is not a source of income for me, unless there is a full proof of how you can consistently remain profitable, then I will turn it to source of income but for now, it's not.

True but there are some ways to make money from sports betting. I'll tell you one such method here, it's called Arbitrage betting.

Basically you need to find 2 website that offer different odds. For example, in a NFL match, website 1 offers 2.05x for Eagles and 1.9 for Bills. Now you have to find a website 2 that offers 2x or higher on Bills and then you make free money.

Although nowadays bookies are smart and they have advanced tools to catch such arbitrage bettors but you can still make some money before they find and limit your bet amounts.

There is nothing like long term winning in sport betting, since we can 100 percently predict the outcome of a match at most we can just try our best to analyse the game via teams statistics and performance then basing the outcome on luck and nothing more than that, we cant win all the time is not possible.

I'd really like to meet someone like that, but I doubt there are people who consistently win good money. I sometimes watch people who bet online like Drake does and they lose money that I wouldn't be able to afford to lose. The industry is built on people winning from time to time and thinking they can repeat it and then losing it a few times until they finally win again and start from scratch.

I'm not saying you can't win because I've won a few times, but making a consistent profit from it is impossible. Some people just can afford the losses. They will lose $100k over a course of 1 month and then win 200k next month and they will tell you they're a consistent winner because on that given year they won $100k, but they won't tell you that to win that 100k they had to wager 1m and at some point were -500k. Most people can't afford a loss like that which is why usually rich guys are the ones that win big and brag about it.

Not exactly, it would take a lot to convince me because sports betting is way beyond just winning a few times. Anyone that is profitable definitely has somethings that he does to make profit. winning consistently is difficult even though it might seem like you can have an increased chance of winning. it is very difficult to be a profitable bettor but this is not totally impossible though it is just difficult to achieve

In fact, from what I understand about gambling, it is basically a game of luck, so no matter how many experienced people come and give suggestions, my mindset will not change. If it really depended on experience and skill, then many people would have gained a lot of skill and experience and tried to win at gambling.
Yes, but it is also true that all sports betting, be it cricket or football, hockey or volleyball, depends on some skill and experience, but there is no guarantee that it will depend on 100%. However, if an experienced sports bettor gives someone some suggestions and he can bet according to those suggestions, then he may get some positive results.
