Interesting wallet. What do you mean by "USD Stablecoin Layer" ?? There is no tether in bitcoin blockchain. Is there any third party which is making a USDT token in bitcoin blockchain? by using some smartcontract or whatever? Please note that Tether is no longer issuing or obligated to redeem Tether Tokens on the Kusama, Bitcoin Cash SLP, Omni Layer, EOS and Algorand blockchains. For more information, please see Tether Provides Update on Transition Plan for Legacy Blockchains. https://tether.to/en/transparency/?tab=usdt

It seems like Playstore is delayed on publishing the official release, as of now, it's still at version 1.3.0 alpha. Or have you forgotten to push the latest release?
You might lower than average reviews if people use that alpha testing release, expecting the more polished initial release version and its new features.
@others Their GitHub repo has the latest release.

Good project. I don't recall a wallet that supports all L2 solutions.
Can I import my old bip-39 wallet, or will I need to create a new one? Are there any L2-to-L2 swaps?
Features like balance hiding and chain naming might be helpful additions to the wallet.
I'll download it and add more details.

Yes, your current BIP-39 seed should work fine - let us know if you have any issues. Swaps are constantly evolving and being improved; any specific requirements, let us know and we will try to bump it up the to-do list for you. (main focus for swaps atm is interaction with USD stablecoins) Balance hiding / multiple Currency display should be available in the next release

Are you planning to release desktop wallet version in future, or you only want to stick to mobile wallets? I don't plan on using all this layers but I am very familiar with Liquid network and I already use it in Aqua wallet. It would be interesting to compare swapping fees between Layerz and Aqua wallet, for BTC-Lightning-Liquid.

It is on the roadmap, yes, our Browser extension will be published this week, but we don't have a date for the desktop version. We are planning to focus resources based on user needs. ATM, we have 3rd party integrations, but working on our own swap orchestrator, which should reduce fees even more and add various utilities like private swaps amongst all layers etc

Its the same release, just got approved on android quicker, but yes point taken the version control & descriptions should be improved! It's showing as " v1.3.0" at my end, last updated on December 19. So it's not just the version number. Meanwhile, in your GitHub Repository's release page, there's " v1.3.1" which is uploaded 2days ago. Screenshots: I guess the latest version isn't approved by Google yet. So if I were to try the wallet's latest features ( and bug fixes), I'd use the release in GitHub.

Yes, we have drawn the team's attention to this discrepancy. iOS is v1.4.0, APK is v1.3.1 and Android v1.3.0 - all should be synched - working on it! Your initial thoughts on what we are building? What do you think of the UX/UI so far?

Your initial thoughts on what we are building? What do you think of the UX/UI so far? I'm interested in trying it out. But for now, I'll wait for more reviews and take a peek at the code ( which is quite a lot) before deciding. Personally, I don't need most of the features because aside from Lightning and on-chain, I don't use the rest of the layers. But the " layers feature" is a great idea since it covers most of the off-chain needs of bitcoin users.

I think web version is probably better option than browser extension, just look what happened with stupid trust wallet recently ATM, we have 3rd party integrations, but working on our own swap orchestrator, which should reduce fees even more and add various utilities like private swaps amongst all layers etc
I will try to manually compare fees with other wallets I have. It would be great to have non-custodial swaps, submarine swaps or something better.

LayerzWallet,
I noticed that version 1.4.0 does not install over version 1.3.0. Is this expected - do I need to uninstall 1.3.0 first?
In another thread I pointed out that Liquid network funds from the Aqua wallet cannot be imported into Layerz via the seed phrase. What about exporting in the opposite direction? Is it known which other wallets can access funds on different networks (Spark, Rootstock, Liquid, Ark) if I use the seed phrase from Layerz?
For example, will I see my satoshis on Ark if I enter the seed phrase into the arkade.money wallet? And does it matter which "pocket" they are in ("daily", "investment", "lifestyle" etc.)?

Have you installed v1.3.0 from Playstore but downloaded " layerz-wallet-v140.apk" from their GitHub release page or both from Playstore? Because the former wont work while the latter is an actual issue.

1. The best advice is to uninstall and Install 1.4.0 from the app stores or APK from Github (as there are different builds on v1.3.0 so might complicate simply updating 2. Outward compatibility works with most wallets using seed ie. Blockstream wallet for Liquid, Leather for Stacks etc etc. Inward should work too, but for example Aqua doesn't work as we don't use wrapped segwit ( address starts with the VJL ) we use native segwit ( address starts with lq1 ) (will be looking at resolving this specific issue in the near future). There shouldn't be a problem with any other networks that support seed phrases that we have come across but let us know if you find any. (ark wallet requires private key) 3. Not sure if there is a way to use Seed phrases on Arkade.money but BullBitcoin supports ark so you should be able to recover ARK with a seed on Bull 4. "Pockets" are simply the account number on HD path

LayerzWallet, thank you for the explanations. I installed version 1.4.0 from Play Market over version 1.3.0 from GitHub - everything worked. It is strange that version 1.4.0 from GitHub would not install before. As for the seed phrase, I have not tested Ark yet, but I tried importing into Layerz a seed phrase from the Blitz wallet, where I had a small amount of satoshis on Spark. Layerz does not see them. Will this be the case with any Spark wallets, or is this a compatibility issue specifically with the Blitz wallet?

can you provide details on blitz wallet version please. is it using the new spark address scheme? if you can send through the version we will test on our side but spark should be compatible across all wallets with the same seed.

I use Blitz Wallet Web ( https://wallet.blitz-wallet.com). But I don't understand address formats and don't know how to determine which address scheme Blitz uses for Spark. Spark addresses in Blitz Wallet and in Layerz Wallet visually seem to be in the same format: they start with spark1pgss and have the same length.

We have tried on our side, it seems Blitz use a proprietary approach as you are not able to import the seed created on Layerz via QR to blitz and then you are also not able to see spark tokens/balance on Layerz when the seed is created on Blitz. Have you tried using the Blitz created seed on any other wallets - if we can figure out the source of incompatibility, the team would be happy to investigate a solution to solve this
