I'm just thankful when I win or when I don't gamble too mich (by spending a lot of money on it). As a matter of fact, I even feel more lucky after winning back the money I lose (nothing beats that except direct winning streak).. Think of the situation whereby you just win the exact amount of money that you have lost while gambling then you understand what I'm talking about (not that I'm trying to chase my losses).

Yes, this happens ones a while to me when I gamble, mostly it occur to me that when am contemplating on the amount to stake a bet and the greedy mind in me will be telling me to increase it, while another one will saliently be warning for the risk of loss, but at last I do stake with small amount and after I lost then I realized the better I don't stake much.

The same thing should happen with gambling. When a person bets $1 and loses and then cries, that person should stop gambling immediately because they still don't know the real purpose of gambling, which is only fun and not a way to make a profit.

In retrospective, I have felt that sensation of being relieved of having been able to withdraw on time before I felt tempted to continue to gamble ans chase losses, it is always better to lose only five bucks than losing the enterity of one's deposit, but still one feels some regret on those buck one actually lost to one's bad luck and the casino.

I believe the healthiest thing one can do as a gambler is learning how to let money go and forget about one's deposit or losses. So one won't chase them nor one will think about them. If letting money go one does not enjoy gambling in the slightest, then simple gambling is not for one and one should search for other sources of entertainment.

That's a good question, actually. I guess one reason why I keep gambling, more or less, is that I have some extra funds that I want to turn into something significant. If I earn $80 by doing something, then I would gamble it and hope to make $200-300 and withdraw. However, I should indeed save them and accumulate. It would be way better than gambling. Perhaps there is some fun in gambling and that's the real reason, dunno.

I think it's the hope and memories of previous wins that make me want to gamble again. But hey, I'm not addicted and gambling with spare funds only, so it's all good. Yeah saving those lost funds would be better though, no doubt.

That feeling of winning back what you have already lost can feel even sweeter than a normal win, lol..   it is like balance has been restored..  As long as you are just keeping it light and not putting in money you can not  afford to lose, then it is just entertainment..

It will only get bad, when the feeling turns into one more round or trying to recreate that win. If you are conscious of your limits and you are even okay whether you win or lose small, then you are already doing good.

That is a personal dilemma that sometimes you seem to be awaken up by your own thoughts why you are still gambling when you're only losing so much money. There's a need of realization for a gambler for a gambler to stop. And only ourselves can answer that question when we're not profitable and only losing so much money. Do you think that we still have what it takes to continue gambling when we've lost so much already? like those intrusive thoughts and realization in our minds that have to be asked that way in order for us to have that wake up call.

When you are on a losing streak, it's better to stop gambling and call it a day because if you continue gambling chasing your losses, you might end of with an empty bankroll. Losses are inevitable, the only way to limit your losses is not to be greedy and aim big win.

If I'm on a losing streak from day to day. I go on a break for two weeks or more to shake out the bad luck.

Surely, going for a break when you're in a losing streak is very important. Because it will help you reduce the stress because losing usually come with stress that is why we need break. Well in my own case I don't usually wait to incur too many lose or exhaust my bankroll before going for a break rather I made a budget of the total number of bet I will be making every week and once I reach my limit I will just stop regardless of the outcome, so I don't wait to get my bankroll exhausted before going for a break.

Sounds like something specific that you are working trough, and these are questions for you, that you need to be honest about.

Maybe you are thinking out loud, or maybe you are genuinely asking because you need to work out the answer. If it's the latter, then other gamblers might not reflect to this in a way, that would that would benefit you. You might get answers that aren't suitable solutions for you, even if they sound like that, because everyone is in different situation in life, and everyone plays of their own reasons.
