Nerdminer v1.8.23

Hello, i just bought a btc miner nerdminer v1.8.23.
I want to install it but it keeps searching voor the pool.
What can i do?

Sorry you bought that TOY miner.
Because it is a CPU miner it has a ridiculously low hash rate of around 75kH/s which these days is beyond useless even for solo lottery mining. The issue is that they are so slow most pools will refuse to even recognize them as they require a speed of at least 10GH/s before a miner will be accepted.

What pool are you trying to connect to? AFAIK, PublicPool (created by the same folks behind the nerdminer) is the only one they will work with.

do your self a favor throw it away and buy a more worthwhile piece of gear.

it is 74-75mh or 75 shovels

all of the above will likely not hit a block

but as compared to 75 mh your gear is flat out garbage.

This unit does not work on most well-known ASIC pools.
If this is for study purposes, you can try the public pool as suggested above, but if it still does not work, try other pools below that are built only for NerdMiner.
