At first, I thought these animals were “predicting” outcomes purely by chance. But after watching a video, I realized the story isn’t what it looks like. There’s actually a smart way these videos are made to mislead people, because most of them are recorded before the game is even played (they actually record 3 results for the same match; 1X2). The correct result gets promoted while the 2 wrong predictions disappear.
In the end, there’s no cat, duck, octopus, or even elephant that can truly predict the result of a game 😄

I have always known there was something fishy about this cat that was seen going viral few days ago after predicting the correct scores of the current AFCON games, most especially the match between Senegal vs Egypt and that of  Nigeria vs Morocco games. Because I knew that no animal, human or neither a  person who has supernatural powers could predict the exact outcome of multiple Sport games without making a single mistake if it wasn't a trick or fake. Because just the same way you explained above, I have always thought maybe those videos were recorded in two where the cat was picking Senegal to win, and the second clip when the cat was picking Egypt to win, and both posted, and whichever matches the correct outcome after the match has ended, then the wrong one is immediately deleted. But however, I will make my research tonight to go check out the original page we're these videos are posted, and check which country the cat will select as the final winner of the AFCON this year between Senegal vs Moroco.

Such "predictions" from animals should be considered as entertainment. I remember before the World Cup matches, which took place in South Africa, an octopus was shown on TV choosing a box with the flag of the winner of the match. How do people even believe that the car make make good guess on what country will win other the other? even the statics given by most platforms do not work or are not giving better advantages toaking better prediction, compared to a cat on any of the social media, well gambling is luck and luck is better when you have more edges over the predictions, but for the cat not even humans can do nor gods.

Let me clarify that I don't believe that cats or monkeys can predict anything. But decades ago, we would also laugh at the possibility of having a robot that would outsmart humans, and now we are in that age. So while I don't believe in these superstitious things like cat predicting, I'm open to it if enough evidence is provided with data to back it. Almost 99.99% sure it will never be proved, but it goes with the same logic that all crows are back until you see a white one for the first time .

If I had a cat that was doing it, I'd rather gamble myself than provide predictions online. Makes no sense to publicize your golden goose, if there is one.

And I think I will agree with you but not also to the extent that robots are outsmarting humans, for me it's not possible only happens with a few experiments shows it can but in reality the difficulty to outsmart people is always very high because I have played tricks on robot personally and they are not that capable to do that except in the future, just like you said in the future if enough evidence is presented to prove that cats can then we can agree yet I will agree with you that keeping such information to myself and gamble with it untill I'm tired of it which is not possible.

I haven't and didn't believe that such things are existing. How will a dumb cat or dog predict a match that they don't have any idea of. Gambling is beyond magic power or spiritual forces manipulation if not, we will see a lot of people making money through it. It's a pure manipulation, I agree with you OP.

How will a dumb cat and dog predict games. Anyway anything possible now. But for me I believe there spiritual forces that predict matchs but sometimes not currently. There are manipulation in games too imagine some weeks in gambling business that all big teams will draws I mean all. What about other days that big side will lost there games. I don't believe in animal prediction. Looking at the pictures, you will see that the animals where all on thesame sides like on the left hand in all prediction and the desired club was put in that left. I have not seen that animal on the right side, meaning that it is a program to make you believe the animals predicted it, whereas there is nothing like that.

The results may happen coincidentally but I don't believe in such predictions. If it is shown live a few days before the match starts then it may gain some credibility but if it happens after the match results on social media then there will be some doubt. Before the FIFA World Cup I saw a incident that octopus predict the match result which seemed strange to me. Sometimes the predictions of such animals can be positive and sometimes negative. Believing that there is a special cat or animals out there who don't just land on your property without having some magical wand is stupid, and sometimes stupid things comes with surprises, what if it works? Many people will ignore it but I found this to be fun and if you are already a responsible gambler there is nothing to fear here.

To me this just feels like a way to make your gambling activities to become more exciting, I can definitely do this, but not with the mindset of winning or turning my pet into some gambling oracle, the reality is cats and dogs can't even predict the future or anything that's future related, but there could be fun hiding in this.

I find it funny that anybody would believe these things. It's obvious that these things are recorded quite a number of times to get the desired results, and even if it was recorded only once, how stupid can anybody be to believe a dog or a cat has the skill or intelligence to pick the outcome of a game more than a human?
Besides, I've never seen any of these things that were accurate all through. Its just a random selection by the dog and since its only two options, its a 50/50 chance of picking one and that means he might have a 50% chance of choosing the right outcome. Nothing more to it.

Picking Senegal or Morocco to win their games is not a mind-blowing prediction. It was expected. It was either they win, or the other team wins, so it's nothing special. It would have been special if they consistently picked the right options out of a series of options.

if prediction just about sometimes right and sometimes wrong, we don't need to follow animal predictions. All of us can do that even without match analysis. A toddler also able to do the same thing as animals, why not asking a toddler that unable to talk yet to predict

You said that this process makes gambling more exciting, you are absolutely right. I thought so too. Especially, big gambling companies may have a contribution  in running this kind of experiment. I remember during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, when they made predictions through Octopus. At that time, I saw many people betting aggressively based on the predictions of Octopus, but I personally do not believe in these kind of animal predictions. Maybe there is some coincidence behind most of the cases being true.

Of all the clips I have seen about gambling on yhe Internet i have never come across an animal gambling before, it might just be a fake clip and even if it is a real video the dog is moving in different directions and it might be as a result of how it is been trained to do. I do not know much about what you are saying but I can never have believe in animals prediction, we are no more in the olden days that people will believe in superstitions. Either the animal prediction is just luck or it is not true just like how you said it. But if it is true, I will prefer to make predictions by myself and use it to gamble instead of believing in animals.

it's even escorted to believe in lots of things now because Ai has made it possible for people to fmdp deep fake videos, so you cannot reay tell which one is real or fake. That's obviously a fake video but it looks real, animals are not wise enough to make predictions, their brain isn't really that developed. people only use such videos to attract attention to their social media pages.
