Great progress with this update: I have finally integrated a shared database.
Awesome news! It's like playing a single player game vs a MMORPG!

However, I like your idea, but I don't know how I could do it because UserIDs are not divided by idlocalboard, so I have to find an alternative way to obtain a list divided by local board.
I have thought a lot about how to classify a user as "local" or not. I would say you can look at his posts on all local boards. When you see a local board that is prevailing a lot over other boards, then you can classify such a user as "local". For example, I post on local boards a lot, and on a lot of local boards, but you clearly see one local board has a lot more posts than others. Theny, I am a user of that local board. Simple!

That's a great idea, I'll get to work on it as soon as I have time. Thank you very much for the advice. Actually, I hadn't thought of that. I had thought of using the bitlist overview to determine the local board to which it belongs, which in reality should already aggregate the posts by board, so it shouldn't be too difficult, but I need to work on it a little.

Anyway, this extension has been active on my browser for a while, and I think it is working as intended, as it made me a little bit more aware of the user I am facing. I think it is very useful addition!

Thanks for the appreciation, mate, but it's only fair to point out that without your idea, this experiment would never have got off the ground. In addition to the BRDb score, I think the most important data that the script shows us is the impact score. For me, that's the score that really tells us what kind of user we're talking to.

*Ace* was there any bug in BRDb score or database today? I saw my trust score was reporting totally fake low value between 3 and 4, and I had to refresh and update all scripts to get the correct value. I didnt save screenshot as proof, but I have no reason to lie about that, and simple browser refresh didn't work.

Of course I believe you, other users have already encountered this problem. Unfortunately, it could conflict with other scripts or extensions. When it happens again, first take a screenshot. I need it to understand how to proceed in case of an issue. Then there is no need to reset all the scripts. Just go to your profile and click on the rounded arrow. I included it for this very reason, it resets the score.

-snip- it fetches the user profile page and obtains the data it needs to examine.
What would happen if a user has "leet" as his post count? I just saw this easter egg while browsing the merit records thread. It only appears when a user reaches 1337 posts, so I'm curious to know if this would affect your tool. Maybe you can even use it as an additional label?

Hi Ace, If you want some screenshot, here's mine: Been seeing this a few times, however, now that I'm trying to replicate it, somewhat I can't reproduce the result. But from what I recall, I could have been idle for sometime, i.e. moving to another tab, or opening a new browser and then when I will go back to the original browser with my profile sitting, I will get this low fake value. But when I will click refresh, everything is back to it's correct value.

Sorry for not responding, but I've been very busy with this project and other activities. I'm here to share some news and a very important update to the script, and more. I've created a web page for user profiles. The tool is scraping profiles to create a history. I've added a graph showing the BRDb score over time, global rankings and localboard rankings. The tool detects which local board you are on and flags it, for example, for me it is Italian. It now also recognises banned users and reports them. I will release the updated script code shortly. I am attaching some screenshots and, as always, I would appreciate your feedback. If you want to see it in action, follow this link. BRDb profileThank you very much, everyone.

If you want to see it in action, follow this link. BRDb profileThank you very much, everyone. But I want to see mine. Yeah I could just go through the leaderboard page list, and try to find my profile, but to me that seems like too much work. And their was no username search feature either. So would you be able to include the link to the each profiles, in the database manager, which will let users see their and others detailed activities? Also you might wanna take a look at your code again! Because I am seeing some users with zero activity, which shouldn't be possible given their reputation. Scraping issue?

Hey mate, one thing at a time It's not a scraping issue, the problem is in the old userscript that writes the data incorrectly in the database. Update the script from here https://greasyfork.org/it/scripts/562627-bitcointalk-brdb-scoreThere you will also find the button that links to your profile. Alternatively, you can replace UserID in the address bar with your own. The search button will be implemented as soon as possible. For now, I am focusing on data collection. Which local notice board do you write on most? Because I saw that the script does not detect any local notice boards on your profile. Your profile

Nobody is in a hurry anyway, I just spotted some issues, and was merely suggesting a solution, nothing else. I don't have a local board yet, theymos didn't gave us one, I and our local members use a local thread (not board) instead, from the Other languages/locations section. BTW, I'm not requesting it, but if u do add it, the ticker for my language will be "BAN", just letting you know just in case.

I have a lot of things in the pipeline, but I can't do everything in a short time, so for now I'm focusing on what takes me a long time. As soon as I have all the UserIDs, I can put up the search form. From what I understand, there are more than 16k UserIDs, and the scraper has currently processed 9k. Furthermore, as long as the old script is in use by other users, it will continue to save incorrect data to the database, so I think I will disable this setting. I will also add the search for your unofficial bulletin board to the to-do list for the moment.
