Yesterday, I watched a movie (Two for the Money) about a gifted former American football player who provides paid predictions for pro and college leagues. At the beginning, he was accurate, but once he became popular and a bunch of players started believing in him, he lost his spark and made many people lose big fortunes.
This is why I prefer to play without taking someone as an idol or reference. Whether I win or lose, I never look for an excuse. If I follow someone else’s predictions, I simply lose the fun behind gambling (Tbh sometimes I use Ai for stats, but it's not the same thing)
What about you? Do you have any names/influencers in mind whose picks are 90% correct (any sport)? Do they really exist?

I don’t follow this kind of influencers especially the one showing their huge bet on certain sports while they are partner to the casino they are advertising because who knows what’s the content of their deal regarding the user prediction.

Betting is more fun if you will do the hard-work for analysis to make every bet satisfying and worth it regardless whether loss or won but won is the most appreciated.

Building your winning percentage and adjusting your strategy based on your current PnL stats are entertaining to do.

No, because they are all scammers. People that they are deciding are the source of their money.

But it is only a movie. A movie can be made up of what is not real but what I like about the movie that you posted about is that the person that people have believe on in making accurate predictions later failed them. Yes, people can fail you at anytime because it is gambling. I believe in the later part.

Also it is good to keep in mind that is just a movie and these influencers are just actors playing a role and are paid for that.

Also young people should be aware that if someone promotes some scheme, gives sport betting tips or trading signals on Telegram or similar channel they are most likely scammers.

Ome of the biggest mistakes I would never make again is trusting influencers with correct odds. I tried it a couple of times in the past and I regret every experience till date, I lost my money and part of my sanity. Anybody that tells you they have correct predictions are just like every other person, nothing really special, just better analysis and luck-based.

I would prefer betting based on my little experience and analysis than trusting any influencer again.  Because in most cases, they don't show you their losses but only their winnings and in some cases, the games they post online are not the actual game they play. I have a friend who sells code online to people and I can tell you, it's all a scam, no accurate analysis but just luck.

I’ll check that movie out since I’m really into sports betting movies, that’s my thing.

But in real life, no, I don’t really follow anyone or use tipsters. I don’t believe in them that much. They’re not consistent, and relying on them doesn’t really help me develop my own skills if my goal is to be profitable in sports betting.

It’s mostly just me, learning and improving along the way. What I do follow are people who talk about bankroll management and controlling emotions, because those parts are really important and often ignored by a lot of bettors.

I don't really trust anyone with my game, and like you said, where's there fun in that? You let someone else do the predictions for you and you tell yourself that gambling is fun? It simply isn't making sense.. when you get such predictions, you will then be expecting way too much from the calls and any time you make losses you get frustrated because you must have placed a very risky bet on such games. Just be your self, be fun enjoy your games a win or a loss it won't matter if you have a good mindset.. to do many of these prediction experts or something, your money is what makes their day while you cry in losses..

In long term, this is truly almost impossible to achieved or else many already become a millionaire by playing sportsbook since this user will surely sell a tipster with huge amount due to his high accuracy

It’s only possible on short term betting history since some bettor manage to have a beginners luck and later just decrease the accuracy the more they bet.

I feel the same way actually once you start outsourcing belief to an idol, the responsibility and the fun quietly slips away. I don’t think anyone consistently hits 90% long term and if they did, they’d be silent and rich, not selling picks online. Using tools or stats is fine, but trusting your own judgment makes both the wins and losses feel real.

Of all the influencers that exist and I've seen none of them are trusted even I think even though I saw the influencer and was interested in betting on the advertised casino and then the result was that I managed to get a win, but I don't mean trusting the influencer but I believe more that at that time I was lucky so I could get a win.
Actually, in my opinion, the influencer's job is only to promote and it is done in a way that can attract many people by displaying easy wins but even though everything depends on their own luck.

Good to know that, I was always skeptical when I saw promotion of any kind of influencer. It is easy to edit video to make impression that they are only winning. Unfortunately a lot of people are too easy convinced that it is easy to win big money by gambling. A lit of people then go gambling with high expectations and in the end lose more than they can afford.

Nah. I would rather trust my own gut and judgement than place a bet based on advice given by someone sitting on his own yacht, sipping piña colada, and getting tanned under the blazing sun.

No. While these so-called "influencers" make it seem like they have all the big ideas and exclusive insider info, in reality, they're as oblivious as everyone else.
They want everyone to assume they know something, but all that is just their way to be constantly relevant in social media - basically chasing clout.
What's worse is that when shit hits the fan, all you hear from these influencers is "sorry" in a very unapologetic manner.

There are gamblers who are looking out for such on the internet: tipsters, or people who claim to be, people that they can trust blindly with their money because they believe they personally cannot become better at predicting games. Gamblers who are of this description have either been frustrated from losing so much or are new gamblers who are just interested in making money from gambling.

Gamblers who fail to learn that tipsters, no matter their title, should not be trusted will learn the hard way.

We follow tipsters and influnecers forgetting they are humans like us and that they can see the future.
I dont like influencers sharing screenshots of their bet because they can be mostly edited. However, I believe there are still people who can analyse games more than others. They look cool, doing the right thing, until they start asking people to join their Telegram channel and subscribe to their channel. There games are not 100% correct, we have to be very careful when trusting them.

The people you look upto as gambling influencers are just chessing their belle and looking for ways they can win more either directly through the games they are playing or indirectly through the commission people pay to them as royalty for the role they play as influencers.

Man up to whatever you're doing and being ready to face the consequences that comes with it rather than shifting the responsibility to a third party just because he tags himself to be an influencer. There's no difference between you and him. The only difference is that he's more confident of his prediction while you're not..

It’s honestly better not to trust at all. At the end of the day, they’re there to make money. That’s why they keep pushing and enticing people to gamble. In reality, they’re just transferring the risk to others, they’re not really betting the way they claim.

You’re on your own here if you want to stay on the winning side. Build your skills from what you learn and from experience along the way. That’s something you can do by yourself, without relying on tipsters who usually only bring short-term success anyway.

No, I don't watch or support this type of activity. Because the main task of influencers is to promote their affiliate link and receive a percentage of the bets placed by the referred player, and nothing more. They are not tasked with sharing knowledge; their goal is money, and it doesn't matter how they get it. That's why I skip this type of content.

As for me, I don’t believe in people gambling predictions, except my own because I believe gaming is all about luck. I also believe someone lucky may not be lucky for me, and with that reason, I always gamble with my own predictions. Most times, it is not an option when people are predicting, I always predicted.I just remember a friend who trusted one influencer like that. He was following the influencer before he started to believe in the influencer. When he started to believe in the influencer, that is how he began following the influencer’s predictions. After some time, gradually, there was one day the influencer dropped a prediction and said he was very sure the game would happen as predicted. That is how my friend went ahead and staked a big amount of money, and that is how it failed.So, if it was not the belief he had in the influencer, it is possible he would not have lost that big amount. Believing in some influencers can make some people get addicted, as they always encourage their followers to gamble, making them believe they can succeed through it.

As you mentioned, this takes away the fun in gambling. You cannot judge how much someone wins cause in many cases only their winning bets gets promoted and those they lose go under the radar. Trying to find a hack to winning in betting will only cause you addiction and more losses playing the bets and trying to purchase the right picks.
