New Coins Live Now

Ethereum (ETH)Live Now
DAI (ERC-20)Live Now
USDT (ERC-20)Live Now
USDC (ERC-20)Live Now
It's great to see USDC added! I had asked a while ago if it was planned and it's now implemented, just after a few weeks!
Looks like most of us had the same experience. It seems to be a normal occurrence when accessing the site via clearnet, but at the very least, it still works fine after a few page reloads. As b1ack have suggested, maybe you can try using Tor to see if it gives you a better experience.

It's nice to see that more coins are now live. I'm looking forward to BNB getting added soon Grin
Perhaps it was a random occurrence or bug. I've also downloaded Tor for the sake of using the exchange in case something happens to the clearnet link. I'm also routing for BNB to be added, hopefully it'll happen sooner or later.

It really nice seeing this pairs back on live at least now many members who were complaining and trying to test run some pairs will have the chance now to see the potential of the exchange. It was just little patience that was needed from users and of course many were patient enough which is why we witness positive news from you.
It really nice seeing the pairs are back on live now and the remaining pairs which ain’t yet on live I hope they get to be live soon.

Hi b1ack if I may ask why your total liquidity has decreased drastically? If I'm not mistaken, I've seen a total liquidity of over $6million, whereas now I'm only seeing a huge amount of Monero liquidity. Is everything okay?

In the past week I only swapped twice and then I don't see the b1exch site anymore. and now When I check there is a big change, namely the liquidity that has decreased drastically, especially in the liquidity of USDT ERC-20 which is relatively small for a swap site.

My recent swaps have gotten much faster than before. I'm not sure if it's because I'm using TOR more often compared to clearnet (those status errors are a pain in the butt). I'm taking into account that the maintenance did well and has some improvements.

In our previous announcements, we pushed an important update regarding liquidity:

We've transitioned to using our own liquidity reserves instead of mixed reserves alongside DEX protocols. This means we no longer depend on or route your swaps through THORChain.

We're monitoring system performance before adding more liquidity to the pools. Future liquidity additions will be based on user demand and swap volumes.

Does that mean that if, for example, I want to swap 5 ETH for BTC right now, but there isn’t enough liquidity for that pair, the swap won’t go through? Or have you set up an automated system that automatically provides additional liquidity when it’s needed for a swap?

Here, you could perhaps inform the user about what happens if there’s insufficient liquidity—anything from “don’t worry, it will be provided automatically” to “just come back later” would be technically possible.

Otherwise, I really have to say that I’m now very pleased with the site’s performance. You’ve obviously invested a lot in it—great job!

There's back order which might take 1-2 hours to fulfill your swap.
We are working to improve backorder so incase there is an big swap , you can see an estimated time for the swap to complete then you can decide to move forward or not.

Will liquidity be updated via user deposits, or do you have a separate deposit pool?
Wouldn't it be easier to use THORChain?

Thanks for the quick reply, b1ack!

So, as a user, I’d be able to see how long it takes for my order to be executed, but I could still cancel it if it takes too long?

From a user’s perspective, I think that would be a very good and transparent approach. While it would certainly be great if larger orders immediately triggered the provision of additional liquidity, this is relatively risky from b1eXch’s perspective, as the system could potentially be exploited—for example, through a series of rapid swaps that deplete liquidity but trigger provisioning processes in the background.

It would be great if that worked.
However, I can also see the scenario you described regarding unnecessary strain on the system or attacks (from whoever).
Based on my assessment of the site and the provider, though, I believe this has been taken into account, and hopefully there are technical ways to minimize the risk.

Wouldn't it be easier to use THORChain?

We have another pool base but it's small. Most funds are locked in XMR currently.

About THORChain:

Yeah, THORChain is easy - we could just stream swaps through them. But there are problems:

Privacy issues: • THORChain transactions are completely transparent • Everything can be tracked - amounts, addresses, everything • Destroys anonymity • We're a privacy exchange - routing through transparent DEX makes no sense
Performance problems: • Big swaps take forever on THORChain • Slippage is brutal on larger amounts • Lots of incomplete swaps (users send funds, get partial amounts back) • Random refunds • Unpredictable
We don't control it: • Once swap is on THORChain, we can't fix issues • At their mercy
Development uncertainty: • THORChain devs handing off to new team • Red flag • Uncertain future
So we moved to own liquidity only.

Current pools:
Under 20kreserves:Max20kreserves:Max50k per pool Above 20kreserves:Max20kreserves:Max100k per pool
We'll add more based on demand. No point pouring massive liquidity everywhere when it's not needed.
This update is new - monitoring for bugs. Growing carefully.
THORChain was for launch. Own liquidity is the real plan.

Also working on:
Enhanced privacy features for 100% anonymity. No other swap has done this.
Details coming. v

The weakest point here is if you always use the same address from which you send coins. The first time coins from a case with greater publicity end up at your wallet, you and all your addresses will be targeted. It ends with address blacklisting and a negative campaign. We have already seen such a case.

Now if we don't show the reserves , people will ask for proof of reserves and if we show it , we are hit with this issue.
To gain something you need to lose something.
Once we have enough trust we will starting hiding the addresses and using multiple addresses.

Yeah sure I feel you mate, in other to gain something sacrifices are made either being it little or big. I understand your point, a lot of people need prof and transparency before they could think of participating into something and with you showing the reserves I bet many have already gain your trust and acknowledge your presence, so I guess after some times now you can start the hiding process.
Maintain the positive energy mate and I hope you reach your positive goals. Good work man.

Well, people will always ask for things that come in their minds, mostly for reserves because of fear. There have been many cases of the platforms that did wrong with their users. However, not everyone will do that and there will always be advocates of privacy who'll offer their services for maximum privacy. B1exch is still new and overtime it'll surely get trust of the community and then hiding addresses and using multiple addresses will be okay for the ones who're privacy enthusiasts. I hope the day will come soon when most privacy lovers will prefer b1exch services over anything else but surely that'll take some time.

New Coins Live Now
The addition of new coins looking very good and it’s nice to see that more coins are coming soon, so in that way b1exch is doing well. But at the same time, some coins that were already live are being made unavailable just to add new ones. What I’m trying to say is, it would have been better if the existing live coins were kept as they are while adding the new ones.

It's nice to see that more coins are now live. I'm looking forward to BNB getting added soon Grin
I’m also waiting for BNP to be added live because I have some BNP in my reserve and I plan to exchange it once it becomes available. Grin

I noticed something. When you're on the onion domain, and you click on a link to a cryptocurrency's blockchain explorer, it redirects you to that explorer's clearnet domain.

But in cases where an onion domain also exists, shouldn't it automatically redirect to that domain?

There are certainly good reasons for going offline. As b1ack mentioned, they now want to provide the liquidity pools themselves as much as possible and, in doing so, assess just how much demand there actually is for certain currencies. In my opinion, these are very sensible measures; I would consider it more important for them to offer popular pairs with high liquidity than to add more altcoins that will likely see little to no use anyway.

I don't think a coin listed in b1exch uses an onion blockchain domain aside XMR, right?

Currently, I can't access the XMR blockchain explorer in the pool section via .onion because it's unavailable.
