I think holding bitcoin is a very good way to invest in bitcoin, we all know that the price of bitcoin has been fluctuating for sometime now, be we should also remember that it has the potential to rise to a very good value in the near future,  because it has proven it that it's a very good investment. Bitcoin is worth holding just as you mention from the historical beginning of Bitcoin. Bitcoin started from a little beginning before making headlines, in those days nobody wanted to hold Bitcoin because Many believed that Bitcoin was not worth it.
