Have you been receiving such messages? Then block them directly instead of wasting time with them. I am sharing this because I received a couple of messages recently. So I think Telegram scammers are popping up again to make us fools. Though everyone would be aware of these scamming methods, it's just to remind you once again.

Their message patterns are the same. They will ask for some details, and then they will offer something greedy. In the meantime scammers will try to motivate you either to invest or may ask for tradings, etc. Somehow they will scam or hack your funds. So better block them directly when receiving such messages from an unknown account.

Plenty timez. I have been receiving such messages, especially in Telegram warning me about scammers, telling me instead of wasting my precious time fooling myself  about investing and trading. That they will show me the best platform. You know this people will make you believe is easier.  The worst part of it. They started asking me for my details.  The way and pattern surprised me.
So I stopped opening there messages.

Not anymore can will allow and watch these scammers continue the way they ha e been using over time to get into us, deceive and scamnat the end, just as you have advised, once you receive a message from unknown user, try to be calm in knowing that they are trying to communicate, if it's about any silly offer, they you don't have to waste your time with theirs, block them immediately.

I received the message a few days ago... they were asking how long he's been in crypto, asking about stocks... asking about investments and he kept praising me if I kept replying.

In the end he offered to trade with the end of sending a link to their private group.
I already suspected that this was trying to cheat in any way, because I didn't know the person suddenly sent DM first, well in telegram, the DM who came first should be suspicious, if necessary block it directly.

That's their pattern and as if they're only having a regular conversation with anybody so that they won't get suspicious. But like us, we've got an idea on where it is going. And if the person they're talking has no idea of what actually is happening, they're going to fall for it. Either will lead them to an exchange or any platform that they own and will try to convince you to deposit there to make quicker money. If you fall for it, you'll never get that money back and that's them to keep because they own that scam platform that they will introduce to you.

Is it the telegram account that you have its link on your profile on this forum? Or a Telegram account that you used to join a group like a crypto group recently? This could be the reason scammers are sending you messages. My telegram account is private to me, I do not use it to join any group and no scammer is messaging me.

Some how if feel like the kind of scammers we are having now are getting lazy because they just aren't bringing something new or catching. This kind of tactics are old and dump and to me someone still falling to such tricks has to wisen up. Then I still remember how we see new styles in which they try to scam people on telegram, some even going to the extent of sending you some what real coins and then would make you try to trust them before they pull the plug. Though no one is too big to fall scam, but if you have a sound knowledge on how these people work then it will be difficult for you to easily fall prey. If a contact I don't have on my phone or someone I didn't request chats me up, I simply delete them, end of conversation..

That's pretty patient scammer. Asking things before doing their old stuff. Some are just pretty straight forward and plain. "Go here and registered and earn x100 **sends link". Or "please help me i'm a student from xxx school, my fund worth $$$$ were stuck here i need you to deposit this amount and will share my funds to you after withdrawal **sends link" Lmao

Have you been receiving such messages?
Yes, I received up to 7 "hi"s last month and 3 already this month. I didn’t bother replying to any of them to the extent of having to entertain what they have to say or offer though..
I noticed most were just recently created accounts, like a day before or the particular day they messaged me, and after a while, like two weeks, they got deleted.

I’m not that much of a Telegram fan but I have it. I just don’t use it quite often, mostly just for the Tryninja notifier tool and few casual chats .

It’s locked to premium only but for someone who uses telegram regularly  for all sort of stuffs, it should be worth it. Still,  some people will actually prefer everyone to message them .

Some how if feel like the kind of scammers we are having now are getting lazy because they just aren't bringing something new or catching. This kind of tactics are old and dump and to me someone still falling to such tricks has to wisen up.

There are also some kinds of scams that are sophisticated scams. People still fall for the petty ones, too. That is why I always say spotting a scam is not a difficult thing to do. There are people that will receive a message like that from a random number or account and still continue to chat with the person.
Some people when they're offered a good deal, like helping the scammer log into his address and transferring money for him, they fall for it.
It's good to be able to spot scams easily because some scams come from hacked account of people you know. Or they could be impersonating people we know from other accounts.
Even the sophisticated scams are easy to spot because there are always red flags. It's when you let greed take the drivers seat that you fall for it.

Any conversation that starts with hello, that is not from my contact list, I don't respond to them because if I do, it will warrant the person to send messages like this, which I won't like. Snubbing is what I mostly do, and it is working for me, not to listen to these bullshits talks coming from these scammers mouths that have no meaning

The scammers comes with, first to introduce you to a business where you can earn money daily or within a short time period, the second that I know is to send you a web3 site where you can connect your wallet. I have heard of the scammers sending malware link also before. When I was still getting the message of the scammers, I block and report them immediately.

It’s locked to premium only but for someone who uses telegram regularly  for all sort of stuffs, it should be worth it. Still,  some people will actually prefer everyone to message them .
I do not think it is worth it, Telegram premium is used for business. If you are not using your Telegram for business, there is no need to go for premium. I know Telegram can also be used to upload higher gigabyte of files, remove ads and other things but good for business reasons. The best is to know how to spot the scammers (in short they are strangers) and block and report them immediately they message you.

The patterns are old but sill works till date and most of the time it works on old people, now it has become a problem for people expecting messages from anyone for their business or life while it is a solution to stop unsolicited messages, but however, the only thing we can do is when we get this messages and we for sure are not expecting any or has nothing to do with anyone of them it’s time to really block them because their will be regret at the very end if we don’t do it at the very beginning.

Perfectly normal if you are using telegram, in fact I lost counting on how many times I got such unsoliciated messages. By now, you could say, I became an expert, someone who has enough experience, enough knowledge, on how they act or what kind of words/tricks these scaammers might try to pull Tongue. I'm not sure whether you noticed, but if you a happend to be a member of any crypto related groups, or even better an admin or mods in such groups, you'll get these messages the most. At this moment I have two tg accounts. One of them is filled with groups like airdrop/bounty/crypto news etc (where I am getting these scam messages every few days) and the other one is kind of private, with less joined groups (where i never got a single unknown DM).

Majority of the time, I know exactly what they are going to do. So I don't block them instantly. I just pretend to not know anytthing, ask around what how, basically wasting their time, and when it's the final moment, I block them, lmao..I know I might be playing with fire but now I'm used to it.. Grin

Have you been receiving such messages? Then block them directly instead of wasting time with them. I am sharing this because I received a couple of messages recently. So I think Telegram scammers are popping up again to make us fools. Though everyone would be aware of these scamming methods, it's just to remind you once again.
Two things scammers use to get hold of people are trust and greed. We basically have 2 categories of victims and they eventually fall in either of these categories. Well when I greedy person eventually gets scammed, I don't really feel bad for them but for those that are quick to trust I do feel bad that they were probably naive.

Fact is the easiest way to avoid hacks and scams is to know how these scammers work plus don't be greedy and don't trust people blindly.

...at least this one didn't come out straight to present an offer that will lure their victim to stay hooked and give out more information. Anyone who will interact with a total stranger in this kind of way is not only an ignorant person, but a fool. Most scammers don't rush in their style, they take things slowly until they build trust. People can interact with these strangers at their own risk.

I can't agree less, to add to what you have said, most people who get scammed are people who are usually desperate to make profit and money out of nothing. Imagine a stranger introducing you to a business that would give you 10× profit, I think it is only greed that can convince you to buy such idea.

In the current world we live in today, it is difficult for even close associates to disclose or introduce you to their legimate source of wealth, so why would you feel a random user online will present you with such opportunity.

As per trust, there is a saying: Never trust anybody, however, it is inevitable not to trust. All I can say is, be carefull who you trust, mind you, that you trust someone today doesn't mean you should trust them tomorrow, change is constant and you should be able to spot one. Always watch out for fishy behaviours, be sensitive and careful when it comes to your funds and do not be fooled by these awful telegram scammers.

Telegram is a place where scammers dwell, that is telegram is the home of scammers currently. I have seen them appear in different forms just to get your attention. They either come as football tipster that you will need to subscribe to their channel and be paying to get weekly game to play, or crypto expert that will want to help in educating you about Bitcoin and trading. Its left for you alone which one they will scam you from. It's a funny encounter but a deadly One,

Fact is the easiest way to avoid hacks and scams is to know how these scammers work plus don't be greedy and don't trust people blindly.

The fact is that you cannot actually know how scammers actually operate because they are one of the smartest people, you will see them always updating their ways or method of approach which makes it very difficult for you to actually know their next moves and as such you can only just try avoid them and has you have rightly said it is always just the greedy one that’s fall victim most to them are easily looking for ways to actually get rich quick.

As for the newbies it is always offers with juicy returns and I say If it’s so then it’s a scam already because the believe is that there is no one who loves you on the internet to want you to make money.

Bitcoin is a meant to be a trustless currency without having to involve any third party its best to actually leave it treat all aspect of cryptocurrency like that
