I feel Trump is starting many conflicts and solving none. His term is limited, there's no way he's going to make any thing right which he messed up in first place. There sure are US experts who believe everything Trump is doing is for strengthening US in long term but every of his moves could just be stopped or undone when the new administration comes in White House.
I am not a US citizen but I previously thought Trump would be the better president of US for the world but now I feel, a controlled fall of US under Democrats would have been better than this sudden decay under Trump.

This was basically the same response I was giving in a post earlier today. The US focus on things that shouldn't be of a priority at the moment. The US is still battling inflation. Cost of rent, high cost in shopping groceries, high bills, etcetera. Yeah, most citizens will say, the US has nothing to do with all this, that it is Trump who is doing all this for himself. I've recently watched what the premier of Greenland said that they're remaining and siding with Denmark. And when Trump was asked about that statement, he said that it's Greenland's problem and not his or the US'. I don't understand why he's focusing more with geopolitics rather than of the problems of his country and the states to improve the lives of his countrymen. Trump is doing his second tenure already, he will not be seeking for reelection again, so whatever he does at this point is to fulfill his own ego and things he prioritize, campaign promises might likely take the second fiddle. So the people running the government of America today, are protecting the interest of America and creating an expansionist influence across the globe, which also gives them some sort of satisfaction, which the public might seem to look at it as focusing on the wrong thing, however that domestic validation that they will need seem not to interest them too much at this point, this is not to say they are not having a smooth sail in terms of administration, but this is more like going after those bad guys on the international scene and trying to make a name for your administration. The next president of the US would have lots of remedial work to do. The current president is destroying relationships that took several years and effort to build. Trump is creating conflict that is not just costing money but it's reputation. NATO nations have been the most reliable allies of the US. Denmark and other Western allies would not allow Russia or China to take possession of Greenland, so why is Trump raising an alarm? Hm. The ideological tensions between Ukraine and Russia have started since 2004. Biden has nothing to do with that though US has directly intervened into the elections outcome. In 2013-2014 - Ukraine was on the edge of falling apart, and that situation got abused by Russia. The 2022 "full-scale" invasion - was a dumb move on the side of Russia. A weak "demonstration of force" in an attempt to convince a stronger opponent (Ukraine had a battle-hardened army of motivated people while Russian army had not taken part in any real conflict for decades, 2008 "war" has ended in no time).

One can remind the Tuzla incident - that was a consequence of purely economical issue (Ukraine has decided to start taking fees from the ships going to Russian port, Russia has decided to move border instead of digging its part of the sea to increase depth) that got solved by negotiations (Ukraine has agreed not to take fees, AFAIR, so what's for was to start doing that without prior negotiations in the first place?!) though propaganda of that time was drawing it as an attempt to capture a part of the territory.
