Well here's another very interesting thread that somehow escaped my mosquito-capacity attention.....thing.  And it escaped it for months; that's inexcusable, because aside from the very tricky problem of trying to treat post quality with math, I think you did a damn fine job on this project *Ace*.  

I also congratulate you on jumping up through the ranks so fast and thought I might give you a little boost since I think you deserve it.  I wasn't familiar with your username and thought you might have been an older member who'd come back from pasture, but nope.  You're just a good writer and did a nice thing here for the people who go nutty over stats (and there's nothing wrong with that so far as I can see).  I shall keep your page bookmarked alongside bitlist.co and the other forum-related sites I visit from time to time.

Unfortunately, mathematically qualifying a post and saying with certainty whether it is high-quality or low-quality is extremely difficult. It can be done, there are the tools to do it, but it's a really big job to do and I don't have the skills to do it yet. This project initially started as an experiment, but then I focused more on user quality than post quality.
If I read and appreciate your posts I do it by giving merit to your posts, and if many people do it it means that you are a quality user, but this must happen for many posts and not sporadically. So far, I think my tool has come close to reality: the tool tracks community sentiment toward a single user and gives them a score. That score reflects the value we all indirectly gave to that user.
The userscript isn't working properly right now, as I've moved everything to my server and am rewriting all the code. But when it was up, it was nice to see who you were talking to. because that score that appeared was practically your business card.

I just got the domain for the project. I'm waiting for it to be activated and the DNS to propagate. I hope by tonight.
As always, I thank Mitchell and DYING_SOUL who funded this project.

Apparently everyone is coveted! This domain is very valuable! It will be the legendary version of IMDb.com
I am really very disappointed with this choice made by mynymbox, they must find a way to evaluate domains in real time and not give this bad news after paying. Among other things, they refunded me, but the credit can only be used within their shop, so I'm forced to buy from them.

Unfortunately, I haven't worked on updating the userscript yet. I've been dedicating all my time to rewriting the scraper, database, and website. The userscript will be updated and, more importantly, rewritten to be compatible with the new database. I think I'll do it next week. For now, after days of work and coding, my eyes are looking at each other. Excuse me

1. At the very start it says, (1,263,140 Merits - 21,056 Posts - 59,241 Users) - but what are they of? Everyday? 7 days? 30 days? What time period exactly!

2. These different categories of data, Top Reputation, Top Senders - where are these coming from (the source)?

3. The favicon is missing!

4. On specific profiles there is no option for seeing Merit History for (today, 7 days, 30 days, 120 days, all time).

5. Why the gap? Of two blocks!



6. Make the QR bigger lol! The bigger, the better! And maybe re-position...

Great news!
The layout of the new site is brilliant – much more pleasing to the eye, in my opinion. Well done, mate.

I haven’t checked for any bugs or inconsistencies yet, but I’ll do so over the next few days. In the meantime, I’ll let you get some rest, lol.

I really like the profile page; I’d perhaps just make the profile picture a bit bigger – it looks a bit small to me.
