I do not mind whether the game is the platform's original or a third-party slot game.  I do not find any difference between these slot games except that the platform original has the gambling company logo in it.

I play both the third-party slots game and casino-owned slots and the experience is the same, the chance of winning is the same and the bet size is almost identical. In short, we can't really tell the difference.

The difference is in the choice of where a gambler decides to play their slots games because while there may not be real much disparity, a constant and consistent slot player would be able to know which gambling service suits their pattern and skills and offer the best rewards and bonuses.
I don't really play slots so Incase I decided to, I may have to settle for the more common platforms and work my way through to know which is more adapt and suits my style of play and it won't matter if it's from a third party slot game provider or a casino owned slot provider.

Personally i prefer third party providers, even though casinos often offer lower edge. My reasoning is that casino's own house games (except for sports betting) are quite boring and it's rare to see any games that are visually so stimulating, that they could beat all the work that third party providers have done to build their games.

When I first go to a casino the fist games I try out are the “originals” I would play those ones first before I finally switch to those of the third parties, and I do this not because I’m looking or trying to see if there are signs of rigging or anything but simply because I’m trying to see which of them I enjoy the most.

Isn’t it possible for the casino to talk to them and make them tweak the system for them, so it will favour them a bit? I've only played slot games from the casino itself once and that was in demo mode, but in terms of convenience and excellence I don't think there is any difference at all with third providers. The problem with the casino-based games is that they are played just there!
This means, unlike games from Pragmatic and the rest, all the RTP is calculated on the site, it's not a global playerbase, it's a limited thing to a single casino and it's volume  so:
- lesser chance of a real audit
- RTP rates might get "adjusted" for just a few hours, then turned back without anyone knowing
