So I was on my own doing my daily chores and a friend whom have already accepted that no super cycle is coming sent me this image on my WhatsApp.



I am very sure that many people have seen this image on twitter from CZ, stating that a super cycle is very likely to come, but here is my take on this.

If you think that a super cycle will happen because of this single tweet you will be very disappointed.
My advice to anyone that's thinking the same way is to lower their expectations.
It is very possible that nothing like a super cycle will happen in this year 2026.
And this isn't a bad thing because you will be able to accumulate more, more time means more opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin.

He is a popular figure in crypto space and this makes it even more dangerous, they have the keys to massive manipulations and they have proven to outsmart retailers in the past, have a mind of your own and make decisions for yourself, these people have their own plans as well, make sure you have yours too.

The tweet alone carries all the information that is needed to be understood by a smart person and not some dumb newbies. If CZ said there's a super cycle coming, there's no assurance for that and the first  thing he said was that he could be wrong about his analysis which means that no body should be dumb to believe what he said but anyone that wants to agree with him should do a research on your own and if their research aligned with his own analysis, then they can believe what he said.

There's nothing bad to high our expectations about an incoming super cycle but if it's this kind of tweets that's going to cause such expectation, then the newbies that believes it, will have will from any experience they get out of it.

When tweets like this comes up, doing research should be the first thing that comes to the mind.

As a trader or investor what is left for you is to be supper smart and active to know what next that would happen so that you wouldn't be caught unaware about the information that been share online or twitter. Of course isn't for someone to entirely depends on any information online before they could starts taking action towards what they heard. This may or may not happen, who knows? But we shouldn't rely so much whatever that's circulating online, as they could be nothing but are only made to create hype, and those who easily believe will just fall on their trap.

Instead, do your own research. Prepare for it if there are chances to see it'll happen, but never expect too much. The fact that bitcoin remains highly volatile, having this super  cycle that pertains to experience above-average growth and returns might have less chances to turn into reality, although everything can still be possible with bitcoin because of its uncertainty.

I guess what these people, including CZ want to achieve is for the price of bitcoin to be less volatile in 2026 which is this year, followed by few boring months next year and which will be followed by bitcoin price starting to increase again and all-time high begin again. Anyone can say whatever they want to say on social media but no matter who they are never believe everything they say because if i were to be a notable person in the crypto space like CZ, i can just wake up one morning and tweet that ''something huge is about to happen to bitcoin'' so inasmuch as speculative assets like bitcoin is concerned, there is no surety of what will happen to the price of bitcoin. Whether a super cycle comes or not, should we worry? Is our investment about a super cycle happening? So anyone who is having a high expectation about a possible super cycle is making a mistake.

The strength in which Cz has is the fact that he could have better information that a number of persons, just merely looking at how things are going from his platform he could give a hint that super cycle can set in but that is only if things go as planned not just by CZ but big investors and institutions, there could be surge but with this performance bitcoin expectations are not supposed to be high in the first place .

Yeah. Kind of like a self-fulfilling prophecy.  In the crypto world, this is a fancy way of saying that if enough people believe the price will go up, they stop selling.  Since there is no supply on the market, the price actually goes up, which makes more people believe the hype.  Its a loop.

However, dont build your financial future on the hope that a bunch of greedy strangers will keep a pinky promise.

Just because the post is from CZ, some people are going to follow him blindly, they take CZ as their God and they always follow what he says, they going to ignore the part which he said he might be wrong. We should know that nobody can control the market, even CZ cant control the market, he is also doing analysis, and he might be wrong. If you see a post from a person like CZ you shouldn’t just follow him like that without doing more research, make sure you take your time to do more research about what he said, and if you think he is worth following, then you can do whatever you want.

While I can say that this is not how it happens directly that all of them can actually lure people into buying and then just dump on us like it’s some sort of meme coins or alt coin. Bitcoin is bigger than that, those investing are actually trying to Make others invest too but I can tell you that none is looking at dumping his because that will not be affecting bitcoin but rather will be affecting them because bitcoin is not a coin just like that but an asset and to dump on such asset is like giving up your position for future gains.

I can actually agree with you that yes investors who are actually calling for buying of bitcoin are actually the lovers of bitcoin while those who spread FUD are its haters

Speculations are normal especially when there is high uncertainty on the nature of investment. So everyone is free to speculate, but that does not bear the fact that everything that has been said people should come to believe.

Always be reminded that having your own research is the best key towards full understanding on the kind of investment you are in. Now if your research tells you that super cycle might have chances to be possible, then so be it and find some proofs. But if ends up telling you that super cycle is just one of those big lies about bitcoin, better spare yourself from thinking about it. Stick to what is currently happening with bitcoin.

Lower but not too much because people should only be expecting price action that reflects that which is shown on the chart.  Its neither terrible or great right now, clues are yet to emerge for the larger picture.

It was a good start to 2026 but BTC is less positive as of about a week ago and might need to confirm the late December highs properly before it can continue.
 I dont think there is any rush or need to go for big estimates just because its a new year, it might make more sense to wait for the Chinese New Year since that has been something of a tradition.

The super cycle is probably just the absence of bearish season. If the price could climb from current mark which is $92k to $150k without any trace of bearish market, i already consider it super cycle.

CZ should be more detailed on the definition of super cycle because high expectation is unavoidable with the word "super" because the first time people heard it, they'd think of 3x gain within just one cycle.

I know CZ is popular and all but I won't put my money on the line just because he tweeted bullish tweet. Just keep doing dollar cost averaging instead.

Things like this might not attract big investors and institutions. But for those who make small investments, a statement from CZ might be seen as a signal that should be followed. Anyway, there are people with that kind of mindset, but clearly, not those who are more conscious about long-term investments that have already been built and planned.
