Between Bitcoin Mining and investment which one is more preferable.

My naija people I say make I ask this very important question because, I don dey think since between Bitcoin Mining and Bitcoin investment which one is preferable. Because going through this forum all the threads is talking about investments you hardly see  threads talking about mining so I take a look at the two and did the comparison.

What are the factors you look at when considering going into Bitcoin.
There are allot of things to consider when planning of going into crypto currency and these factors are mining and investment because, these are only the two ways one can get hold of crypto currency. For the purpose of this thread am concerned only on Bitcoin and the question is simple and short. What do you prefer between mining and investment.

Resource availability is the most important factor to look at because whether you say investment which is more capital friendly and Mining that is more capital intensive all is dependent on money. Coming to Nigeria which is struggling with constant electricity supply, which is needed for Mining Bitcoin. This led me to ask the question what is more preferable to you between Bitcoin Mining and you investments.

Between investment and mining, mining is preferrable but it is more costly to set up. The capital you will use to set up your mining farm is enough to buy 1 Bitcoin and more, depending on your location. The cost of mining is very high, so as a Nigerian, investment is the best choice here. You can't run a minning set up in Nigeria successfully. Even if it is possible, you will spend so much money on it and it will take you years to receover your money and profits.

Mining is very sweet when talked about but it becomes bitter when you have to spend the money to use it, just like the first person said it’s very expensive to set up here but it’s the most profitable thing to do when it comes to bitcoin but that was in the past today you just have to invest and let go, if you care about it you will need enough capital to start, light and other national issue could even hold you down including security for the machines etc m, so investment seems to be the best option.

You will find discussions about mining there and the reason why people don’t compare it, is because they are two different things, when you are mining bitcoin..you are running a business and when you are buying bitcoin..it is an investment.

Personally, I prefer the investment because I don’t have enough money to buy ASIC and all those mining stuff, if you want to start mining bitcoin you will need a huge capital whereas if it is investment you don’t need a huge capital, you can start will small and continue DCAing.

If you have your capital, even without constant electricity in Nigeria you can still mine using renewable energy like solar power but it will cost you a lot. As a Nigerian youth I think you’ll rather invest in bitcoin rather than mine it because of its capital consumption. But if you have the Capital then mining should be a very good option.
