-snip- - if we can figure out the source of incompatibility, the team would be happy to investigate a solution to solve this
This might help: Here's the Pull Request that implemented their plain text seed phrase to SeedQR format: github.com/BlitzWallet/blitz-web-app/pull/7You can refer to the linked issue for the documentary of the specs that they used. Their seed phrase ( mnemonic), on the other hand, is BIP39 standard.

Have you tried using the Blitz created seed on any other wallets - if we can figure out the source of incompatibility, the team would be happy to investigate a solution to solve this
I exported my seed phrase from Blitz to Xverse, and that wallet didn't see my Spark sats either. Good lord, seed phrases are so complicated! An Aqua seed phrase can't be used to access assets on the Liquid network. A Blitz seed phrase is useless for accessing assets on Spark. I'm even afraid to try exporting the seed phrase from my Lendasat wallet, where I have some sats in the Ark protocol.

Yeah its a minefield... part of the reason we built a wallet that accesses all the networks from one seed! ( There will always be a way to recover funds, but it will be different for different scenarios. ) Citrea mainnet should be available on Layerz as soon as the app store reviews are approved so there is another one for you to play with - we also have another highly anticopated layer and native swap experience due in the next week or so too!

Why not upload a new version of the app to GitHub so everyone can try it out without waiting for app store approval? And that new layer you're hinting at - is it by any chance RGB? I saw it on your roadmap and I'm curious which path you'll take for its implementation. As I recall, last summer RGB basically split into the original developers' version (0.12) and the investors' version (0.11.1), and they were completely incompatible. I haven't kept track of whether they managed to reach an agreement on a single standard, but I suspect not. If there are two standards, will you be adding both? And what about forks like RGB++?

I exported my seed phrase from Blitz to Xverse, and that wallet didn't see my Spark sats either. Today I installed Cake Wallet, imported the seed phrase from Blitz, selected the standard BIP-39 option when restoring the wallet, and Cake Wallet immediately detected my satoshis that are in the Spark protocol. So it turns out that it must be a standard BIP-39 seed phrase.

Introducing v1.4.4. - We’re shipping a new set of updates to make Layerz Wallet simpler, more useful, and more rewarding to use. This release focuses on three things: - A better transfers and swaps experience
- Support for Arkade tokens
- The ability to earn Bitcoin on your USDB balance
Better transfers and swapsWith this update we've introduced a new interface to swap and as well the ability to perform native swaps in the app. Transfers and swaps are now faster and smoother to complete. We’ve improved the overall flow so it takes less effort to move between assets and complete transactions with more confidence, cleaner error messages and a bigger success rate. The goal is straightforward: less friction, fewer confusing steps, and a cleaner experience when managing your money. Arkade tokens supportLayerz Wallet now supports Arkade tokens. This makes it easier to hold and manage Arkade ecosystem assets directly inside your wallet, without needing extra tools or workarounds. If you’re already using Arkade, this update gives you a more seamless way to interact with those tokens in one place. If there is a token you would like to see better support, contact us and let us know. Earn Bitcoin on your USDB balanceYou can now earn Bitcoin on your USDB balance. This gives your balance more utility while keeping the experience simple inside Layerz Wallet. Hold USDB, and start earning Bitcoin rewards directly through the wallet. No self-custody loss, no bridge trust, no counter-party risk. Just hodl and earn! It’s a simple way to put idle balances to work. Specially on your cash! Available nowThese features are now available on the latest versions. Try them out and let us know what you think.

I have a suggestion for improving the wallet.
Look: Layerz is designed as a wallet that brings together the entire Bitcoin ecosystem. But before it appeared, some users already had separate wallets for working with different parts of that ecosystem. For example, in my case:
* one wallet for on-chain transactions and Lightning, * another for Liquid, * a third for Spark, * a fourth for Ark, * a fifth for Rootstock.
And all of them have different seed phrases (where they exist at all). Because of this, I currently can't move the management of all my assets into Layerz, since it doesn't support combining multiple accounts with different seed phrases. It would be great to add such a feature.

Hey Intl, Thanks for sharing your setup - totally get it. A lot of long-time Bitcoiners (us too) end up with multiple seeds and separate wallets over the years for different purposes, UTXOs, or just extra security through separation. You're right: Layerz is designed around a **single seed** (standard BIP39 HD wallet). It generates all your on-chain addresses, Lightning channels, Ark vaults, etc. from that one seed + different derivation paths. Right now we don't support importing or managing multiple independent seeds in one app. The main benefit we're going for is simplicity: once everything is consolidated under one seed, you only have to back up and protect **one recovery phrase** instead of juggling many. Managing Lightning, Ark, and on-chain all becomes much smoother in a single interface. That said, the only way to bring your existing funds in would be to create a fresh Layerz wallet and send everything over (which does mean on-chain fees + the usual consolidation risks). Some people prefer to keep things separate for privacy or risk isolation, and that's completely valid. (you could also use the seed of the "most expensive to tx" layer and make that your main seed in Layerzwallet and then send the "other" l2s you alreadyhave on different seeds to that wallet) We're still early, so multiple seed support is something we've noted as potential future feedback. If enough users in your situation ask for it, it could move up the roadmap. If you have specific thoughts on how multiple seeds could best work in a unified layers wallet, we'd genuinely love to hear your ideas - this kind of real-user feedback is gold. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.

This is roughly how I imagine the interface. Right now the wallet has separate "Pockets" ("Daily", "Investment", etc.). They appear somewhat independent, but in reality they are all derived from the same seed phrase. Personally, I don't really see strong use cases for these Pockets in their current form. They would make much more sense to me if each Pocket were based on its own separate seed phrase. In that case, the unified wallet interface would be especially useful for moving funds between different Bitcoin layers across different Pockets. I also have a question regarding Ark. As I understand it, in the Ark protocol each VTXO has an expiration time, and it needs to be refreshed to prevent funds from automatically exiting to the base layer when it expires. However, I don't see any tools in the wallet to handle this. Could you explain why? Also, it seems like having an option to manually force an exit (i.e., publish the VTXO to the main chain) would be useful.

LayerzWallet, I have one more question about Ark (Arkade).
When I perform a transfer from L1 to Ark in the Layerz wallet, the wallet technically sends the sats to a Taproot address. From there, the funds are claimed by the Ark provider and credited to my Ark balance. I can see this Taproot address on the block explorer.
Are those Taproot addresses reusable? What if I send sats again to the same address? Will I see the second deposit on my Ark balance?

No, I don't see this feature in my app. How do I enable it? By the way, I installed the Layerz beta version from Google Play on my Samsung A17 phone today, and the wallet doesn't work at all. When I try to Run Self-test, I get a "Failed" message (Electrum server unavailable). Meanwhile, other wallets (Blitz, Lendasat, Noah) work fine on the same phone.

Is anyone here besides me using the Layerz wallet? If so, could you please tell me if your wallet is working today? Mine hasn't been syncing with the network all day, claiming that the Electrum server is unavailable. Of course, the wallet is convenient because it combines several L2 protocols at once. But when it stops working like it did today, you have to look for an alternative wallet for each separate protocol. And that is definitely not as convenient.

I don't, but I can test the latest build from Playstore to try if that issue reproducible or it's an isolated case. And, it's the same here: Seems like they have their own electrum server which is currently unavailable: ["bad connection:","{\"host\":\"electrum.layerzwallet.com\",\"port\":50004}",{}] ["retry"] ["electrum mainClient.onClose():",null] ["exception caught:","BlueElectrum.ts","Timeout waiting for Electrum connection"] {"name":"Error","message":"Timeout waiting for Electrum connection","stack":"Error: Timeout waiting for Electrum connection\n at anonymous (address at index.android.bundle:1:2719854)"} [{"generatedMessage":false,"code":"ERR_ASSERTION","actual":false,"expected":true,"operator":"=="}] ["electrum mainClient.onError():","{\"_defaultPrevented\":false,\"_timeStamp\":518829.458451,\"_type\":\"error\",\"_bubbles\":false,\"_cancelable\":false,\"_composed\":false}"] -snip-
