‎In global trade and finance, Hyper-comparative advantage or hyper-specialization is the modern evolution of traditional trade theory.
‎The traditional trade theory would define that Country A makes textiles and Country B makes wine only.
‎Whereas, the hyper comparative trade theory would define that Country A may specialize only on one aspect, specifically in the high-tech dyeing process of textiles and Country B will focus mainly in the marketing and logistics of global wine distribution.
‎This by far grows the economy and makes such a country become a dominant force in global trade and finance.

‎Nigeria as a country has crude oil and raw talent advantage both in technology and culture, but is still not at a hyper comparative advantage level in trade and finance in the global market, because the government obviously lacks the insight  of focus on other specific fragments of production process or value added tasks that could greatly be more financially rewarding than meets the eyes.

‎This country relies heavily on crude oil while its financial sector is focused on domestic stability with tax remittance policies that have no bearing rather than to think global dominance.
‎Power, logistics and inflation also contributes to making Nigeria more of a country still using and operating under the theory of traditional trade and that's why it would take a visionary president to catapult this country to the level it is supposed to be and be more dominant and in competition with global markets like China and U.S.

In my opinion Nigeria is still in contract with some countries that help them back in the days and so they have promised to uphold the contracts, it’s like there is a secret memo in Aso Rock that’s once you attain the presidency position you should go back to maintaining the contract which is suppling raw material to some country that refine them and send it back to us, what I have said doesn’t make sense to the other ears but some day people will notice that, or if you read history you will understand that one of the president did something similar to exposing this. Maybe this country could be china or any Goethe country that support Nigeria and our presidents visit once the attain position, hence leaving us still an unproductive country.

This is false. These are just excuses to incompetent and myopic leaders who only care about their own pockets. All these people care about is how to retain power, and they do it by any means necessary. Forget about all these conspiracy theories and face the reality of this country.
No external power is responsible for what Nigeria is today. Our leaders, past and present, are responsible for this.

We can see in real time how our GDP went from over five hundred billion dollars to just about two hundred billion dollars in less than ten years. We can see how the GDP per capita shrank to less than a thousand dollars. We are unproductive because the governments and politicians simply do not care. It's as simple as that.
What have the counsellors, local government chairmen, and house of assembly members done with their posts? What impact have they made in their various constituencies aside from building culverts, boreholes and street lights? Some are even giving out bicycles. What are the governors, senators and national assembly members doing in their states? Do they have an intention and a plan to make the lives of the people better?
Take a look at the state of our education sector. It's a mess. In some parts of the country, there are students who have written WAEC, but they cannot read. We need to stop with this external power bullshit and ask the right questions. Do you know that Nigerians don't know that it is the job of the government to provide drinking water for them?

We claimed to be exploited by foreign powers, then what about the lives of the people in the country? Until we stop blaming others for the mess of this country, we will continue to be like this. Nobody but our government is responsible for the situation of Nigeria.
