In this current times, you do not have to build a business that requires that much capital. I am not saying those business ideas are bad, but if you do not have the capital, then spending that much is a mistake. We made the same mistake for my wife, and we spent a lot, and that caused us the business.

The smarter way would be spending whatever you have on online marketing, that way you could work even at home and still sell a lot. A friend of mine got rich literally off one of those "coupon" websites, he would just be giving out already existing coupon codes for many websites, from domain to casino to shopping, and all he did was be a website where all of it could be found, did great marketing and paid a lot and he got thousands of views per day, tens of thousands even, and sold it and got rich.

OP i must say you do not sound like someone who has actually started a business, at least not successfully. You talking about machines and all, what exactly were you trying to say there, lol. There is so much competition out there if you are intending to start a novel manufacturing brand and to even think of doing so, you'll need to have huge capital, or else you'd be wasting your time and the little money you have.

That said, people like fairytales, but you have to be brutally honest with yourself when it comes to stuff like this. I actually believe that if you have a skill that people really need, then you have a huge chance of success in business through offering that skill. Or you can grow a retail business.

I think this clothing business idea was good one time but now it's saturated and many people are doing this business and perhaps that's the reason the ROI in this business has gone good significantly. You can still do it but one needs to find new viraity and new ways of working (marketing) in order to get the sales going.

Also it depends from where you are doing this business and whom your target audience is. Ladies and children clothes tend to sell a lot quicker than men's clothes. Also the demand for ladies clothes is always more than the gents clothes.

Indeed, start with a good business idea. Even if the competition in the market is high, but if the demand for it is undoubtedly high, then stick to it and conduct more research so you can innovate your business or add some uniqueness into it like if you are in the food industry, that any new customer couldn't resist.

To do business, the first thing you need is to become known and trusted by people. The quality of the product you choose to start your business with must be good, and you must treat people well.

Quality is already subjective nowadays due to the introvert of cheap items from China. It’s hard to compete with products even if you have quality if there’s an alternative that cost much cheaper and perform the same even on a short period of time.

I preferred business on services such as laundry shops and so on which people use it as necessity without competition against China cheaper products.

China is no longer just a country that produces at low cost, it's a serious power investing heavily in technology and quality. In the past, Chinese products were often perceived as cheap but low-quality, and this perception was widespread for many years. China has reached a new level in production, and I can say it has even broken that perception. Therefore, in short, not competing with them is the best course of action.

Yes, in the present time, there are many companies that can provide you with machines. However, they may set certain conditions, which might reduce your profit margin slightly. Even then, you can still establish your business and build your company. If you don’t want to do business this way, another option is to start a business by pooling small amounts of money with a few friends and growing together.

You can't actually strive by pooling small amount of money, I don't believe in small amount of money, I strongly believed in capital that afford everything the business needs, plus the amount my friends gonna bring also. And I hope you should know that doing business with friends as well as family should be strictly built on logic and not emotions, I hope you know that.

Using emotions to start and run a business is the worst strategy an entrepreneur will do, business aren't meant to be developed through emotions but by logic and strict handling, I won't do business with friends except there is an order that had govern each of us according to our capital and means of earnings. Law and order must be placed.
