I do not have high activity for any champaign yet. I think pay per post is fairer for the campaign owner, fixed rate for a given number of post is good for the forum, while a fixed rate based on activity alone is unfair for both parties.
While being paid on a per post basis may be good for some, it has the unfortunate tendency to promote spamming - hence the signature restrictions that were imposed on lower activity members to make signature advertising for those who spam (mainly lower level members) far less effective. Hasn't made much of a difference members are still paid around 0.0003 or so per post, it just to be as low as 0.0002 per post for everyone even hero members.

Put it this way the restriction lead to a lowered price for those which newer accounts while inflating the price for those with older accounts. This only works on the premise that newer accounts are far more prone to spamming, while older accounts are less willing to spam and risk getting banned.

It's hasn't decreased the payout rates for members even though their signature is small and no colours can be used.

PD's rates were lowered significantly after the changes and I think were only then raised due to competition from Ritz.

I remember tradefortress's campaign , it was the best.
Based on activity and total posts and not posts per month.
EG : Newb with 0 posts adds posts 400 times. The signature is on 400 posts. Long time user with 1000 posts adds posts 100 times. The signature is on 1100 posts.
The signature is seen on old posts as well as new ones , so this is the best method.
As said by b!z , it stops promoting spamming.
Weekly payment is not a good idea , except for new campaigns, as it is hard to manage for the owner.

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

That was the best, but he was throwing away bitcoins to eventually scam people This is a very good thing: EG : Newb with 0 posts adds posts 400 times. The signature is on 400 posts. Long time user with 1000 posts adds posts 100 times. The signature is on 1100 posts.

i would like a sig deal that payed higher for jr members and gradually got lower! why you ask? 1. im a junior member (lol jk) 2. it would help those newer to bitcoin get some to really start learning because face it, we all know visiting all the faucets isnt gonna make a reasonable amount that you can do anything with... 3. basically it would help kickstart newer members

This is how it was before the signature changes came in. It was the easiest way by far to get your first amounts of BTC and a decent amount too.

putting older posts in the same category as newer posts isn't a good idea. as newer posts has better visibility.. so sharing payout percentage between old and new posts will be better. maybe 30/70 or even 20/80 or 10/90

Or Sig payouts could be paid based on how often our Sig is shown.(ip based?) but technically this is not possible yet.. and even never! it would be possible if admin allows 1x1 pixels img in Sig. Or even 0x0 and Sig compaign owner could know easily each user efficiency.

Based on how often our Sig is shown? Isn't that basically per post?

Based on how often our Sig is shown? Isn't that basically per post? nop. it's more " per page" than "per post" basically " multiple post in a single page would count as one"

Everybody was on the same of 0.0002 per post until the changes; now look at the rates.

I don't think its fair for newly signed up members to get paid on the same rate as members that have sticked with this forum for much longer.

I'm sure newbies would disagree with you haha, but at least it stops people from just signing up to abuse the campaigns.
