Destiny, they say is our destination in life, designed by God, I believe so. Do you know that some people wouldn't have fulfilled this destiny without bitcoin and the kinds of friends they keep?

Here is a short story of some friends;

Make it make sense, it can only be bitcoin. I can count 7 people in my community that are friends and were either petty traders or low salary earning sales reps, but they are presently employers of labors. Not only that, they ride good cars, have good houses and live good lives. Do you know the secret? It's Bitcoin. I never knew this until recently, I thought they were into fraud, the wealth was sudden.

All, luckily unmarried at their early 20s got to know about bitcoin many years ago. They said they competed savings amongst themselves in bitcoin not minding their status of hunger, low life, bad cloths for 13 years and hardly sold any until 2024 and 2025.

Thanks to bitcoin. But this hits me harder about the kind of friends we keep. They could be friends of destiny or negative. Congratulations to them for keep the right friends.

Stories like this only make me miss the time I was still in the university, I wouldn't have missed the opportunities I missed in Bitcoin if I were still in the midst of my friends as a student. There's nothing  newly coming out globally then that we did not know and share, and it doesn't matter whether they would work or not, we still tried them. I would have amassed my stash of Bitcoin then as well, but after graduation, everyone has had different focuses, which hurts me whenever I think about it. Bitcoin was created a few years after our graduation.

Very possible, bitcoin has transformed lives and we cant denied that as fact, also, we have been helped in various ways by friends with several opportunities, which may come from being introduced to bitcoin and many others opportunities that may streams from our kind of friends we keep, it may just be through the help of a friend that can lead us to achieving our own dream in bitcoin, if we are with the right person willing to help out.

I think I would give this up to friends first because if you keep the wrong friends or financially derailed friends, even if you get into bitcoin they would talk you down, discourage you and you may end up as a former holder. I am talking from experience, I would have been very rich now but wrong friends happened to me.

I have my set of friends that are bitcoiners. I was introduced to bitcoin by one of them but didn't take it serious until I became a member of this forum. When you have friends with similar goals and work towards it together, it becomes a motivation to all and everyone will be committed to it.

I have introduced bitcoin to my younger brother and he's also accumulating whenever, he has spare cash. There's a say that 'show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are' knowing about bitcoin was the best thing that has happened in my life.

Some people are fatalists, while others believe in free will. Personally, I don't believe that having smart and energetic friends guarantees success. I believe in my own stupidity, which is always with me. 🙂 I know I can lose even in the most advantageous situations and miss the best chance. This has happened more than once. Unfortunately...

In 2014, my best friend told me about Bitcoin. I remember him sketching out a blockchain diagram on a napkin at a cafe. He even told me about colored Bitcoin coins (they were popular back then). Then I started thinking about buying Bitcoin. The idea stuck in my head for a long time.

When I told my girlfriend about Bitcoin (the question is, why did I do that?), her reaction was very harsh. She said I was a fool, and so was my friend.

As a result, I didn't buy Bitcoin in 2014, 2015, or 2016.  And I broke up with that girl. My friend bought Bitcoin and now he's rich and travels the world freely. He recently visited Kyoto, Japan.

Well we are all expecting great things but we have to put in effort if we are truly looking for financial success in our Bitcoin journey. That said I like to believe that as crypto enthusiasts, yes who we trust and spend our time with truly matters a lot especially when you all have a common goal Like basically, there will be competition, there will be consistency,because nobody wants to be left behind, there will be cooperation between themselves based on their self interest and common goal to be successful.well it's actually rare to find such friends you can trust. That's why for me I might not have friends who I can talk to about crypto related stuff / bitcoin .but I do have friends which we are all striving for financial success....


Overall easy to say the long term is all about patience and consistency because wealth isn't built overnight but over time. That's just it we should always choose the friends that we are close to, because most of them might have impact to you and some of them are just there to distract or discourage you in your journey....

Our environment essentially shapes who we are and who we can become. If the people around us study and use bitcoin, chances are that we will be involved in this field as well. However, to be honest, I wouldn’t openly talk to everyone about my investments, as I consider it unsafe. Still, people who strive to improve their lives and actually succeed motivate us to look for new opportunities too.

From your story of how bitcoin has elevated these people in living their best life, there was no record of what they were doing when they invested in bitcoin to make a good profit to get to the level where they are today.

 One thing I know is that bitcoin doesn't make one rich quickly; if you are earning, you invest in bitcoin, and there will be more money because of the profit that will be gained from bitcoin. It is impossible to be elevated financially in bitcoin when you have no good income; you can only make some bitcoin unless you are working online, where you are being paid in bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't make one rich overnight.

That's right. Not all friends in the circle have the same character in providing motivation. Some do it by challenging us, not in a negative way, but so that we can become better.
To this day, I am still in the circle of friends that I built in college. It's not because of Bitcoin and crypto, because none of them are interested in what I'm doing now, but they know that I'm in Bitcoin.
Some of them are now in government circles with different professions. Others are architects. Occasionally, we gather with our entire families.

It's a good thing that they saw potential in it very early and made use of whatever they had. So many of us were around when Bitcoin had a low value, but most of us didn't have funds to make any investments in it, at least I didn't. If I could do it at that time, my financial status and life would have been different than it is today, because I would surely have made good profits from my investments from that time if I was to hold until the recent all-time high, but the biggest challenge is to keep holding, everyone invest but only those who stay patient will be rewarded at the end.

The friends you are talking about were patient enough to keep holding throughout all those years where Bitcoin went up to $69k, and then went to $16k in the bear market after that, and so many people would sell immediately after they notice that the market is dropping after the previous all-time high at $69k, but those who didn't sell and kept holding through the bear market got rewarded in this bull run when Bitcoin doubled from its previous all-time high and went above $125k. So, it's all a game of patience at the end of the day.

Our destiny is designed by God; we can't tell what it will be like. It's as we grow and the type of friends we keep, the environment we live in, and the things we do all play a part in discovering the riches God planned for us.

Many individuals have found riches in Bitcoin investment, and many have been favored by their friends in the things they got them introduced to. One thng I love about Bitcoin is that delay in owning it earlier is not denial to own it now and you're still very early and in good position to own more of it. Which is why you ought to keep accumulating and as aggressive as you can so in the future you won't be among those who woukd say "I had a second chance to accumulate as much Bitcoins as possible but I snoozed on it". Also, I believe you should have a fair amount of Bitcoin you're holding and it's you've been in this forum long enough to know that holding is the key for a better profit in Bitcoin.

People might think these success stories are fiction. The truth is that Bitcoin has lifted many people out of poverty. Those who were fortunate to know Bitcoin at the beginning and took it seriously are now financially settled. I was introduced to Bitcoin many years ago, but I saw it as a scam. I thought it was a Ponzi scheme or a means of scamming me.

I have no regret today because Bitcoin is still in its early stages. There are still many people who are not yet doubting the opportunities that Bitcoin offers. So I count myself lucky because I am not late.

We should be surrounded with the type of people that inspire and motivate us to be better, not the ones that keep us to our old habits of self destruction. It might not be a big deal to you now but you will realize that your friends affect your lifestyle so much more than you realize.

I personally keep away from friends who talk badly of bitcoin because I don’t want my energy drained by them.

I just remembered the saying, that say birds of the same feathers flocks together which means

people with similar interests, personalities, or backgrounds naturally group and associate with each other

This is the reason why it is very good for us to keep friends that has the same mindset as we do, the same mindset that wants growth, not the type of friends that will always think of negative things or the type that doesn't care about growth.

The story of your friend is very motivating. It was not simple to start with a modest background, live with meager resources, sacrifice and be consistent throughout the years. In this tale, I think Bitcoin would be the engine that put your friend into the place he is in. I respect your friend because of the youthfulness that has not made her a consumerist and the courage to stand out of the crowd. I do concur with the fact that our friends make or break us even with our potential. However, keep in mind, though it is a fact that the secret of success of your friend is Bitcoin, do not forget that such secret is a mixture of sacrifice, time, and vision to make the success come.

Well, everyone loves success right? But not everyone is ready and willing to sacrifice for success. Even if you had the opportunity back then, would you have invested in Bitcoin? We all love to make stories sweet and regret certain actions that should have being taken rather than just being on the look out.

Behind their success, could be sleepless nights of consistent losses, tears that only lasted the night, and a heart that only grew stronger. Bitcoin investment is not a get-rich scheme, neither does it promise you instant profits or rewards. It's always the patient ones that would eat good from Bitcoin's investment, you can still make some good cash if you start investing now.

Interesting perspective.

I think what often gets overlooked isn’t Bitcoin itself, but timing + environment. Many people were exposed to the same information but only a few had the patience, community support or conviction to act and hold through uncertainty. In that sense, “destiny” might not be about luck but about who you surround yourself with when conviction is hardest.
