Kids how, I don't understand, kids are just children from 1 to 12 Year's old and this set of people don't even work and they really don't care about money all what they really care about is playing and watching cartoons so I think you made a mistake maybe you are referring to Young adult which is from 20 to 29 and if you are talking about this young adults then you made a very good point because some of them don't think about Investment all they think about is how to enjoy and spend their money in clubs and do a lot of unnecessary things that really don't matter and then end up being broke and poor in the future and then blame the government.

the problem is that they receive their first paycheck and they purchase unnecessary items already like the latest phone, expensive clothes, eat in expensive restaurants
This action sometimes occurs when a person is hanging out with friends who they consider to be competitors with them instead of just friends; they need to keep up with the trend. Instead of thinking about investing in their future, all they care about is how to enjoy the moment, and they don't consider themselves old enough to start investing in real life, as they think their parents are the ones taking care of such for them for the time being, which is a very wrong way of thinking no matter the age of the person.

Don't forget that no matter what you say kids will always be kids and they will always be influenced by their peers if they mix up with other kinds that are all about going out and spending money they will be negatively influenced and once they see that their mates are spending instead of investing it's going to be hard for them to think about investment when they have parents they will leave things for them to inherit. If you notice your kids spending on the things they don't need you can give them financial knowledge and withdraw them from the friends that are not helping them with that they can think about the future by investing wisely.

Religious people won't spend that with those unnecessary purchases. Because they'll give it to as an offering for their fruits.

So, I am here not to debate but to say what I have observed. And that's okay if that gives them the satisfaction. And however we're spending our money, we're all responsible for our very first pay checks.

You spend it on clothes, eat out, etc. As long as you're happy with it, that's good. But if not, stop being wasteful with your hard earned money.

kids nowadays are all about flexing on social media spending on lavish lifestyle even when they are still beginning my advice to most would be to save first and get into investing don’t let the flow of money go out find ways for your money to come back to you

the problem is that they receive their first paycheck and they purchase unnecessary items already like the latest phone, expensive clothes, eat in expensive restaurants

don’t do this if you want to be financially responsible
Perhaps you are referring to young people?
those who have just started working for the first time after graduating from college or high school. And I think it is quite common to see these young people using their first salary to buy things they want to celebrate and motivate themselves to work better and harder. I think it's okay to use your first salary for whatever you want as long as it has a positive impact on you. However, don't do the same thing with your second and subsequent salaries. Because that will become a habit that will prevent you from controlling your own finances.

Saving is important, but appreciating yourself for what you have achieved is also very important to keep yourself motivated in working in the future. Buying a new cellphone, new clothes, or something you want as soon as you get your first salary will not make you financially irresponsible, on the contrary, it means you respect yourself, then on your next salary you can start saving (and investing if your salary is still enough). The most important thing is that being financially responsible is about how you manage your finances in the long term - occasionally buying yourself something will not destroy your financial condition, as long as it is still in accordance with your ability.

Most people in the current generation, if they have money, are desperate to live a luxurious life. When a person gets his first salary in his life after seeing the lifestyle of various luxurious people on social media, he tries to live at that level. Basically, I think it is not about trying to live like others, but rather strengthening your own position and gradually increasing your financial savings.
If you have financial savings, it is possible to reach a good position in the future, especially through investment, so all these luxurious lives can be done later if your financial position can be improved. Spending money with that money through your own control without buying unnecessary things is definitely the most important thing to do to stabilize yourself financially. Saving some amount of money from your salary gradually and investing it later will be the best way.

And here we have it:
A signature campaign cheater and multi-account farmer telling us about being responsible and giving advice!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5564433

I wonder how some pieces of shit find the courage and the nerve after lying and cheating to give moral advice on how to do things to others, like they are the Virgin Mary!

You just put another nail to his coffin on his hypocrisy. I hope people would realise that before commenting to the person who's credibility is very questionable and giving advice.
These kind of people always have the nerve to be as hypocrite as they can to deceive other people for their own hidden agendas.

I don't know what this person is thinking, because kids goes to school not earn paychecks, lol.

Everyone has the right to do whatsoever pleases him with his money, if he legit got the funds through sweat, no reasonable person will go all out spending it anyhow considering that it doesn't always come on a platter of gold.

The young ones that doesn't have so much responsibility are prone to spending recklessly but still, there are some that are far more meticulous in there spending than the aged ones who even have a lot of responsibility. Reckless spending is not just dependent on age, some factors like how much of a financially prodent person you are also affects the way you go about spending the your money...

First of all, learn to use punctuations in the right places to make your post more easily understandable by readers.

And now back to what you talked about, kids (to the best of my knowledge) do not make money, kids are children and children don't work, they are either or should be in school learning and not working.
And what parents in their right senses will allow their kids access to smart mobile device, let alone allowing them access to the internet?

Maybe "kids" wasn't the right word you intended using, maybe you meant teenagers and young adults, which if this is the case, then you are right, but first paycheck isn't different from other paychecks that will follow, he who wastes his first paycheck will likely waste other paychecks as well, so this shouldn't be about first paycheck but about paychecks in general.

Kids or teenagers spending lavishly and thinking only about the flashy things in life? Most of us have all gone through that part and we should remember how hard it was to advise us, kids don't listen to advice so I choose to let them be and allow them learn a few life's lessons on their own and then give them advice when they decide to come back to their senses after they might have made a few mistakes. Kids will always be kids and even my own kids at home after a few warnings from me to them I leave them and allow them to make mistakes and then learn from it , sometimes we need to leave these kids alone to experience life any way they choose.

Kids earnings should be managed under the strict watch of their parents, I like the idea of kids earning, I even enrolled my nephew who is just 11 under a crafstman to learn a skill and he makes peanuts at the moment but their use of those funds should be heavily guarded lest they get financially irresponsible.

I doubt that kids would do this, maybe you can say teenagers and I would agree since peer pressure have heavy effect on them these days

the problem is that they receive their first paycheck and they purchase unnecessary items already like the latest phone, expensive clothes, eat in expensive restaurants

don’t do this if you want to be financially responsible

Kids you said? Well I have never seen any kids flexing in social media those you think they are kids are teenagers (youth) and you are right the manner at which most teenagers are lavishing money is very bad, sometimes I keep asking myself that do they even realize the strength and effort it takes to make those money that they can't think of spending it into something that is more important? Or maybe they don't undergo stress which is why they spend it without looking back, but the earlier they realize what they are supposed to do with those money the better for them.

the problem is that they receive their first paycheck and they purchase unnecessary items already like the latest phone, expensive clothes, eat in expensive restaurants

I strongly agreed with your point about the usage of money. The reason is that every individual has the right to make decisions about the usage of money which he had earn. We observed that many young individuals usually used their money freely and don't focoused on investing and saving but on the other hand also many young individuals focoused on future investing and making planes about the best usage of wealth even they better perform than the individuals that may older than. So its clear that reckless spending is not Connected with age it links with mindsets. As we know financial stability comes with positive mindset, discipline and long term patience. So the learning point is that when we recognized how can difficult to make money so we aware to spend it recklessly and manage it with great carefully.

the problem is that they receive their first paycheck and they purchase unnecessary items already like the latest phone, expensive clothes, eat in expensive restaurants

don’t do this if you want to be financially responsible

Those kids, do you know them specifically and conclude the lavish lifestyle was from their pay cheque? I don't think a kid that works hard for their hard earned money will spend their money lavishly. Most often, it's their parents money they flex; some don't work. All they do is give their rich parents one or two lies, and they get funded. When the money enters, social media is their next place to flex because that's where people like to post lies and deceive each other about things they don't do. I believe that's where you saw a tag and assumed they worked for their money and decided to lavishly spend it.

It's best you let kids on the internet do what they want; it's not in your line of duty to financially discipline another person's child. If the parents are responsible enough to know what best for their kids, they will correct them

Just to point out another angle, some kids are very good at scamming. I was watching one video about 3 teenagers arrested by the police; they stole a car, and unfortunately they suck at driving, and the police caught them. They were arrested, and the next thing, one was crying and calling for his mama to come help him. If they get away with that car, they will definitely sell it cheap and squander the money.

Perhaps they are children of wealthy parents who are pretending to be poor by working. Their first salaries are spent on unnecessary items and eating at expensive restaurants, if that is what is meant by children.
A better term would be workers to reflect that they work and earn a salary. They still don't understand how to be responsible for their financial lives, even though they often post quotes on social media or are still in a mindset of wanting to appear to have what is currently trending.

it is not really my concern how people decide to spend their money after all they earned it themselves without my input, even though some of them took shortcuts to get it. but for someone working letimately it makes no sense to receive your first pay cheque and spend lavishly especially if it is your first time to earn such an amount of money. it is important to start up investments than over spendomg

Do kids work? I don't even think they spend on lavish lifestyle without getting funded by their parents and any parent who can afford a lavish lifestyle for their kids has already done their investment home work which means  there might be little or nothing to bother about maybe if there be any it should rather be maintaining the flow or adding to it.

As someone who has been with my wife since we were young, during my first paycheck we were dating and I got something for her, and I saved money for her as well. It's clear that for me my entire adult life has been spending for our family and for making us have a better life. It is not that easy but we can make it work and I think that is the most important thing in a marriage.

We both earn, and we both spend it on things that will make our life better. While it's true sometimes we do waste money on unnecessary things, that's a rare occasion and rarer these days, most of the time it is for paying off debt and living a better life and investing together for a future that will be a lot brighter than our past has been.

I think blow first salary for anything we like can not be claimed that a person have poor financial literacy as long as it does not become a habit for next month and be done by conciousness and full calculation. In my family and my country first salary is emotional moment when kids which usually depend on their parent can earn money which a symbol of maturity and self reliance also validate our long term effort of study hard. Usually we dedicated 100% of our salary to our parent as small gratitude/respect for their love, care and sacrifice.

Shopping is not the biggest mistake, learn from my past biggest mistake is my negiglent or ignorance to build good financial habit. If on your second salary you can spare moeny for saving, still don't have consumtive debt and discipline to record your cashflow, you're doing good.

It should be like that, but we can already see this phenomenon in the current environment and personally, I can avoid it because of the financial lessons that have been implemented by my family in the past, so I remember when I got my first salary, I used it for savings at the beginning and I preferred that compared to buying unimportant things such as a new cellphone which is only useful for style.
