Smoking in front of your children, right or wrong?

I totally agree with this, even though I'm a smoker as well but I'm an adult. If I ever made any children I would be careful not to smoke around them. So definitely 100% agree with you.

What if you are from a country that is very cold and smoking is not seen as bad thing to do, will you still smoke in front of your parents or you will not, in some places smoking is seen as something very important in the body and to them smoking in front of your parent or anywhere is not seen as something bad, we should understand this and not try to generalize smoking in front of your parent as a bad thing, it could be bad in your country or in your society but it could be also good in other people's country or their society, some tradition may say eating in front of your parent is bad and they observe it that is for their society and their way of life not for everyone.

We are condemning smoking in front of children in this thread and not parents. If you are an adult, then you can do whatever you want and live with the consequences and no one disturbs you. When it comes of great concern is when it has to do with tender children, those whom their organs are still tender and developing, I'll quote myself

Yes they will if they finds pleasure in doing it because know one will ever get himself involved in what doesn't gives him pleasure.  I am a proud father of two children a boy and a girl, I once had sex while my male child was awake, although it was not once. One day I came back to meet my son on top of her kid sister thesame way he saw me untop of his mother, then i called him adviced him and never tried it again till today.  Same also happened each time I sit at my sitting room smoking and leaving the remnant in my dust plate, on coming back from work one day I saw my daughter playing with the remnant I left in her hands the same way I do hold it, then I stopped and advised them. Not that they will start immediately  but with time it will get to there memories and they start practicing it because they know there father can't disappoint them  so that may get into there head and start practicing the same.

You say that children learn from what they see. Have you ever tried eating healthy food and doing sports in front of them, and then offer then spend time in gadgets and eat fast food? Do you think they will select what they say you doing? I really doubt that. Children dont copy-paste everything they see. They usually copy-paste what have impressed them. If you smoke in front of them while smiling and flexing muscles, they would think that smoking is cool and would wish to try smoking.

Umm, of course they do. If you take them to hobbies, they will participate. If you join and make a game from an exercise, they will join you, because majority of kids actually like to play with their parents.

And you don't just eat healthy on front of your kids and hope your kids would too, because you actually feed your kids. You are responsible of what they eat while they are kids, and you are also responsible to teach them how to cook themselves. If they can't, they are more likely going with easiest way and junk food with no nutritional value.

My dad never quit smoking in front of me and i turned out to be a smoker. I quit smoking on front of my kids to teach it's bad for you and that you can have control over your habits. They didn't turn out to be smokers.

But if they see some celebrity smoke, influencer or in game there is option to smoke, then they might get attracted with that.

And that's why we like to ban social media from these kids.

If their parents/guardians are such deadbeats that they don't want to spend time with their kids, they will turn to internet engagement farmers who see no profit giving them toxic, unsustainable and narrow values.

They aim to create army of hooked incel fans that will never leave, because they will never learn from them what confidence or love actually is.

Also, i gather that you don't have kids, as parents are supposed to do way more then be front of them as an example and keep them alive. They pay attention if you are actually parenting them.
