Here is the rule no: 25

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.

Now consider a scenario:
1. Buy a Jr.member account (the cheapest one).

2. Use a hero or legendary member's old legacy address in games and rounds or in some giveaway.

3. Then, wait to be reported as known alt accounts.

4. After confirmed for alt account, do a copy-paste to get perma ban. (easy as 1,2,3..)

5. After ban of Jr.member, now wait for reporting of ban evasion to ban that legendary member to accomplish a mission.

If Jr member posts the same address later, this doesn’t prove anything at all.
The scenario you presented doesn’t prove the later account is alt account of other.

You're missing something: A simple copy and paste of Bitcoin addresses or few onchain transactions off forum does not always indicate real connections - rule No.25 is applied on a case-by-case basis, and mods look into things thoroughly before taking action.

Do you want to create this scenario? while you ask here first before deciding to buy an account, while waiting for confirmation from many DT members. Cases like the one you mentioned are not as easy as you think.
You hate nutildah for example, then you make a scenario like you say. I'm sure before nutildah was reported, he must have immediately flagged the Jr account that pretended to be nutildah.

Hey... Why are you worried about the ban evasion? There are hundreds of people who were banned and they still own accounts here. I just believe some of these rules were made in the early days of the forum and they were effective then. If someone who is banned decides to return here and browse privately, who will know?

Just be honest and do your things. The forum does not frustrate anyone, unless you are being dishonest and cheating the system.

This is an impossible scenario because copy someone's address doesn't mean the two accounts are owned by the same person. Mods consider someone might will to frame a member reputation intentionally. There must be solid connection proofs between two accounts that they are owned by one person.

From another side, yes this rule isn't applicable in all cases. Detectives find proofs of confirmed connection between two or more accounts and one of them was banned for any reason, but mods don't act accordingly. Also in many cases, users return to forum after appealing for unban. The forum policy is flexible and not a holy text.

On a somewhat related note, I was hoping to get some other opinions on what people would think of the following ("hypothetical") situation:

Let's say one account (Bob) is connected to a ban-evading, -4 DT tagged account (Alice) through later use of the same address as the tagged account.

Bob claims Alice used his device to make an application post using Bob's information, which may or may not have been meant as a joke. Bob continues to use the address to receive campaign payments for a while, then stops.

Over 2 years later, the address is used again by a different red trusted account (Charlie) for campaign payments. There is on-forum evidence linking Charlie to Alice, which are thought to be part of the same account farm.

If this was all the information you had to work with, what would you guess are the chances that Bob is part of the account farm?

Try to check out the thread where ban evasions are reported. You will realize that not all reported accounts in that thread get banned. Why? Because sometimes the mods look for more information linking the accounts than is reported by the members.

It's not that simple for a forum moderator to process a ban evasion report. 
It doesn't matter if the account is a Junior Member or even a Hero Member; if the first account banned is a new account using address details or social media content from the account being reported/accused of breaking the rules, the evidence will be considered weak. Your report might be considered unhandled. 

You may need to look at this case as an example.

You can see that the account @fine99 has been banned. But the evidence shown indicates that the account @yudi09 used those social media details earlier than the banned account, as seen from the posting history. So you cannot use your method.

It reminds me of this:

At first I was surprised to see this photo, because one person wearing black used to be my customer he used to sell his Crypto in large quantities to me, because in 2017 I was an Official Partner of one of the Local Exchanges.
I also had time to ask about the photo, he said yes it was a long time ago I had retired from the forum, he said, I have given some accounts to friends as he added.

So my observation was that initially there was one person who had multiple accounts and then hired some people like in the photo, after the worker understood how to cheat, they workers started creating livestock accounts as well.
In some of the cases that I have already revealed the pattern is the same there are still people who practice such practices, evident in the confession of someone who claims that what I have revealed is mostly theirs, here. <= I am also sure that ABCbits and YOSHIE can verify and understand the chat text in the screenshot.

Yes, it should not be justified, these cheaters will always make excuses when, for example: account A is caught, then account A argues that it belongs to account B, When account B is also caught, they also argue that it belongs to account C. even though they are all account farming. As in the case I mentioned above.

You can try doing that, but be ready to proove ownership of that address by signing a message with your wallet... and there is no way you can do that.
I have seen examples in past when malicious members wanted to hurt someone else by doing that ''trick'' with addresses.
Using same address is not alwas enough to prove connection between accounts.

Stop buying accounts and stop creating new accounts. Then you will not have this problem.

The fact that the ban refers to the person behind an account is persistently ignored.
It doesn't matter whether a new account was purchased or created from zero, the person behind it is unwanted on the forum. Every return to the forum of such a person is a ban evasion.
