Just wanted to ask if there are any employers or companies that pay salary in BTC. Could be full time, part time, or freelance.
If you’ve worked with someone like that or know any legit companies or online jobs paying in BTC, please share. Also curious how payments are usually done.
I actually don't know any physically, but I'm absolutely sure that crypto related services such as exchanges, projects and casinos are likely t pay and receive payment with Bitcoin, and a good example of such crypto exchanges that I'm sure might pay their staff with Bitcoin includes exchange like Binance, Bitget, Bybit, Coinbase and e.t.c. While secondly, another sets of people who receive payment in Bitcoin are campaign managers on this forum or those who offer sponsorship services by promoting projects here on social media. So if you have any of those skills, you are likely to receive payment with Bitcoin.
I also don't know of any physically structured businesses that pays their employees or contractors in Bitcoin and the reason should be because they do their businesses with fiat. It would be tasking for companies to be doing their business in fiat and trade it to Bitcoin to pay their employees, the ideal thing for them to do is make payment with traditional currencies in the regions where their businesses are located. It is very ideal for companies that their business has to do with cryptocurrency to make payments with it like online casinos and exchanges, they don't need to trade fiat into Bitcoin before they can pay their employees in cryptocurrency. Although a person don't need to work in a job that pays in Bitcoin to hold Bitcoin, they can trade their traditional currencies to Bitcoin.

For sure, you can find online that pay Bitcoin.

That wasn't really popular here in my country. I never encountered any BTC paying company in my country locally, probably because Bitcoin was not really completely accepted here as a currency, just something like an investment. Even huge companies don't really offer it, but you could ask the company to pay you in BTC, unless they are crypto investors as well. I doubt that they would go through the hassle on that.

I've seen some online jobs that is paying Bitcoin, but I guess it started to disappear online, probably Bitcoin just wasn't a thing as a currency since there were just too many factors and restrictions unless they know what they doing they might probably accept, I got a freelancer job locally that paid me in USDT, it wans't really Bitcoin but it is still crypto, they were not a fan on Bitcoin the way I see it because they small company like SUI so they invested more on it, so that is probably why they used liquidity like USDT for payroll.

USDT is much more used and accepted as the means of payment, imo.

But I am sure that as of now, finding the ones paying up with BTC is pretty easy. It also depends on the sphere of work we are talking about.
