As for the faucet, I have won many times. And there is nothing complicated that needs figuring out. Simply, every hour the SP logo would change to BTC and start glowing/pulsing, then you quickly click it, it'll take you to the faucet page. From there you can choose to keep the initial win [option A] or play a game [option B], that have 3 choices, with rewards up to 20x the initial or 0x busted. Have you played mine💣 games? It's somewhat like that.

I'm bad at maths. So I didn't realize these miscalculations.

Anyway, it would be better if you kept the github link intact somewhere in your site. All I could find was the store links. But what if someone manually wanted to install the extension!

OK, I’ve now understood the choices Vod has made.
I think I’ve also got the hang of how the faucet works, but I haven’t had a chance to see it in action yet.
So does it appear just once an hour, at a random minute between 00 and 59?
Or does it appear at the stroke of every hour?
I think the first option is more likely.

Btw, I noticed the BTC pulsing 3 times in one hour (it's probably because of me). I have like 20-25 tabs open. Some probably went into hibernation. And when I revisit those, I saw them pulsing for a brief moment, then disappearing completely. Some were clickable (showing You were DISQUALIFIED), while some were not.

Again saw it, 11.58 AM - it's the 4th time, and even won the faucet with 2x. Is everything all right?

Well yeah, last time I used it I decided to play the 1/3 card game at the bottom to reveal the multiplier I picked wrong, so it "busted" and I got no sats for that faucet session.

Also that's cool. Didn't know that. The faucet activating on a pulse is smart b/c there will always be at least one person there to see it.

I'll look into this tomorrow.   The logo only flashes for a few seconds, but if you have multiple tabs open the unfocused ones are paused (previous mobile bug).  When you focus again there must be a redis bug that initiates it even if the time has passed.   Still, if no one else has clicked, you can still win.    Ideally, your active tab should flash and all inactive tabs should have no clue anything even happened.

Cool, i already installed it and currently  using the pulse theme, it’s the default  for dark theme and doesn’t  look bad either.


The remaining  theme are all by selection here , it customisable but every part already have a fixed list that i have to select from. Is it possible you make it a way we can add our own hex values. Thank you!

It's called dark theme not pulse theme. By the way, what made you say adding our own HEX value is not allowed? I believe it's there.Just look veryyyyyy carefully. There is a small drop down button beside R G B. From there you can choose from RGB to HSL to HEX.

This 2nd question is confusing. There is no ranking up here. Keep using it and after using it for a while, you will be allowed to level up your pulse power. As for your username click the blue SP logo, and there you have the display name, which is your username. You can change it if you want.

Hey vod, I've found a problem!
I accidentally moved the Shadowpulse button downwards, but I did it with a bit too much force and the button slipped below the top of the smartphone screen – it's basically vanished into thin air, but the extension still works fine. The problem is, I can't get the button back now 

Best way is to disable/re enable the extension.     After it is approved I'll release an update to prevent it from accepting "too much force".  How about using the phone speaker to say "Chill out bro!"?   

The flash faucet is live and payouts are working!

Just started to use , Shadow Pulse button should stick on screen right? But in mobile browser , it sometimes goes down and vanishes from the screen . Unless I scroll back to upwards it's visible.

Maybe still has some bugs for mobile browsers. After using the forum so much time in light mode , dark mode ain't just sitting on my eyes.

Yeah I know it's  "dark theme" that's  the label name on mine too but it's not really dark per se,  the  dark theme preset has a bg-color of something like deep navy blue or close . Since  the  shadowpulse site itself uses something similar then calling  it "pulse theme" fits it .

However, the design is quite different on Firefox, it's only showing me fixed values that can't  be changed , that's  why I raised it so it can be fixed I'd possible unless it's  a browser thing.

I'm facing this too, are you using Firefox or Chrome?
I also noticed the styling for the button  is missing,  perhaps it doesn't work for Firefox browser and needs a work around .

I only received a bit of feedback, but it was clear.  The voting was confusing and the overlay was intrusive.

This is the final iteration of the ShadowPulse tool.   I will continue to improve, but the basic functionality will not change.

1.  The UI has been reduced.  It can be moved anywhere on screen, and the logo will indicate when someone pulses.  Graph and flash can be toggled.  Search has been passed off to the forum.

2.  If you find a quality post, click the +Pulse link - functional even if you are not logged in.  If you happen to be viewing a post when someone pulses it, you will see the effect.
When you pulse a post, the post, post author, topic and board each receive points equal to your power.   This is our primary method of spam control - your point power will increase as you use the system.

3.  Display names are random and not tied to creation date.

4.  The Reports Center has been revamped to be modern and filterable.  Numbers are updated in real time.

5.  The extension can be loaded on many browsers and I will submit the popular ones to the respective stores.

6.  The javascript is much simpler now, and anyone with programming experience can verify it's action - On a topic load, it grabs the board name and the topic name, then for each post it grabs the author and creates a +Pulse link with that information.   No other information is gathered.   I also detect one special page (bitcointalk search) and modify the HTML to give the user more options.  Tee extension does not active anywhere but this forum.

Sorry all, I was being threatened with my life if I did not apologize and drop my lawsuit against OgNasty for damaging malicious libel.   Now he's changed his tune and is going to counter sue instead of threats, or he may get it thrown out.  Who knows? Still thinking about his defence.  It's taken a toll on my sleeping which affects my programming, but I'm ready to start improving the tool again.

I'm going to be adding a 1 or 2 level referral structure to the tool.  Each referral will give you an additional faucet win multiplier.   Also going to look into advertising on BPIP.
Improvements to the theme customizer on Firefox (thx to DYING_S0UL)
Will add another toggle for the SP logo to stay visible on mobile (thx to MithiRM)
I'll update the installation page with better details and continue ti play with the front page report.

I also just found out that my CDN charges a minimum of $1 per month.   I'd like to get my money's worth so I need about 31GB of traffic on my front page. Thx all.
