Memecoins are becoming weak!! Something is coming

I don't support or buy memes, but they are here to stay as long as Elon supports Doge. There will be a meme cycle because investors like to take risks, and many have proven there is money to be made in memes, provided you know how it works.
And about that new trend coming, are AIs already making waves in the space?

This is why the cryptocurrency market is exciting: investors are not closing their doors to promising new trends, as they want to profit from them.

Nothing is coming, memecoins have always been shitcoins, Elon Musk started a rush with dogecoin one point, mentioned some others, and even so much so that he sometimes did not even mention any coin and people created tokens out of what he tweeted to get pumps and dumps. That was it, that was a whole gold rush for a moment and then it was over.

And just like with any gold rush ,the guys who sold the shovels made more than the people who actually mined. And this is why it's done now and not getting up. What did people expected, "memes" to actually have any real value? Even on day 1, any memecoin that was created was created so that the creator would get rich and the investors would lose their money and it would crash eventually.

From the few years that I have been in Bitcointalk I have realized that after some years there is always a revolution that comes in the crypto space, that revolution is something I’m still trying to figure out what’s next, like during the time where Memecoins came in the space, we had utility altcoins mostly booming until Memecoins did crazy but now Memecoins seems to be getting weak in performance, new Memecoins created do not get the hype anymore and don’t get attention like before, so it poisons me to ask that are we back to the revolution stage where something else is coming into the space, NFT did its own thing and left Memecoins is almost done if not done, so what is getting attention next? If we can get this information right, then we would probably grab the opportunity to dive into the new thing early and benefit from it before it goes like others do go.

This is why bitcoin is unique as it wasn't build to last for within a particular period and season. I remember when memecoins first got into the crypto market it was like a new alternative for bitcoin replacement, and with some of the memecoins reaching an impressive market cap at the time it made a good attraction from crypto investors but many of these coins developers didn't disappoint in showcasing their intent with lots of rug pulls.

And that was how the hypes started falling and others got affected as people started realising the risks involved with memecoins there by causing quick dumps and a large number of these coins haven't being able to recover till present day. I don't know what may come next, but I don't think it would be anything like bitcoin.

Nothing I the crypto space would ever come close to bitcoin that’s the fact but this altcoins were really supposed to be born to prove the fact that bitcoin is nothing like those pump and dump shits, however like I said the rug pull for all the stuff that came in the space were born because people who hard insider information needed something to use as distractions for those who have no clear idea or vision of bitcoin. So this just meant that we needed to make some good decisions by getting into bitcoin and just mess around with Memecoins and other stuffs but it’s crazy how the caps showed that they were going to do well in future but the future is now and they are no where to be found. The weakness is the lack of utility that Memecoins has.

Meme coin is still exist even you can see them at dexscreener the market cap still large and sometimes i did trade for meme coin indeed for long term meme coin is not recommended even mostly the traders only look for short term profit in meme coin unlike other altcoin or bitcoin if you have the ability to search good meme coin then it's easy to gets 20% - 30% profit within minutes so, that's why some traders are still focused on meme coin and i think meme coin won't lost the interest because the reason which i mentioned above even for next several years not impossible we will found the next Doge or the next Shiba inu

Best not to invest on it since as what you have said and I agree with that. Those memecoins are just created for the devs benefit, since the main target of those creator is to became rich easily then repeat those create then dump those memecoins they owned.

Memecoin is getting weaker even in some chains, especially in solana, which has experienced a considerable decline, the hunter has decreased, and there are influencers who say that memecoin hunters are now reaching out, they no longer play there much, or you can say the market is divided, and this is what makes memecoin no longer interesting.
He said the memecoins hunters had moved to the prediction market where they gambled, because basically in meme coins they also gambled, they just switched places.

I haven't seen any more potential, maybe you need to have more data to analyze and be able to refer to the expected probability, but it's better not to hope for the memcoin market.

Not investing into memes are the common norm now, it is not a big deal. Not investing into them in 2021 was an achievement, not a lot of people did that, and if you did not invested back then and now can say that you are staying away from them, that's the real success.

Many people realized that memecoins are dangerous hypes and pump/dumps and they are staying away from them now, which is good and I support it and think that's the way it should be going thinking how it is not good at all.

Memecoins have always been a thing, it was never a revolution. They just grew on the side of rest of the coins. At first they just weren't called memecoins, but coins with different themes, like famous people, places, activities, animals or a phenomena. Pretty much every theme was exploited to cashing out with the coin.

And that never goes away. Same things come over and over just like same scams rotate when new people get aboard.

And occasionally some new protocol comes along and sticks along. Like NFTs aren't going anywhere, they might fluctuate in price and never go to insane heights (as money laundering is riskier these days with them), but they will never die away. They might change their form to something else, even if the underlying tech would stay relatively same.

I don’t know if anything new is coming up or not, but you should know that with time memecoins hype is just going to die down which is what is happening already right now. Most of this memecoins have no use case, they are just pumped and dumped, if you are lucky to invest early before it pumps, you going to be making money, and if you are unlucky and you bought late, people that bought early are going to dump on you.

Most of this memecoins entering the market now are just owned by scammers, they pay all this influencers to promote their coin for them, and after getting the attention which they need, they just going to dump it on people, and they will move ahead to create another coin and repeat the same thing. Memecoins have no use case, so I know it’s not really going to stay long in the crypto space.

It's definitely not meme coins next, though I shouldn't make any definitive statements; nobody knows what will happen. But I think the next hype will definitely be in another category. Maybe it will start with AI, or maybe something else you wouldn't expect. Some meme coins will get attention, but I don't think newly minted ones will get much attention anymore.

Although meme coins still have a large market capitalization, I currently believe they have reached saturation point. People are no longer showing much interest in them. The number of scams, new projects that become rug pulls, and the ease of creating a meme project have drastically decreased interest. In the past, one of the attractive things about meme coins was the massive hype that drove their prices up dramatically in a short time, such as Doge and Shiba. After that, there were still some good projects like Pepe, Floki, and Bonk. However, since then, the hype has waned. Many new projects have been created to scam people. People have become very wary of meme coins because they lack fundamentals.

Its called meta rotation atleast that's what airdroper said like that. Memecon is becoming weak because a lot of people get rekt from it and I one of them haha. Is something really coming? I dont think so since I do believe we are in the bear market season and need to wait for another 2-3 Years and find something new. NFT, Play2Earn, metaverse and now memecoin is already falling apart.

Next hype maybe have something to do with AI since this one become narrative and token like TAO is crazy right now
