GG-W vs UPW-W

Yesterday in WPL series,  14 th game of this series was played between GG-W and UPW-W teams. In starting of game, UPW team won toss and they elected fielding lineup and gave batting lineup to GG-W team. UPW team set 153 runs target in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Sophie made great half century 50 runs in 42 balls and hitted two 4s and three 6s. In opening of lineup,  Beth scored 38 runs in 34 balls and hitting five 4s. GG-W team won this 14 th game by margin 45 runs and UPW-W team chased down 108 runs only. Rajeshwari bowler helped team to win this game and she took down 3 wickets in 4 overs and gave 16 runs. GG-W team rank is 2 nd and they won 3 games out of 6.

UP Warriorz Women team is a slightly weaker team than Gujarat Giants Women team,due to which they faced failure in this match as well.So when the first team took to bat, they set a target of 153 runs, in which the performance of all the players was acceptable. Sophie Devine scored a half century, which gave them a good lead in the match.The batting of the other team was even worse than them, and anyway, their team is a little inferior to them, and everyone already understood that their team might face failure. In the meantime, this match was the 14th match of the series, in which Gujarat Giants Women won by 45 runs and the other team failed. The target of 153 run was not a tough target that their team could not achieve but still when the other team is heavy,there is pressure on it and something similar happened to them.

Currently, the tournament has hit the second leg and the latest match is hosted in Vadodara, Kotambi stadium to be precise.
It would be said the league is currently in a high stakes week heading for the playoff race and it would be enlightening to know that the orange cap race is being contested by Harmanpreet Kaur who is followed by Nat Sciver-Brunt and of course Lizelle Lee.  While the purple cap race leads with Amelia Kerr and Nadine de Klerk who are having a tie with 10 wickets each. 
RCB already qualified, and that leaves the four teams remaining in a tie for who gets to pick the last two playoff spots.

GG-W team scored 153 and it was not a tough total. If the opponent build partnership then they can easily win the match but they could not do it. GG team in power play scored 52 runa and UPW team scored 46 but we can consider it better for power play. But in the middle overs UPW team could not utilise herself. They lost 6 wickets in middle overs and I think this was a turning point for the GG team and they took advantage of this stage. Only one six hit by UPW team in whole match. On the other hand GG-W team hit 4 sixes. There was not big partnership build by GG team but they slowly building up little by little partnership. On the other hand UPW team a small partnership could not build else one or two but these was also small not big. So due to showing weaker performance by UPW in batting side they could not win the match.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Delhi Capital women

Is there anyone here who watched this match Royal Challengers Bengaluru squad and  Delhi Capitals women squad.

Today, there was no match in Indian Women Premier competition and next match will be among Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians women squad. In this match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have higher chance of winning. In previous match Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Delhi Capital women squad,  Royal started match first with batting inning and their batting performance was quite bad and collected 109 scores off 20 overs inning. Nandani Sharma batter displayed strong strength against Royal batters and picked up 3 crucial wickets. Laura Wolvaardt  was top scorer of this match and he managed to collect 42 scores. With 7 wickets and 26 deliveries, Delhi Capitals women successfully emerge victory.

RCB-W team won toss and they elected field first and gave batting lineup to UPW-W team. UPW-W team set easy runs 143 in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Klerk bowler bowled very well in this game and she took down 4 wickets in 4 overs and gave 22 runs. Grace effort was very helpful and he dismissed 2 wickets of UPW-W team in 3 overs. RCB-W 1 st rank team easily chased all runs and won this 18 th game by big margin 8 wickets and 41 balls. Grace effort in batting was also very helpful and he made great progress and made 75 runs in 37 balls only and hitted thirteen 4s and two 6s. Smriti also batted mind blowing with Grace and both opener batsmen showed brilliant struggle and she made 54 runs. RCB-W team has 6 wins and two lost now with 12 points.

They scored more runs in middle overs, the runs was 80 and opponent team scored 64 here they took advantage and went to close to win the match. Rajeshwari Gayakwad bowled well by GG-W team, she gave 20 runs in 4 overs and got 3 important wickets. Also Sophie Devine bowled well she took 4 wickets and gave little bit more runs. On the other hand opponent team bowled well but couldn't batting well. They lost back to back wickets, no one could stay on crease and not make high runs. Their lower order was very weak in adding even a little. If they could have made even 10 runs each, then the situation could be altered. Because Mumbai Indians were very close to the target, but Giants were putting pressure through the bowlers who just focused on giving the threat of wickets falling. So, that's true collective team effort that gave the win to the Giants.

Grace lost wickets in start of game and made only 9 runs but Smriti batsmen made brilliant half century total 87 runs in 41 balls and hitted twelve 4s and three 6s.
