How to recognize crypto fraud, some simple signs.

It's not funny, mate. Anyone can lose a hefty amount of money if they do not pay enough attention when they are dealing with their crypto wallet. I got tricked myself a year ago, as I said multiple times before. I was doing airdrop at that time and I received an email, which seemed like game from a platform called Galxy or whatever it was, I thought I really had some unclaimed bonus. I clicked on the link, connected my wallet and boom. The problem is, I did not checked the URL carefully, nor did I check the sender email carefully. It was because I was careless and did not paid any attention to the details of the sender informations.

Wallet connection with third party sites is one thing I apply extreme caution when doing. You can’t even find me connecting my main wallet where I have hefty amount of money to any third party site, especially when they’re not a popularly known DEX, even with some DEX id still feel a bit skeptical and hesitant about doing it. Maybe because I’ve also learned the hard way too. A few years back, my cousin told me about this coin that was doing so well, I think the name of the coin was DRIP, I sent him a huge amount of money to his wallet without realizing he had previously connected that wallet to a scam site and immediately the money entered, it disappeared just as fast as it entered, and from then, I’ve been super careful with connecting my wallet.

What transactional relationship are you keeping with someone you barely know, randomly from the internet? There are smart scammers, but there are also those who know better by avoiding any link up that will initiate dialogue between you and the scammer.

Avoid any help from someone you barely know from the internet, don't click or download random links, etc. The rules are simple, yet some don't follow and end up becoming victims.

If a scammer claims to be so smart, then you should let him know you are also smarter. No matter how smart a scammer is, there are still some things they will do that will make it so obvious that they are scammer. They are also developing new strategies for scamming people, and they need to be informed about all of these things because knowledge can protect you from these boys, who are becoming a problem in society. People need to take issues like this more seriously because these scammers are not even trying to help; they need to be more curious to do research and learn how things like this can be avoided because there is no way they can be avoided.  This information is necessary so that you can identify whether anything is a fraud or not. And the internet contains a lot of information and this is the only thing that we need to work with, that information is what will help us to be able to be free from all this kind of things, now we know.

Bro, anyone would be cautious connecting their wallet to a website that is not known or visiting for the first time. But the problem is, there are phishing websites that pretend to be popular Dex or even other popular websites. I was doing some airdrops at that time, and Galxe was one of the popular airdrop hubs for crypto airdrop. So I really thought that I do have some unclaimed reward on that website and I connected my wallet on a phishing website an it drained my wallet within a couple of seconds. Later, I checked the URL and the email carefully and understand that the it was a phishing website.

Why not at first, to start with avoid entertaining all messages on social networks to save yourself from the hands of scammers. You know when you give a scammer a listening ear, they will find means to scam you, to tell you the things that will be too good to be true.

God doesn't save those who don't learn to save themselves. There are things we ourselves should learn to do on our own side, and God will do the remainder for us. We are certainly connected to Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram or other social media, but here too we have to use these social media with sufficient caution.  From real experience, I am trying to discuss several things below that can initially be assumed to be a scam.

It's crucial in the crypto world to be careful in everything especially when it comes to wallet security as scammers are now very sophisticated and can be very astute in seeking out victims using various methods.

This has been discussed so many times that you can't even keep a count, and to be honest, it's useless to discuss something when you know that it's not actually going to have much of an effect because those who usually fall into such traps usually are not found in such forums or places where such information is shared, because they are usually people who only use social media platforms and messaging apps only to communicate with people they know, and the reason why they fall for such scams is because they don't know much about these things in general, and that's because they have never been smart enough to gain knowledge before doing something.

I could flashed back then when I wrote a query on one telegram group regarding my deposit wasn't able to arrived since I initiated withdrawal to be surprised, the admin has never responded to me or chat me up what I saw was people sending me private messaging seeking to help me out, and already I am aware of how they operates and how they does, then the admin responded to me and saying I shouldn't respond to anyone sending me message that they would never solve my problems privately neither would send private messages.

what's it's that is the poor that always fall for scammers, to be it's because the poor always want to get easy from shot cut, they don't like to be dedicated or be patient, they want to be rich by all means possible, scammers always target the poor that's willing to get rich through quick means.

There is not cut short to riches, you must pay price , if you have been in this forum for long and you're still falling from scam then your have meant nothing from this forum, as you listed, don't chat with a stranger on this forum it was not created to be a chat forum, but where ideas are shared in the open.  Anyone chatting you to come and invest in your private inbox is a scammer and should be reported immediately. We must be guided and never to lose any dime to scammers this year.

I constantly receive two types of notifications on my Gmail and Facebook (and sometimes, by the way, on Telegram). These notifications and emails say that it's "time to update my Ledger." And to do this, I have to click a special button included in the email. Of course, this is a very naive and ridiculous way to trick me into clicking a link. The next method is a stupid message about subscribing to a group that will teach me how to invest. "A closed community of professional traders." And when this happens, I literally laugh.
