I also recently made an exchange, and the service works perfectly. If anyone doesn't believe me, they can try it. I don't want to give away the details of the exchange, so I'll just leave a screenshot. Bitcoin transactions take a long time, and I don't want to pay higher fees to get into the next block.

Bitcoin transactions take a long time, and I don't want to pay higher fees to get into the next block.

What do you mean? You have decided to switch from Bitcoin to Monero because Bitcoin transactions are expensive and take too long to confirm, or did you mean something else?

It just sounded a bit unusual to me, because right now Bitcoin fees are actually quite low. In fact, fees like the ones we see today would have been hard to imagine five years ago.

As for confirmation time, after last year's 51% attack on Monero many people actually started waiting for more confirmations for XMR transactions, sometimes even longer than with BTC.

By the way, b1exch.to is one of the rare cases where Monero swaps are currently processed after 10 confirmations of the incoming transaction. Most other swapping services usually require around 20-25 confirmations.

And after the next 2 minutes, I've already received it on my receiving BTC wallet address. It needs confirmation on the blockchain but it's appeared already on my wallet.
Yes, it usually gets completed very quickly. Especially when you make an exchange, you will notice that once the deposit is confirmed and the exchange button becomes ✅, the converted funds are often sent to the receiving address even before the complete button appears, as long as there is no issue with the transaction.
It's really quick and compared to the other instant exchanges, it takes more than 10 minutes with the usual transaction that I do with them. I can say that I am impressed and for sure that the others too. The likely that it's also because that I've started it from ETH made it quick. I haven't tried the BTC to another crypto, maybe that will take a little bit longer because we know that each block that's mined takes time too.

Another crazy month has flown by.  Shocked

Our Monero reserves currently stand at 9,372 XMR ($3,283,612). ✅

We expect the reserve to decrease slightly depending on swap demand for other trading pairs.

Friends, we're pleased to announce that our Monero reserves continue to grow thanks to swap fees. In just 30 days, our reserves have increased by $110,000, now reaching $270,000. This is great news, as just a few months ago, our XMR reserves were only $10,000!

b1ack has previously stated that they independently set up most of their exchange infrastructure, including running nodes on each blockchain. I believe the 10 confirmation requirement is tailored to their business risk profile to accommodate users, many of whom dislike long processing times Roll Eyes.

This is a plus, as other exchanges you mentioned might rely on 3rd party node policies.

In this case, there are clear rules for the affiliate program regarding spam, because the verification link can only be set up on websites that you actually manage. And, as far as I understand, only after the traffic source has been confirmed will the activity of users attracted from that source be taken into account. In this case, spam will definitely not be accepted. In general, you need some kind of thematic resource to really make money on an affiliate program, because only targeted traffic will convert.

And of course, spam in private messages, for example on X (Twitter) or Instagram, will negatively affect the reputation of the promoted project.
It depends on the team, how they see it, and if they want that kind of promotion or not. That's why they have taken this extra step, which is really appreciable. Confirming everything from the start can easily remove any kind of spam. Which is good for business longevity too, because they are saving themselves from losses from the start.

This also shows their experience of managing things because later if things get messy and if they change their structure later, it can be troublesome for other businesses already using the referral system

I waited almost two hours for this transaction that finally failed, I don't think this SOL Liquidity is really worth using. when I make a Liquidity transaction has 1000$ and I only make a 50$ transaction, I think it will work until a message like this appears in the UI:

Code:
Processing Exchange
Your SOL is being sent. Estimated time: ~1 min.

Processing
Your deposit is confirmed! We're now processing your DAI-ERC20 → SOL swap.

This usually takes just a moment. Your SOL will be on its way shortly.

But after almost two hours the transaction failed, the platform said it would be refunded and then I entered my DAI address, but what I received was 46.07 DAI. Ridiculous, isn't it?
I have lost 4 DAI after a long wait and the transaction was not processed.

But after a few minutes I received another 3.96 DAI at my address, did you send it again? If so, it should be. But why did you make two transactions of 46.07 + 3.96 DAI? Why not send a whole 50 DAI?
Considering that the transaction is refunded,

I remember reading that this was in a kind of beta test or something. I want to try to trade it as well.

@b1ack Would it be possible to trade more SOL now, given the testing that was done, or is it still not enough to say it's stable? I kept experiencing slow site performance, possibly because the same trading pair was being quoted by other people. Or it's just because liquidity is low?
(I'm just thinking out loud)

I wanted to point out that with the default settings of two confirmation blocks, I have to wait up to 30 minutes for my Bitcoin transaction. But the service sends Monero very quickly. I'm usually not in a rush, so I can use standard fees for Bitcoin payments.

This is quite interesting. I would rather say that XMR reserves will start to decrease if the price of Monero is in the green for several days in a row.
It is good that you have enough funds in reserves, so other swap pairs do not suffer such a concentration in one coin.

btw. How demanding is it, and is it in the offing to add USDC, at least on one network? The recent MiCA regulation should have limited EU users from using USDT. Although I'm not sure how consistent it all is.

Because of b1exch, I got to use USDT TRC20. I didn't know that TRX has so many fees to deal with. The energy and the cost of transacting USDT. I regret having to swap USDT. I might just get more, then transact once, and get rid of the USDT TRX I have. I think it's better to have USDT on a different chain. This is so expensive  Shocked

That's something to consider when using non-custodial wallet for usdt trc20, that's why i only used usdt to received on cex platform even though there are risks to consider but since it is considered as centralized by nature, so im risking using it on cex transacting or using instant swap exchange like b1exch and sometimes cce.

I've visited the site multiple times since last week and to be honest the new in house DDoS protection system of b1exch is far better than cloudflare's protection because in the b1exch's new DDoS protection system a user can visit the site much faster and I've never faced those delays that happen on sites having cloudflare protection.
I agree, it works way faster now.  I hope the new type of protection does help in an eventual future attack.  So far, it is actually one of the few No Java Script adapted websites I used that work well and do not require a couple reloads to finally load up or to show the requested information.

This sounds great.  Considering the amount of detailed work done in favor of customers and the user experience we get, I am hoping this gets to be one of the Exchanges to last for a very long time.

I believe their protection is quite good and it'll be much helpful to block any future attacks and at the same time users of the site won't face any issues even it's attacked once again by those people who're against privacy. The b1exch team has done their best and just like you, everyone else is happy to visit the site without those CloudFlare delays and without Java script. Thumbs up for b1exch for such a great alternative of CloudFlare.

That's the ideal approach. Now I know. Now I have to buy TRX, then transfer it to my wallet  Angry. I just need to trade those pairs to increase the trading pairs I have in the competition.  Grin

We have already mentioned that Solana swaps are currently in beta.
We experienced some issues with gas fees, which resulted in a loss of 4 DAI on your end. We detected this and issued a full refund within 2 hours.
We're sorry to hear you're still unhappy despite receiving the refund — we understand how frustrating unexpected issues can be.
Due to these ongoing issues, we temporarily disabled Solana yesterday. Our team is actively working on a fix, and the feature will be back up shortly.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.

That's the ideal approach. Now I know. Now I have to buy TRX, then transfer it to my wallet  Angry. I just need to trade those pairs to increase the trading pairs I have in the competition.  Grin

We understand this is causing a lot of inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for that. We are working hard behind the scenes and will be bringing some exciting updates to our users very soon.

I agree, it works way faster now.  I hope the new type of protection does help in an eventual future attack.  So far, it is actually one of the few No Java Script adapted websites I used that work well and do not require a couple reloads to finally load up or to show the requested information.
I've visited the site multiple times since last week and to be honest the new in house DDoS protection system of b1exch is far better than cloudflare's protection because in the b1exch's new DDoS protection system a user can visit the site much faster and I've never faced those delays that happen on sites having cloudflare protection.

Another crazy month has flown by.  Shocked

Our Monero reserves currently stand at 9,372 XMR ($3,283,612). ✅

We expect the reserve to decrease slightly depending on swap demand for other trading pairs.
This sounds great.  Considering the amount of detailed work done in favor of customers and the user experience we get, I am hoping this gets to be one of the Exchanges to last for a very long time.

To be transparent with our community — we are currently experiencing DDoS attacks on both our clearnet and Tor services. However, our anti-DDoS systems are holding strong, and the attackers are clearly losing momentum.
Tor can only be taken down if the attack is powerful enough to destabilize the entire Tor network itself, which is extremely unlikely.
As for clearnet — even if attackers manage to bring us down temporarily, we will patch every vulnerability they expose, and each attempt will only make our infrastructure stronger.
We appreciate your patience and continued support.

We are working on USDC-ERC20 .

I waited almost two hours for this transaction that finally failed, I don't think this SOL Liquidity is really worth using. when I make a Liquidity transaction has 1000$ and I only make a 50$ transaction, I think it will work until a message like this appears in the UI:
I remember reading that this was in a kind of beta test or something. I want to try to trade it as well.

@b1ack Would it be possible to trade more SOL now, given the testing that was done, or is it still not enough to say it's stable? I kept experiencing slow site performance, possibly because the same trading pair was being quoted by other people. Or it's just because liquidity is low?
(I'm just thinking out loud)

Solana will be back online soon. Rather than launching with large liquidity right away, we will scale based on demand. Once we have confirmed that our nodes are stable and secure, you can expect up to $100,000 in available liquidity within the first few weeks.
For larger swaps, please don't worry — we will process them within 2 to 6 hours, as our team monitors the exchange 24/7.

Interesting.  I did not know this about Tor.

Do you have any suspicion about the motives behind these attack attempts other than possible competitors trying to put your websites down?

It's difficult to say for certain, but we believe this may be the work of a script kiddie. The attacks were powerful initially, but at this point they feel manageable for us. The attack pattern hasn't changed, and while it was indeed strong, they appear to have launched it from a single server — which may explain why it was effective against other Tor onions, but not against us.
We'd rather not go into too much detail, as we don't want to give them any useful information.

I was just about to share exactly the same experience here. The website has been performing significantly better recently, and it also feels much faster for end users. I think they’ve made additional investments in the site’s workflows; switching away from Cloudflare alone would explain the faster loading times, but not the site’s overall improved performance!

To be honest, an attack originating from just a single server would surprise me these days, since any DDoS prevention system would immediately block the source IP—unless the internet provider itself already blocks the server when it detects the high volume of requests targeting your infrastructure! Of course, it’s possible that a script kiddie has used AI to distribute scripts via Telegram and similar platforms to coordinate the attack.

But it’s great that you were able to get the problem under control so quickly again!
