If you were around in 2014 you may remember the serial scammer Michael Moriarty who ran the Bitcoin Network of sites that were all scams. These sites included coinchimp.com, bitplastic.com, bitlaunder.com, bitwebhosting.com, paidbitcoin.com, bitarmored.com, walletpays.com, vcbtc.com, hotbitcoins.com, bitforum.org, bitspeculate.com, bitsweeps.com, paidbitcoin.com, bitbing.com, cointopal.com as well as over 50 others. He used bitlaunder to steal from Ricky James as detailed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=713699.0

I was contacted by a podcast doing a story and they told me that Michael Moriarty was killed by someone and burned in his truck to ashes in 2017. So, I figured that Karma finally caught the little bitch. But after listening to this entire podcast and knowing what I know about his holdings, I want to research his known addresses because I am thinking Moriarty faked his death. It took them 3 years to ID the body and they ID'd it from a friggin tooth. Moriarty used to always tell me to read "The Prince" by Machiaveli who...   faked his death.

Moriarty I have a feeling you faked your death and I am going to try and prove it.

If anyone has any new info on this guy considering we now seemingly know his real name, other aliases and whereabouts for the past few years, my hope is that his real name or something triggers a memory in someone and they have more info on this guy. If he did die, I know of 12 of his btc addresses where he transferred 120 BTC each and have been sitting untouched for years. I haven't checked lately but will check now. He is sitting on at the very least $130,000,000.  Do these things ring any bells for any of you longtimers here?

In 2017 a man named "Jesse James" (Ironic considering his theft years before from the forum user "Ricky James") a “dirtbag” rock climber was found dead in his burned out truck in Squamish, B.C. The man was later identified as David Wolfgang Hawke. But this was just another alias of the man Andrew Britt Greenbaum. He was responsible for one of the largest junk email scam networks in history. After email scams, he then assumed the role of Michael Moriarty where he went on to steal thousands of bitcoin. If you are interested in the story here is the podcast.

If you have any info with this newly released data, I would love to hear it.  Thanks!

And if he got shot in the head and burned to a crisp, well, Karma is a bitch and she likes fire.

The only way i know to be absolutely sure, is to hire a lawyer and request any information on one's death. That would confirm if one was registered or not.

After doing some reading, I think this is the same dude who is dead or either faked it.

From: https://www.cbc.ca/radio/podcastnews/dirtbag-climber-episode-5-transcript-9.6968065

HYMAN GREENBAUM: There was a guy in California who was a radio announcer. I think my son was using the username of "Michael Moriarty" after the Sherlock Holmes villain [unclear]. But there was some guy who claimed that my son stole, like, I think it was 125 bitcoins or something like that from him. So, I mean, there was some pretty nasty tweets. It was on one of these websites, bitcoin forum or something like that. But I would like to have seen that investigated a little more than it was.
