Now, if they could only make it understandable in simple language.

Is it phone contact without the Internet like cellphones were originally? Or is it through the Internet in a new-ish way, like NOSTR? Or is it something else altogether?

I don't understand the article. I'm not much of a tech guy without some better understanding of what they are really doing. Besides, I don't like cloud in general. I don't trust it or the security involved in it.
