Not that we are skeptics about this kind of announcement from him, but so far we haven't seen what a super cycle is. So for me, it looks like CZ is doing what other crypto influential, like wanted to sway investors to believed in this X moment or what could happened in the future.

But on the other hand, as no one has the crystal ball to see what the future hold, it makes us doubt what he is prediction. So yeah, as the title suggests, I wouldn't go and believed and it's better to just lower our expectations so that we won't fall for the trick of seeing big market this year. If it comes then good for us. but at least not expecting big, it won't put too much stress on our end.

CZ said he could be wrong, he's put up his own disclaimer on his speculations, whoever takes it seriously and acts on it does so at their own discretion and not in response to CZ post. He is a public figure and a good crypto stakeholder, as such he would timely be feeding his fans some info. He's even kind enough to put up a disclaimer, people like Peter Schiff would say it with their full chest.

It is up to anyone to believe, myself is not really seeing the possibility, although I'm not overly pessimistic.

Really weird of them to still trying to control the volatility of bitcoin, after all these years in the game, shouldn't they already know that it's difficult and it's only something that would tarnish their reputation if they make the mistake which most of them inevitably make. You cannot use only your words to control the market and investors when you ain't as powerful as Trump. CZ can say whatever he likes, that doesn't mean that if the market will dump, it wouldn't because investors are always ready to take profits.

I was wondering what will make bitcoin price dip below 90k since big companies and government showed interest on having a bitcoin reserve to the point that some have already started accumulation. Investors sentiment will always affect the price of bitcoin. This year should be a bearish one for bitcoin not a super circle.

If that's so, I'm also the best speculator: "I could be wrong, but Bitcoin is going to reach $1M in the next three years." I'm personally not going to listen to anyone, whether that's CZ or anyone else. I don't want to have super high expectations just because someone said so. What's going to happen if they don't become a reality? I'll be disappointed; I find it better to have lower and have them exceeded than to fall short. I'm also not pessimistic about it, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

The tweet alone carries all the information that is needed to be understood by a smart person and not some dumb newbies. If CZ said there's a super cycle coming, there's no assurance for that and the first  thing he said was that he could be wrong about his analysis which means that no body should be dumb to believe what he said but anyone that wants to agree with him should do a research on your own and if their research aligned with his own analysis, then they can believe what he said.

There's nothing bad to high our expectations about an incoming super cycle but if it's this kind of tweets that's going to cause such expectation, then the newbies that believes it, will have will from any experience they get out of it.

When tweets like this comes up, doing research should be the first thing that comes to the mind.

I would not entirely call newbies "dumb" because they are still in the learning process, we all learn everyday including you as well. The statement CZ made might carry different meaning for different people based on their level of experience and understanding of the crypto space.

Some times, it's not about how long you've being in the space but rather the experiences and impact you have during these times. It's not clear that Bitcoin experience a super cycle this year with just his statement because Bitcoin is not under any central authority or control but his analysis would be correct as well.

Like you said, it is safe and the best approach for everyone who intends to take this statement into consideration to make further personal research, and analysis to the best of their knowledge, seek professional advise and make a bold final decision and not rely solely on one man's statement.

Well, he did say he could be wrong. He ain't sure. It's like a warning, only that we must always be ready for what could happen in the future.

The problem with this kind of tweet from popular people is that many newbies and small investors will agree to it without doing anything. Some live on the hype and try to ride it, but it doesn't always go the way they want it.
A bull run for a long time. I highly doubt it could happen that fast. ETF just happened, and it matured quickly. Another boost will probably come from big news about cryptocurrencies, but if ever a bull run comes, I don't think it will be that long.

Honestly this speculation board is such a freaky place of predicting the future price of bitcoin.
So obvious there had been no proved prediction professional in the market.

It is better to lower your expectations so that if the super circle happens it'll be a plus and a boost for you, nobody knows it all when it comes to Bitcoin market, you can only predict based on your speculations. Yes, that is what he is saying about that we must lower our expectations. I cannot speak on behalf of people who say that the price will go up, because that is not what I think so I can't really assume why they are saying that. But, I can talk about why people are saying that it is going to go down, while I love bitcoin and it is great, history shows us that this year is the down year and we are going to be lower. That's not bad though, it happens, you just buy when it goes down on these down years and then you try to hope that it does better in the future instead.
