Electrum mobile should adapt to the new fees.

Yeah of recent there was a workaround in the bitcoin network that actually has allowed fees to be cheaper for quite a while now and I noticed this when I was constantly getting my transactions confirmed at 1 sat per vbyte in just a couple of minutes. Anyways that being said, Electrum mobile seems kinda behind in a couple of things from fees to bulk broadcast and by bulk broadcast I mean sending to multiple addresses via a single transaction.

Well I know a few wallets that have these features already but I'm an Electrum lover...  so I'm pretty much waiting for when fees are fully flexible on mobile not just that slider.

You are right, I prefer Electrum on computer.

Let us see how the next update will be, it will be a major update.

The fee slider can be flexible in a way that it can give 0.1,....1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3... sat/vbyte. There are wallets that the fee slider are very flexible. Although, being able to input the fee rate will be very good.

My point is that yes, Electrum for mobile should add ASAP support for lower fees it would most probably be easy to do that change), but it's - by far - not the only thing that app is missing. Sadly.

One of the changes is allowing you to manually edit your fee to as low as 0.1 sat/vByte.

I meant on other wallets, not on mobile Electrum. Definitely the static fee on mobile Electrum starts from 1, 2, 5 and so on. I am referring to wallet like Samourai mobile wallet and Sparrow desktop wallet, that it is also very possible on Electrum mobile if Electrum developers really want something like that. I would not have mentioned other wallets if I was referring to mobile Electrum.

Of course I love Electrum but sadly the fee problem is becoming a hassle because that slider isn't as efficient enough based off the current fee rate and no matter how much you slider you can't get below a sat per vbyte. That aside many other features are missing. If I'll rate another wallet next it's gotta be cake.

No. I've checked and explored almost all settings on Electrum mobile and sadly it's not possible. Least you could get from even the ETA option is still a sat per vbyte.

Do you mean sub-1 sat/vB transaction fee?
If so, allowing 0.1sat/vB+ in the manual fee rate text field is already implemented in the latest master branch (not release binary) but the slider remains limited to 1sat/vB.
As for mobile specifically, it'll soon be able to manually edit fee as well once this PR is merged:qml: allow manual editing of fee/feerate

But since a typical Electrum user uses public Electrum servers, it still depends on the selected server if the sub-1sat/vB fee rate transaction will work.

And end-users will only see it in the subsequent release version after the PR are merged.

If you need a mobile wallet that allows you to pay less than 1 sat/vByte when sending bitcoin, you can try with Blue Wallet. It supports sub 1 sat/vByte transactions for some time already and it's got better coin control options. You just have to ensure that you are connected to a node that allows you to make such transactions.
