Well, I don't see the authenticity of this incidence because Mayweather has not come out to make an official statement that he is bankrupt or broke but these are just mere media speculations to gather engagements from fans. I saw in a post that Mayweather has denied all claims against him as he only took out a financial debt worth millions with some assets as collateral for business purposes but he's still doing great.

But if he was to come back for a fight after retirement, I think he would go for an easy win considering his age and the fact that he's being out of professional boxing for years now. If it would be a fixed match, I think it would be very possible to see him go up against a celebrity influencer just like we say with Joshua and Jake Paul. They could be a number of names but to keep up his name, I think it's best to go with a champion like Mike Tyson, even a loss would not affect his career statistics as it's an exhibition match.

Mayweather and being bankrupt? That is hard to believe. I cant imagine how and where he would have spent all his money to be broke. He has been always a person who loves to show off, but also be a greedy person.

However, if he was really in need of money, he dont have to fight anyone among 4 in first post. He can make an exhibition fight and earn more than top boxers get paid in professional fights. Make an easy fight in UAE or Asia, as those guy pay well, and return to being rich again

I don't know how realistic it can be that Floyd Mayweather, is going broke, the guy is very rich and I don't think that he is near bankruptcy, some people will spread fake news about a celebrity to gain relevance. Let us assume that Mayweather, is going bankrupt and he needs an opponent to fight for the money, if he were to pick among the guys in the OP my best guess is Manny Pacquiao. They have an unfinished business, the fight that they had years ago many people thought that a rematch should follow but it never happened. It'll be good to have the two old timers to have a go at it again, I know that I'll be happy to weigh my options and bet on such a fight.

It is like these people abuse their wealth, thinking it is unlimited and their career is forever. I don't know if it is really the boxer is the one that picks up their opponent, but it is possible that he will not pick Pacman because he can also think that his win last time is something that he doesn't really deserve. And see? Even a rematch didn't happen after a long time too.

There must be a money prepared already even before the match starts but the winner must go home with more money. However, we don't know, maybe Mayweather is also ambitious and values title more, more than money.

Among the list, if the need is urgent, I think Manny Pacquiao will give him the money he needs.  Jake Paul should be the one give him possibly the most money but Jake Paul is out of scenario for now due to the injury he had during his fight against AJ.

Realistically, Jake Paul or Manny Pacquiao makes the most sense because they guarantee massive attention and money without Floyd taking serious damage. With those 4 that you shared, Jake Paul is the best one. He's more popular, he's active, and while Canelo is still active still, I don't think that Canelo will try and fight him again after losing to him in their first fight.

He can fight Pacquiao as well for an exhibition fight only if Pacquiao wants it as well. I mean if it's all about the money then both of them might fight as long as they both agree with the terms. I don't think that McGregor can still fight right now. It's been a while since we saw him fighting in the Octagon, so I don't think that his body is suitable to fight in a boxing ring as well. Jake Paul is the most plausible one for me, but it might took a while after that injury that he took against Joshua. Money-wise, Paul is the better choice on this one.

Aside from the 4 of them, I don't think that there's anybody that he can fight for an exhibition match. Crawford? Or he can just come back to boxing just like what Pacquiao did and go for a title fight. That is if his body is still in shape and if he can afford to lose his unbeatable record.

In the recent past, Conor McGregor used to be a guy everyone wants to fight against and earn. Now he has been announcing his return and fights in MMA for like last 2-3 years. I dont think that a lot of people will be interested in seeing him fighting. As an exhibition or a joke fight, maybe. But as a serious fight, as a serious opponent? Besides they already fought. Floyd is almost 50, fight against junky or alcoholic. Is that worth watching? Jake Paul is out from business for a long time. Rematch against Pacman - it should be done long time ago, when both were in prime. Canelo I think wont agree, but instead challenge someone from top and in peak form.

All of them is good figures to fight and sure that he can earn lots of money with them.

If he choose Pacquaio this will draw lots of interest since fans really think that they have unfinished business to deal with, this fight is provably huge success for both of them.

If he choose Jake Paul still he can earn huge money with their fight and this is the easiest opponent for him since he can secure his victory easily. They can sell the idea about youtuber fighting a boxing star Mayweather.

If he choose McGregor its proven that this can be a money making machine for both of them, since McGregor and Mayweather influence can attract lots of fans so for sure this will be successful fight if Mayweather choose this option.
